Where Winds Meet – A Toast To Heroes Wandering Tale Guide

During your adventures in Where Winds Meet, you’ll encounter a wide variety of quests. Many tasks involve tracking down items, locating people, or facing off against powerful foes.

Not every quest, however, revolves around combat. Some are more lighthearted, like helping a grandpa recover his lost wine so he can raise a toast to the fallen heroes.

How To Start The A Toast To Heroes Wandering Tale

In order to start the A Toast to Heroes wandering tale, you need to make your way to the Verdant Wilds, located to the east of the Qinghe region.

Toward the west of the fort there, you should find a checkpoint. There, you will see an old man who seems to be crying, called Grandpa Zhou.

Speak to him, and you will learn that he lost his wine bag nearby, and it is now guarded by some poisonous snakes. So your first objective is to help him retrieve the bag.

How To Get The Lost Bag

The lost bag that Grandpa needs back is located just north of his current location. If you make your way to the small hill, you should see some snakes roaming around the bag.

Now, snakes in this game can be very deadly and could easily kill you, so you have two options here.

• You can try to go down and kill each and every one of them, then retrieve the bag from there.
• Alternatively, you can use Celestial Seize from the hill without going down and take back the item.

Whichever method you used to retrieve the bag, head back to Grandpa and give it back to him.

You will think he will be happy now, but only then will he realize that all the bottles of wine are cracked and basically useless.

Yet again, our hero is here to help and offers to find some wine for him.

Where To Find The Wine

There are two bottles of wine that you can find around the Battlecrest Slope area, and both of them are located within enemy camps.

The first camp is located just south of the fort. Make your way there and defeat the three enemies in the camp.

After you deal with them, you will find the bottle of wine sitting on the corner of the broken carriage.

The second camp is located on the opposite side, toward the north of the fort.

Just like the previous one, make your way there and deal with the enemies first.

The bottle of wine is located, just like the previous one, at the edge of the broken carriage.

How To Complete The A Toast To Heroes Wandering Tale

With the two bottles of wine in your possession, make your way back to Grandpa. However, this time he is not at his first location.

He will have moved to the Northern Vow Ruins fast travel point, so make your way there. Interact with him and give him both of the bottles of wine, and he will be satisfied.

This will mark the completion of the A Toast to Heroes wandering tale.
