Where Winds Meet can throw a lot at you when you first start playing. This can happen to the point that you might get overwhelmed with how much you need to learn. But sometimes, the simplest things the game doesn’t really explain are important, like hair color.
When you started to make and customize your character, you probably were scratching your head wondering how to get rid of that black hair and go blonde. Well, we’re here to help, but you may not like the answer to that.

How To Change Hair Color

The reason why you can’t change the color of your hair is that you need to visit the Shop menu in the game and buy certain hair dye colors, or take part in the gacha pool in the game for a more basic hair dye.
So the first thing you will probably want to do is progress through the game and gain a specific in-game currency called Essence of Earth.
However, in order to get your hands on this item, you need to draw from the Solemn Echo banner using Resonating Melody. Lucky for you, this item can be purchased with Echo Jade, which you can get from completing missions, reaching milestones, daily logins, and so on.

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of drawing and testing your luck, the second option is easier. However, it will require some real-life money.
You just need to head to the Shop menu, go to the Items section. There, you should find three types of dyes called Rosycloud Dye Powder, Inkshade Hair Dye, and Softweave Dye Powder.
It also seems that even when you have a dye, you can’t change the color of certain hairstyles. This can be easily spotted by a brush rainbow mark on it, indicating that you can customize its color.
How To Use A Hair Dye

Now that you have managed to get your hair dye, you can use it on the specific hairstyle that can be dyed.
First, open your inventory and go to Appearance. From the wardrobe menu, click on your hair and then select the hairstyle you want to dye.
Confirm the choice, and you will get the menu of available colors depending on which hair dye you bought.
