Welcome to the Into Indie Games guide to Toem! This guide focuses on collecting stamps only, and it does not currently cover compendium photos.
The stamps in Toem are not numbered, but we’ll be numbering them here to make things more manageable. For more information on Toem, check out the official website here.
Homelanda
Get off your bed, lazybones! Then, pick up your backpack. You can start a journey without one, after all.
Once you have your backpack, head out of the room. Next, talk to Nana (your grandma, i.e.). She will give you a camera.
Use the camera to take a picture (it can be of anything). Make sure you save it to your album.
Talk to Nana again and show her the photo from your album. Now follow Nana out of the house and into the outdoors.
Now talk to the Bus Stop guy to be granted a Commmunity Card. You will also be instructed on how stamps work.
You only need one stamp to progress from here, but you can earn a total of 3. Note that the third stamp is ‘Experience Toem’, which won’t be earned until we end the game, so you really only have 2 stars you can earn right now.
Stamp: Take a Photo of Nana!
Talk to Nana to start this quest. Then, simply take a picture of Nana with your camera.
Make sure you are pointing the camera’s circular crosshair at her! Show her the picture of herself to get the stamp.
Stamp: A Hidden Gift
Talk to the farmer to get this quest. He can be found standing between a tree and a half-eaten apple. To get the hidden gift, go behind your own house using the path where clothes are hanging off a hangar.
Interact with the gift box to get Clogs. Talk to the farmer again to get your stamp!
Progressing to Oaklaville
Once you have enough stars (1), head on to the bus stop guy and get your bus ride over to the next area, Oaklaville.
