Manage space efficiently

Thrifty Business

At the start of the game, you won’t have enough money to afford a lot of shelves. So you will need to make do with limited space by managing the placement of items. Regular items can be placed on shelves, and larger ones fit on the table. To display clothes, you need rails.

Place items below and behind the shelf. If they don’t fit, you may even need to rotate. To avoid wasting space, place smaller items around larger ones. If you see that the customers can’t reach a shelf, change the placement of the shelves.

You can store extra items in your inventory, and if it’s full, you can increase the capacity from the inventory menu. Though if your shelves are full, simply do not retrieve products from the boxes.

Collect Trash

Do not ignore the trash that the customer may leave during shifts. Collecting it rewards you with community points, which you can redeem to get decoration items. You can also hold events to get more of these points.

Maximize Profit

Thrifty Business

Never let free boxes go if you are looking for a profit. This will also help you get out of bankruptcy. Prioritize stocking similar genre boxes to increase the level in the shop score genre to get a bonus.

Avoid purchasing expensive boxes or too many decorations at the start. If you are looking to complete customer stories, focus only on the relevant genres.

If you hold events, the demand for a specific item will increase. The genre with the increased demand will be shown in the calendar the day before. So buy boxes with those categories to increase sales.

Get familiar with categories

There is a lot of category overlap in the boxes you can claim. For example, the outdoor boxes may have camping items and well, Media may have electronics, Cooking may have baking, Crafting can have both household and cooking and so on.

The more specific you are, the higher your chances of an item appearing. You don’t always have to find the exact match that the customers are requesting. Items in a different color work too.

Fast Forward

Thrifty Business

You don’t have to sit around idly while customers shop; just fast-forward when you have nothing to do. Boxes also refresh every day, so just quickly get through the day. If you have nothing on your shelves, customers will just enter and leave.

Organize the lower floors beforehand, but you can continue to restock the shelves on the ground floor during your shift to save time.
