Welcome to the third part of our walkthrough for Tormented Souls 2
In the last part, we managed to break through the creepy barrier in the Lady Chapel and defeated the Iron Maiden to escape the Convent. Now Caroline Walker finds herself in an empty, abandoned town with horror lurking behind every corner.

How to Get the Town Map
The Town is more of a connecting zone than a standalone zone itself. You’re currently in the Commercial District. Continue walking forward and go through the door on the other side of the road.
This takes you to a safe zone called the Call Center.
Save your game, and get back to the Commercial District. Continue heading forward, and you’ll find the Town Map attached to the windows of a newspaper stand on the left. Pick it up.
At this point, you’ll also start to hear the ringing sound of the telephone nearby. But you can’t pick up the call since it’s taped up.
Take a quick look at the map to get your bearings. Our first destination is the Butcher Shop.
How to Get the Mall Staff Entrance Key
Make your way through the Commercial District and head for the door to the Butcher Shop. Check your map to stay on the correct path. The shutter to the shop will be drawn. But you can enter the shop through the small hole
You’ll find a Povidone in the first room on the countertop. Pick it up and head through the door to go further into the shop.
There’s a note on the table in the second room. Just past this, you’ll spot a ladder going down. This will take you to the Butcher Shop Cellar.
In the cellar area, go forward and right, into a narrow passage by the hung-up pigs. You’ll find a body pinned to the wall. Inspect the body to collect the Mall Staff Entrance Key.
You’re done with the area for now. As you head for the stairs to exit the cellar, you’ll get ambushed by a new pig-type monster. Don’t waste your ammo; just run past it and use the ladder to return to the upper floor of the Butcher Shop.
How to Get the Mall Map
With the Mall Staff Entrance Key in your hand, exit the Butcher Shop to return to the main street. Head into the narrow corridor on the other side of the road from the Butcher Shop entrance.
Interact with the door, and use the Mall Staff Entrance Key to unlock it. Go inside to officially enter the Mall. It’s the second main zone in the game.
Head forward and take the first right instead of going up the stairs. There’s an open shop at the end of the path to your left. Unlock the door up ahead to create a shortcut back to the main street before you head into the shop.
You’ll find some Coil Nails (ammo) in the corner of the room. But the most important thing to get here is the Mall Map pinned to the bulletin board. Pick it up and take a look at it to understand the layout of the zone.
How to Get the Instant Photo
After picking up the Mall Map, return to the main area of the Mall and go up the stairs that you saw earlier. You’ll spot a door on our left that leads to a dojo, but it’s locked at the moment.
Follow the path forward and you’ll find a set of stairs leading to another section of the lower floor.
Go down and turn right to spot another shop. This is the Pharmacy. Go inside.
Head through the back door to reach an office. You’ll spot a mini-fridge on a shelf. You’ll have to restore the power to use it.
Walk down the stairs on the left to reach a storage area. There’s a door here. But before you go in, head right. You’ll spot an object on the bench by the sink. Pick it up to collect the Instant Photo.
Check the locker for some Painkillers and then head through the door to reach the Mall Lower Floor.
How to Restore the Power
Head through the dark corridor to find a hole in the wall up ahead. Squeeze through to reach the Video Rental Store.
Make your way through the room. There’s a Recording Tape on your left that you can pick up. As you cross the TVs, they’ll power on.
Continue past the shelves to find another drawn shutter. You can crawl under it to reach another section of the Mall Lower Floor.
You’ll see a man chained to the wall on your left. As soon as you step on the symbol on the ground, the candles around it light up. Inspect the man and then go into the narrow passage on the right.
You’ll spot a broken wall. Go into the next room to enter a kitchen area.
Make your way through the kitchen, and you’ll find yourself in front of the drawn shutters of a shop. This leads to the Hair Salon, which is another safe zone. Go in if you want to save your game. There’s a gate on your right. Open it to unlock a shortcut to the previous area of the Mall Lower Floor.
