Wandering Tales can be hard to complete in Where Winds Meet for two reasons. The first reason is that you don’t always know how to start them, and the second one is that you don’t know how to complete them.
Despite them giving you hints, you might struggle with these, especially if you are a completionist. This is why in this guide we cover one of them, which is A Foolproof Plan.

How To Start A Foolproof Plan Wandering Tale

In order to start the A Foolproof Plan Wandering Tale, you need to make your way to the north of the Heaven’s Pier area in the center of the region.
As you walk by, you will hear a young man wearing green shouting, telling you he has something valuable for you.
This is Shu Shu’er, who is the quest giver, so make sure you approach him and hear what he has to say.
Where To Find Parting Tears

During the conversation with him, he will mention that he can sell you a treasure map that should lead you to fortune if you bring him some Parting Tears.
Thankfully, the jar of Parting Tears is just nearby, so simply head north by the docks. There, you should find a few wine jars, and on the wooden box, there will be a small jar; that’s the Parting Tears.
Pick it up and bring it back to Shu. Give the item to him, and he will give you the treasure map in exchange. However, the treasure map is just a drawing of the face of the so-called Killerblade.
As soon as he hands this to you, he will escape, and you will need to find him in order to get your revenge.
How To Complete A Foolproof Plan Wandering Tale

Thankfully, Shu didn’t get that far, and he can be found just northeast near the West Heaven’s Pier fast travel point. If you follow the path ahead, you should see him begging for his life in front of two people.
Approach him and interact with him. Surprisingly, you will help him get rid of the two dangerous people despite what he did to you. For that, he will be thankful, and this should complete the tale.
You will get a notification on the left side of the screen that you completed the tale. You will need to click on View on this notification to go to the menu section of Wandering Tales. Only there can you claim the rewards for completing this quest.
