As Whiskerwood is a city builder, you need to take care of your workers. They are the ones doing all the labor, so keeping them happy is essential. Providing proper food for them is key. You can gather berries, but they take a lot of time and are not a sufficient food source for a large population. Therefore, it is important to set up a more reliable food supply. How To Fish In Whiskerwood
Fishing in Whiskerwood is quite simple. You first need to build a Fishing Dock that unlocks pretty early in the game. However, it requires 21 logs and one machinery. You get the former by chopping wood and the latter by completing quests. You can also get logs by completing quests, but it is essential that you build a Woodcutter and assign workers to it.
That said, once you have built a Fishing Dock, it is time to assign some of your workers to it. Now that you have assigned some workers, the rest would be simple. You no longer have to do anything, as the workers will be doing the rest.
However, make sure you build the Fishing Dock near the warehouse so the Whiskers can stock the fish quickly. This will allow you to have a lot of fish and not worry about the workers complaining about being hungry. That said, one Fishing Dock may not be enough, so I recommend having at least two of them.
Sure, it will take six of your workers, but it is worth it as you aim to develop a much bigger colony. Now that you have a better source of food, you can even use it as a means to pay taxes.
