Wandering Tales in this game are a prime example of this, and for today’s guide, we will cover A Cure for Hollow Joy and how you can complete it.

How To Start The A Cure For Hollow Joy Wandering Tale

In the Qinghe region, just north of the Crimson Cliff area, you should spot a man acting differently, standing on the ledge of the mountain.

Approach him and speak to him. During the conversation, you will learn that he can barely speak and just laughs until he can barely breathe. He asks you to recover the vials for him, which should release him from this curse.

There are three vials that you need to find for Xiao the Healer, and all three of them are just around the Crimson Cliff area.

How To Find All The Vials

The first vial can be found just southwest of the Crimson Cliff. Make your way there until you spot an enemy camp. Make sure you defeat the enemies first and clear the camp.

After you complete that, near the cooking pot, you should see a vial laying on some jars. That’s the one you’re looking for. Pick it up.

The second vial can be found just northwest of this enemy camp. Make your way there until you reach a hill with a wild bear nearby.

When you approach it, the bear will attack you, so you will need to take care of him first. After you are done, another vial will be laying on the rock, so don’t forget to pick it up.

The third and last vial can be found to the northeast of the Crimson Cliff, and it’s tricky to spot. Make your way there until you find a cliff.

What you need to look for here is a nest with eggs, since the vial is inside. You just need to interact with the nest once you find it.

You can use the Wind Sense skill, which will make it easier for you to spot.

How To Complete The A Cure For Hollow Joy Wandering Tale

After you’ve obtained all three vials, head back to the healer’s location and interact with him. You will have an option to Give; click on it.

Here, you will see all three vials, so just confirm to give all of them. After your final conversation, you will get a notification on the left side that you’ve completed this Wandering Tale.

You will need to click on View on this notification to go to the menu section of Wandering Tales. Only there can you claim the rewards for completing this quest.
