Disclaimer
Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is currently in early access, so the game is not going to be perfect. Titles released in early access often have bugs and glitches. Games are released in early access so developers can shape them according to the community’s feedback and address existing issues over time. Due to that, if you do not like the idea of playing a game that is still in development and not in its final state, you may want to wait for the full release instead.

How To Open The Serpent Head Gate In Vampires: Bloodlord Rising

You may have already seen a Serpent Head door very early in the game. One of the first locations where this door appears is in the area where you are assigned to gather sand and clay. Head over to that location.
Before approaching the gate, make sure you have a full or near-full supply of blood. Blood is everything in Vampires: Bloodlord Rising, and you should always try to keep your blood meter above half whenever possible.
Once you have a sufficient blood supply, head over to the gate. There will be two serpents that you need to feed here. After pouring blood into both serpent mouths, the door will unlock. The process itself is simple, but you may not be able to perform it immediately when you first encounter the door.

We’re not a hundred percent certain, but you may need to have established your rule over Hell’s Chasm before you can use this mechanic. This would make sense because you are introduced to this mechanic when awakening Reveka. She will then take control over Hell’s Chasm on your behalf.
If you are unable to pour blood into the serpent mouths, make sure you have already established your rule over Hell’s Chasm. To do this, you can check out our walkthrough on how to rule over Hell’s Chasm simply and easily.
Keep in mind that there are several Serpent Head doors scattered throughout the world. You can find them by exploring different regions.
Do not attempt to open one when you are low on blood supply. That is because it can ultimately end the existence of your character. Always explore the world while maintaining a healthy amount of blood, and only then attempt to open these gates.
What Is Inside The Serpent Head Doors?

Once you open the door, there will not be much exploration to do inside. Instead, you will find a Vampire Lord’s Tear here. This reward consists of three Vampire Tears, which can be used to unlock powerful skills.
If you are unsure which skills to unlock first, you can check out our guide on the best skills to unlock. Our guide explains some of the best skills you can unlock early in the game.
