Vampire Crawlers is the much-anticipated dungeon-crawling, card-battling rougelike by Poncle. In this game, you get to control one out of 22 characters, or rather Crawlers, as you navigate different dungeons, collect upgrades, uncover secrets, and face off the final boss at the end.
One of the game’s biggest strengths is how unique each Crawler feels. Each of them has their own specific playstyle, strengths, and weaknesses that you have to learn to truly master them. However, unlocking them is a whole other thing. In this guide, we’ll give you a quick list of requirements you need to complete to unlock every Crawler in Vampire Crawlers.

How to Unlock Every Crawler in Vampire Crawlers

There are a total of 22 Crawlers that you can play as in Vampire Crawlers. Antonio Belpase is the starting Crawler, and you’ll unlock him as soon as you finish the tutorial. After playing through Mad Forest and unlocking the Inn, you’ll get the Crawler Selection menu, which also unlocks Imelda Belpase.
However, to unlock the rest of the 19 Crawlers, you need to complete certain requirements. These requirements range from simple things like playing a card a specific number of times, clearing a specific zone, to more complicated tasks like finding hidden items in different dungeons.
Certain Crawler unlocks also require you to complete other unlocks. For example, to unlock Porta, you need to play Lightning Ring cards. However, to unlock Lightning Ring cards, you must first defeat 2,500 enemies.
Below, you’ll find a list of all the Crawlers and the requirements for unlocking each of them:

The good news is that you don’t have to go out of your way to unlock new Crawlers. Most of them will unlock as you progress through the game. Only a few of these unlocks require you to play a level multiple times. On top of that, these unlocks share their progress bar.
For example, as you’re defeating Skeletons to unlock Mortaccio by repeatedly grinding the Mad Forest area, you’ll also be progressing the bar for Krochi that requires you to defeat 6,666 enemies.
