How to Get to The Cemetery

From the entrance to the Processing Plant, make your way back to the Backstreets via the large set of stairs.

At the bottom, head forward along the road toward the truck with its back door open.

You’ll spot a path heading left. Take the path to reach a gate locked with a wooden block. Use your Chainsaw to cut the block and head through the gate. This takes you to the Sewer Walkway.

Get your Lighter out and continue moving forward. Keep running as crab monsters keep jumping out of the water behind you. You can’t fight them, yet, since you’re holding the Lighter.

Along the way, you’ll spot a stack of crates on your left. But you can’t break them cause the darkness will consume you.

Follow the walkway to the end of the path to spot another steel gate. Go through it to reach the Cemetery Entrance.
How to Get The Club Key

From the entrance, go forward and you’ll spot two paths ahead of you. Take the path leading up first.

You’ll spot a door up ahead. But it’s locked for now and requires you to solve a puzzle to unlock. You can also spot a statue of two children entangled with each other near the door. This is the Gemini Puzzle, and we’ll solve it later. For now, take the path on the left between the two flower vases.

This takes you to a large tree with several ropes hanging from it. One of the ropes has a set of keys attached to it. Pick it up to collect the Club Keys. You’ll also find some Nails on the bench nearby.
How to Get The Cemetery Map

Make your way back towards the entrance of the Sewer Walkway. When you get to the fork on the road, you’ll be attacked by a ghost. Take it down and take the bottom path this time.

The gate up ahead leads to the Cemetery Grounds, but it is locked and must be opened from the other side. Head across the wooden bridge on the left.

Continue along the path and turn left to find a door leading into a house. Enter the house to reach the Cemetery Office.

This is a safe zone, so save your game. Check the bulletin board in the room to pick up the Cemetery Map.
How to Find the Constellation Disk Piece

After picking up the map, loop around the room to the other side, past the recording machine. You’ll see a picture on the wall on our left.

Inspect it to learn that the statue you saw in the Town and in the Processing Plant was erected in memory of Pedro Fischer. This is an important name and will come into play later.

Move forward and you’ll spot a bunker door on the left. Go in to reach the Burial Chamber.

Walk down the narrow corridor to arrive at the balcony of the main section of the Burial Chamber.

Circle around the balcony to spot a book on a pedestal between two angel statues. Just in front of it, there’s an item on the railing. Pick it up to collect the Constellation Disk Piece. We’re done with this area for now, but we’ll return later for another puzzle.
How to Find the Constellation Disk

Exit the Cemetery Office and head right. Go up the stone staircase.

At the top, go into the tomb on the left to find some Coil Nails and the note Gravedigger Lazaro’s Diary.

Head back down the stone staircase and continue along the road past the stairs. You’ll spot a gate up ahead. This takes you to Cemetery Grounds.

Continue making your way along the path of the Cemetery Grounds. You’ll get attacked by a ghost up ahead. You can see a staircase on the other side of a steel gate. That is our main path.

But before going through the gate, do a quick sweep of this area. You’ll see a large statue in the middle. A quick look around the grave tells you that this is the statue of Pedro Fisher.

There’s a panel in front of the statue, but three of the dials you need for it are missing.

Make your way to the gate, open it, and head up the stairs.

Go right, along the balcony, and go left up ahead, to reach the other side of the structure. You’ll have to fight a few ghosts along the way.

Continue following the path on the balcony to spot a set of stairs going down. Don’t go down yet.

Instead, stay on the path and loop around to the other side. You’ll spot a plaque on the wall.

Inspect it and take a screenshot of the plaque. You’ll need to review this later for a puzzle.

Get back to the stairs and head down. Continue forward to reach a narrow path. The gate up ahead unlocks a shortcut back to the Cemetery Entrance. Unlock the shortcut, return to this spot, and go down.

Turn left up ahead to spot the graves of Caroline Walker and Anna Wildberger… this is getting weird.

Continue past the graves to reach a steel gate leading up. Go down instead.

Head toward the gate at the end.

Interact with it and use the Club Key you picked up from the tree with the hanging ropes to unlock it.