Continue along the same corridor past the gate to find another half-drawn shutter. This one leads to the Amusement Arcade.
Now that the power is turned on, the arcade machines in the Amusement Arcade are powered. You can only interact with the Claw Machine, but it requires credits to play. Pick up the note on the table to find the Letter to Zacarias.
Read it to learn that the chained man you saw earlier is named Zacarias. And to lift his curse, you need to put a Gold Ring on his finger that’s hidden in a One-Eyed Teddy Bear inside the Claw Machine. Exit the Amusement Arcade.
You’ll spot a door with the danger sign up ahead. Go in through the door.
Keep walking through the room to reach a power panel at the end. Interact with it to restore power to the Mall. Loot the wooden chest nearby for some Nails.
How to Get the Automatic Nailer
With the power restored, make your way back to the main section of the Mall. However, as you reach the door to the power, you’ll get ambushed by two pig monsters. Run back to the room with the power lever, where there’s light to take them down.
From the main corridor, make your way through the shortcut door you unlocked. You’ll see two doors on your left. One has a bloodied chain on the ground in front of it, leading inside. Go in through the other door.
You will find the Automatic Nailer on the ground next to a dead body by the urinal. Pick it up and assign it to a shortcut button if you want to use it. This weapon uses Coil Nails for ammunition and fires multiple shots at the same time, similar to an assault rifle.
Exit the washroom and open the gate on the other side to unlock a shortcut back to the Mall.
How to Get the Dojo Keys
Head back to the Pharmacy and make your way to the mini-fridge that you saw on the office counter.
You can click on the three black dials to move them up or down. These dials change the color of the three square blocks above the letters A, B, and C. To open the mini-fridge, you need to figure out the correct combination of colors.
The solution to this puzzle is on the back side of the Instant Photo you picked up earlier. The Instant Photo shows that A+B makes up the color green, B+C makes up the color orange, and A+C makes up the color Purple.
So the correct answer for the mini-fridge puzzle is: Blue (A), Yellow (B), and Red (C). Click the door of the fridge to open it and pick up the Dojo Key and First Aid Kit from inside.
How to Get the Box Cutter
Make your way to the top floor of the Mall. You’ll have to fight a couple of wall-crawling enemies here.
Interact with the door to the dojo and use the Dojo Key to unlock it. Go inside.
Head to the washroom at the back of the room, and you’ll find the Box Cutter on the floor in the middle of a symbol on the ground. You’ll be ambushed by an enemy after you pick it up. Either kill it or simply run to the lower floor and exit the Mall through the front door.
How to Get the Coins
Once you’re back in the Commercial District, head to the ringing payphone near where you picked up the Town Map.
Use the Box Cutter on the tape to cut it.
Caroline will answer the phone to listen to Anna’s voice. Once the conversation ends, a Coin will drop from the coin slot of the payphone. Pick up the Coins.
How to Get the Gold Ring
Go back into the Mall and head to the Amusement Arcade. Interact with the Claw Machine.
If you’ve read the Letter to Zacarias, you already know that you’re looking for the One-Eyed Teddy Bear. But it can be tough to see which one it actually is. We’ve marked it on the image above.
Insert the Coins into the coin slot of the Claw Machine. Then use the arrows on the machine to move the claw over the One-Eyed Teddy Bear. Press the red button to grab it.
How to Get To the Backstreets
Examine the Teddy Bear in your inventory. Then use the Box Cutter on it to cut it open. You’ll find the Gold Ring inside.
Run back to the Chained Man you saw on the Mall Lower Floor and inspect him. Use the Gold Ring on his finger.
The curse is lifted, and the Chained Man disappears, opening the path ahead. Go through the door to reach the Backstreets. Continue heading forward till you get back on the main road. Take a few steps forward to trigger a cutscene.

To answer the phone, you need to first cut the tape using the Box Cutter. You’ll find the Box Cutter inside the dojo on the second floor of the Mall.

What Do I Have to Do With the Chained Man in Tormented Souls 2?
The Chained Man is a cursed person named Zacarias. You need to lift the curse by putting a Gold Ring on his finger. Doing so allows you to exit the Mall through the back exit and enter the Backstreets part of Town.
