All Oboro Relics
There are five Oboro Relics to be found in this stage. Here’s where to get them:
Oboro Relic #1

After passing the first deadly sandstorm and sliding down a ramp, you’ll come across a path heading downward.

Go down and head left. Complete a short parkour section to reach a chest containing the first Oboro Relic.
Oboro Relic #2

From the Crevasse Shrine, climb up along the right wall to find a Yokai Barrier.

Break through it and follow the path to reach a chest with the second Oboro Relic. You’ll have to fight a few enemies along the way.
Oboro Relic #3

From the Astral City Shrine, continue until you face a gauntlet in an upper platform. After activating the crystal past the gauntlet, take the ziplines down.

From the bottom zipline, jump to the upper platform on the side

You’ll find a chest with the third Oboro Relic past the Yokai floor barrier.
Oboro Relic #4

From the Astral Ruins Shrine, glide up the air current and head right to find a hidden passage. This leads to a shrine in the Astral Labyrinth zone.

The Astral Labyrinth is a puzzle/parkour segment where you must use your Glider to navigate spike-filled mazes while activating crystals.

At the end, you’ll find a chest containing the fourth Oboro Relic.
Oboro Relic #5

From the Astral Ruins Shrine, keep moving forward until you spot a small platform on the left with a chest.

Open it to get the final Oboro Relic for this stage.
All Secret Chests
There are two Secret Chests in The Desert.
Secret Chest #1

After the final gliding section from the Air Shaft Shrine, head left into the purple section of the map.

Defeat the gauntlet of enemies here and continue a few steps left to find a Secret Chest containing the Water Serpent Ninpo.
Secret Chest #2

The second Secret Chest is inside the Astral Labyrinth hidden area. It’s located in the top-left corner of the zone. Collecting it rewards you with a Ninpo Cell Boost.
All Elite Squads
There are three Elite Squad encounters in this stage. Clearing all of them rewards you with the Snake Charmer Amulet.
Elite Squad #1

Follow the main path past the first Oboro Relic and you’ll find the first Elite Squad encounter just before reaching the Crevasse Shrine.
Elite Squad #2

From the Air Shaft Shrine, glide up the air currents with your Glider. Once at the top, head left. Push the yellow box aside and drop down to find the Elite Squad encounter symbol.
Elite Squad #3

After picking up the final Oboro Relic, continue along the main route to spot the final Elite Squads encounter symbol on the path up ahead.
Ankou Rift

The Ankou Rift for The Desert is located in the Astral Labyrinth secret area. After picking up the fourth Oboro Relic, drop down to the lower section to find the Grim Reaper waiting beside the portal.