As you take a few steps forward, a ghost will spawn and attack you. Take it down. Then check inside for some Shotgun Ammo, another page for Gravedigger Lazaro’s Diary, and most importantly, the Constellation Disk.
How to Enter the Gemini Mausoleum

Now that you have both the Constellation Disk and the Constellation Disk Piece, return to the locked door with the two children statue near the hanging tree in Cemetery Entrance.

Open your inventory and examine the Constellation Disk. Then, combine the Constellation Disk Piece with the center of the Constellation Disk to complete the item.

You can now examine this item in your inventory and rotate the three rings in it to rearrange the position of the stars.

Inspect the statue. You’ll spot a round slot on the panel where you can place the Constellation Disk. But you need to set it up properly first.

You already have the hint you need to solve the puzzle. The two children in the statue refer to the constellation Gemini. The proper position of the stars is shown on the plaque you saw in the balcony of the area leading up the stairs from the Cemetery Grounds.

Check the image above to see how you need to set up the Consteallation Disk. Insert the Constellation Disk into the empty slot of the Gemini Statue, and the door will unlock.

Go inside to enter the Gemini Mausoleum.

It’s a small room with two important items for you to pick up. The first is a note right next to the door called Morbid Illustrations.

Next is the Metal Detector found inside the locker up ahead. The bunker door on the right is locked for now.
How to Find The Hand Cannon (Optional)

After picking up the Metal Detector, your main goal is to find three Octagons for the next puzzle. However, there’s a powerful ranged weapon that you can find in the Cemetery. We’re gonna grab this weapon before moving forward in the zone.

The item is in a locked chest inside a tomb that you’ll find in the Cemetery Grounds, on the road that unlocks the shortcut back to the Cemetery Entrance area. Check the image above for its exact location. To unlock the chest, you need to find four Animal Dials hidden throughout the zone.

In the Cemetery Entrance area, head toward the locked (shortcut) gate to the Cemetery Grounds and turn right to spot a tomb. Go inside and loot the tomb to find the Bat Dial
In the Cemetery Entrance area, climb up the stone staircase and head inside the tomb on the right(opposite to where you found Gravedigger Lazaro’s Diary). Loot the coffin to find the Turtle Dial.

In the Cemetery Grounds area, on a small section on the left side of the grave of Pedro Fischer. Inspect the coffin that’s pulled out halfway to find the Dog Dial.
In the Cemetery Grounds, after going down the stairs past the steel gate, just before the path leading to the shortcut back to the Cemetery Entrance. It’s directly opposite the tomb with the chest holding the weapon. Loot the coffin on the right to find the Bird Dial

Once you have all four Animal Dials, go to the chest, inspect the plaque titled “The Four Animals”. This holds the clue to solving the puzzle. Use the four Animal Dials in the slots in this order from left to right. Bird, Turtle, Bat, Dog.

Press the buttons below each dial to orient its position
- Bird: Facing diagonally downwards to the right.
- Turtle: Lying on its back.
- Bat: Upside down with its head downwards.
- Dog: Diagonally upwards with its face pointing left.

The chest will unlock, and you can pick up the Hand Cannon to add a powerful weapon to your arsenal. It currently has only three shots. We suggest saving it for now.
How to Find the Three Octagons

After picking up the Hand Cannon, head back to the Cemetery Entrance area. Examine the Morbid Illustrations in your inventory. One side of the note shows you the locations where the three Octagons (Gold, Silver, & Bronze)are hidden. On the other side, you can see an illustration of the statue in the Cemetery Grounds.
Head to each of the locations shown in the illustration and use your Metal Detector to search the surroundings. You’ll be able to pick up an Octagon in each of these spots.

The images above show you where you find these Octagons.
How to Solve the Cemetery Grounds Statue Puzzle

As soon as you pick up the final Octagon piece, zombies will start to crawl out from the floor of the Cemetery.

Save your ammo and run straight for the large statue in the middle of the Cemetery Grounds. Inspect the panel.

Insert the three Octagons into the empty slot in this order: Gold, Silver, & Bronze. Click the red button above each dial to rotate it and spell out the name PEDRO.

This will open a panel behind the statue. Run around the statue and interact with the panel.

Walk up to the door and head inside to enter the Catacomb.
How To Find the Marble Sword

Make your way through the dark passages of the catacomb. As you move forward, you’ll find unlit candelebras along the path. You can use your Lighter to light them up.

Further in, you’ll come across a fork, with another path heading right. Go right.

