Welcome to Into Indie Games’ Guide on how to increase Base Size.
This is done by researching in the Research lab. You will need the Scientist, and you will need Qubit Chips. These are vital upgrades for the Quantum Computer. You find them as damaged chips out in the world, and then fix them in the Workshop. They are missable and will restrict upgrading your research tree, making the game much harder.
If you want to see the best ending(s), you need 5 Rapidium Arks. You need a lot of space in the base for that – so I suggest you get researching.
