How to Synthesize the Puppet Virus

After a long elevator ride, you’ll finally find yourself at the front doors of the Bunker. Go inside.

Continue heading forward, down the stairs. You’ll spot another dead, mutated monster at the bottom of the stairs. Beside it, there’s a page from Sister Angelica’s Notepad on the floor. Pick it up and then interact with the fingerprint scanner by the door.

Place your hand on the scanner by clicking the middle part. The door will open, and you can head through the corridor to a larger room.

Navigate the dark room. It’s split into two sections, divided by a walk-through metal detector. Go through it to the other side.

On the other side, you’ll see a door on your right. This leads to the Generator Corridor.

Instead of heading to the Generator Corridor, take a few steps forward and go left to spot a passage. This leads to the Puppet Virus Synthesizing Machine.

We don’t know the correct ratio of chemicals to mix here. If you use the wrong ratio of chemicals and inject yourself with it, you instantly die. So, back away for now, and head to the Generator Corridor through the door.

Continue along the corridor and take the first left up ahead. Follow the corridor to the end to spot a door. This takes you to the Bunker Office.

The Bunker Office is a safe zone. Save your game and then look around the area to find a page (Eureka!) from Sister Angelica’s Notepad on a table.

The image in this note shows you the correct ratio of chemicals you need to Synthesize the Puppet Virus.

Head back to the main room of the Bunker and interact with the Puppet Virus Synthesizer. Use the arrow buttons to set up the ratio so that there are 6 parts of Red (the dominant amount), 2 parts of Green, and 1 part of Yellow in the tubes.

Once that’s done, click on the space under the needle to place your hand inside it. Then click the Start button to inject yourself with the virus. Your body and even the heartbeat will now turn purple, showing that you’ve been successfully infected by the Puppet Virus.

How to Activate the Generator

Return to the Generator Corridor and keep moving forward. Ignore the turn that takes you to the Bunker Office. You’ll face one of those scuba-diving suit monsters up ahead. Take it down and go forward to spot two paths ahead of you.

The path straight ahead leads you to the Generator Room. Go right instead to spot a white door. Head inside to reach the Elevator Passage.

As the name suggests, there’s an elevator in this room, but it doesn’t work at the moment.

Check the rest of the room. You’ll find the Spark Plug on a stretcher in the infirmary section of the room. You’ll also find some Painkillers and a First Aid Kit here.

Exit the room and continue along the corridor, turn right, and go down the stairs.

The door up ahead can only be accessed by Puppet Virus Carriers. Since you’ve already injected Caroline with it, you can use the fingerprint panel on the right to open the door and head through. Go through the door on the other side to reach the Generator Room.

As you take a few steps into the room, you’ll spot a large generator. But it’s not working. Take the ladder in the room to get on the walkway above.

Move down to spot a device that you can interact with.

You’ll note that the Spark Plug on the final slot is missing. Place the Spark Plug from your inventory into the empty slot.

Go back down the ladder. Inspect the switch on the right side of the generator (near the ladder). Turn the red switch on.

Quickly run to the other side of the generator towards the front to spot a lever. Interact with it.

Click on the lever to connect the coupling mechanism and activate the generator.

With that done, head to the Elevator Passage. The elevator is now powered. Interact with the panel on the left, and head inside the elevator once the door opens.

How to Find the Syringe (Empty)

From the Elevator Panel, choose B2 to head down to the second level. Continue heading through the room to reach a door at the end. This takes you to the Rotunda Corridor.

Go forward to spot a door up ahead. There’s a corridor on your left. Head along the corridor first.

You’ll spot a locked door with a security panel up ahead. You’ll need the Laboratory Access Card to open this door. Keep this area in mind for now and continue forward along the corridor.

Note the scuba suits on the right as you move. Two of them will come alive the next time you go through this corridor.

You’ll find a door at the end of the corridor. Go inside to enter the Containment Ward.

Move forward along the steel walkway to reach a room with a projector screen and a VHS Player on the table.

Continue forward past this room to reach a small elevator. Take it to the lower floor.

Make your way around the lower floor to find a small chamber filled with dead, mutated monsters. Inspect the body to pick up the Syringe (Empty).

How to Get the Syringe (Filled)

After picking up the Syringe, make your way back to the upper level. You’ll be ambushed by two Mutant enemies. Take them down and exit the room.

Make your way along the Rotunda Corridor all the way to the entrance. Be prepared to fight the scuba suit-wearing monsters.

Go through the door near the starting point of the corridor to enter Subject Containment.

There are two ladders in the room: one going down, and one going up. Take the ladder down first.

Head to the front of the room to spot a massive mutated monster up ahead. It’s chained up and can’t hurt you.

There’s also a panel with a red light on it. Interact with the panel. It’ll say “The System is Ready.

Return to the upper floor and take the other ladder to head up. Go through the door to reach a steel walkway.

Go to the panel on your right first and interact with it.

This will inject the top of the monster with a giant extractor needle.

Loop around the steel walkway to reach another panel. Interact with it.

Continue moving along the passage of the Ancient Temple. Eventually, you’ll reach another large door up ahead. Go inside to find Mother Lucia and Anna. This triggers a cutscene.

NOTE: If you managed to save Miguel, he’ll save Anna as Mother Lucia tosses her aside, leading to the Good Ending.

How to Beat Lord Nautilus

After the cutscene, the fight against the final boss begins. Lord Nautilus is an ancient Lovecraftian deity summoned by Mother Lucia, using the essence of the four bosses you defeated on your journey.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

When the fight begins, you’ll notice six tentacles around the boss. Four are pointing up from the water, and two are blocking your path up to the boss. You can’t damage the boss directly, so save your bullets.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

The fight usually begins with the boss slamming down one of the tentacles into the arena. Dodge it by running away. After the tentacle slam attack, the tentacle will remain on the arena for a duration. You’ll also see a yellow glow on it when it’s stationary.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

This is your chance to attack the tentacle. As you keep attacking it, the color changes from yellow to orange and finally, red. After enough damage, the tentacle will disappear. You need to destroy each of the four tentacles of the boss. Focus on running around, dodging its attacks, and hitting the tentacles after the slam attack.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

Once all four tentacles are destroyed, the boss falls into the arena. The two tentacles blocking your path to the boss also disappear.

At this point, run up to the boss’s head and interact with it. Use your Crowbar to break the shell on its head.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

You can now fire a couple of rounds using your most powerful weapon to damage the boss.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

After a moment, the boss will get back up. Repeat the same steps. Once the boss drops, go up to its head and fire a few more shots. Eventually, the boss will go down.

tormented souls 2 walkthrough

This will trigger the final cutscene depending on the Ending that you’ve unlocked. Congratulations on completing Tormented Souls 2.