This leads to a dead end. Pick up the Old Photo on the table and return to the fork.

Continue along the path to spot a wooden on your right. This unlocks a shortcut back to the Burial Chamber.

Unlock the shortcut and continue heading up the passage. You’ll eventually reach a set of stairs that’ll lead you to a dark chamber. There are two candelebras here that you can light up.

Head to the end of the room to find a broken coffin. Interact with it.

Click on the sword to collect the Marble Sword.
How to Solve The Four Horsemen Puzzle

After picking up the Marble Sword, a barrier will appear on the door that you came through. Zombies will spawn. Take them down to break the barrier.

Make your way back through the passage and take the shortcut door to get back to the Burial Chamber. The book on the balcony near where you picked up the Constellation Disc Piece holds the hint for the next puzzle.

This puzzle is pretty straightforward. There are four statues in the lower section of the Burial Chamber, accessible via the ladder. Each statue represents one of the four horsemen: Victory (with the crown), War (with the helmet), Death (skeleton), and Famine (the one who looks starved).

The horseman of death is missing its arm. Use the Famine Sword from your inventory on its missing arm to put it into place. There’s a panel in front of each statue that lets you rotate the sword in its hand. To solve this puzzle, rotate each sword to their correct position:
- Victory: 12 o’clock
- War: 6 o’clock
- Death: 11 o’clock
- Famine: 3 o’clock

Once you set up the positions, a lift rises from the bottom of the chamber. Interact with the lift to head down to reach a new area. Take a few steps forward to trigger a new cutscene.
How to Defeat Dr. Hertz

Watch the cutscene. Once it ends, you’ll get transported to an area filled with bloodied corpses and tentacles on the wall. This is the Mass Grave (Other Side).

As you turn around and take a few steps, an enemy spawns. This is the third boss in the game, Dr. Hertz.

Of the bosses you’ve faced so far, Dr. Hertz is either the easiest or the hardest, depending on how well you’ve managed your ammunition. The fight starts with two zombies in the room. You can try to focus your fire on Dr. Hertz, but the bullets just bounce off him.

The trick to beating the boss is to take down his minions. Once you do so, the boss falls on his back for a while, unable to get up. This is your opening to hit him with all you’ve got.

After a while, he will get back up and summon a few more minions. Keep defeating his minions and attacking him in between, and eventually the boss will go down.

Once the boss is beaten, interact with the mirror that opened up to reach the Mass Grave in the real world.
How to Get the Detachable Flashlight

Keep walking across the bone-covered floor and you’ll eventually reach a passage. At the end of the passage, you’ll find the Detachable Flashlight. But it doesn’t have any batteries in it.

Open your inventory, take the Batteries out of the Cassette Player that you found in the previous zone. Then, examine the Detachable Flashlight and click on its battery cover. Install the Batteries.

You can now select the Detachable Flashlight in your inventory and choose Turn On/Off to control the flashlight. Unlike the Lighter that you need to hold up all the time, the Detachable Flashlight allows you to fire your weapons even when there are no light sources around.

Break the two crates in the area to reveal a ladder behind them. Use it to return to the Burial Chamber.
How to Find the Sledgehammer

You’ll arrive in the same area where you saw the cutscene of the nun and Anna. You’ll find another page of Anna’s Sketchbook on the throne. Pick it up.

You’re all done with the zone. So make your way back to the Cemetery Entrance and exit the zone through the door that leads to the Sewer Walkway.

Now that you have the Detachable Flashlight, you can take care of the crab monsters in the area. Head along the walkway and go to the section where you saw some green crates on the right.

Break the crates and head through the passage to spot a hole in the wall. This leads into the Cave.

Keep moving along the passage and you’ll soon run into Joseph again. He’ll tell you that all roads to the School are closed and you have to use the Butcher Shop to get there.

After the conversation, pick up the Sledgehammer lodged into the dead person’s skull. This is an extremely powerful melee weapon that packs a massive punch. The obvious downside is that it has a very slow swing, and it also takes Caroline a while to recover after each attack.

Go through the passage on the other end of the cave to spot another hole that you can crawl through.

On the other side, you’ll see a red-brick wall. Break it down using your new Sledgehammer.

This will take you back out on the walkway. Continue along the path and take the exit to the Backstreets.
