How to Get to The Prison

With the Crown Key now in your possession, head back to the North Corridor 1F and take the elevator down. Make your way towards the Crematorium. You’ll be ambushed by one of the wall-crawling enemies.

Defeat the monster and go through the bars. Instead of turning right to go to the Crematorium, continue heading forward. You’ll reach a locked gate. Use the Crown Key to unlock it. On the other side, you’ll find a red steel door. This takes you to the Prison.
How to Get The Phone Book Page

The Prison is a separate area in the Convent that’s not marked on the map. But don’t worry, the area is pretty short, and once you’re done, you don’t have to return to it again. Head through the two steel gates until you reach a circular chamber with railings in the middle. Loop around the circle, and take the first door on your left.

Head down the stairs to reach another circular area. This chamber has multiple locked cages. There’s a power lever right next to the entrance of the room. Use it to power on the lights. Note the panel with a lever on the steel walkway in the middle.

Loop around the area and go into the open cell at the end. Run in and quickly grab the piece of paper on the trolley to collect the Symbol Paper. You’ll get ambushed by a monster standing at the door.

You can either light the candelabra or run outside to where there’s light to take down the monster. We chose to do the latter.

Once the monster is defeated, inspect the Symbol Paper and flip it over to read the writing on the back.

Return to the first circular area with railings and continue heading right to find another small sub-section.

The door with the “Keep Locked” sign leads to a safe zone. You can find some ammo, a note, and a recording machine inside to save your game.

Interact with the red panel outside the door to the safe zone. Cut the piece of wire using the Pliers in your inventory. This will add the Wire to your inventory.

Open the panel to reveal a series of circuit boxes inside. You can turn the dials left or right to point at one of the two symbols. Set the dials in this pattern from left to right: Right, Left, Left, Left, Right

Return to the second circular room and use the lever on the steel walkway to unlock the jail cells.

Go around the area, opening jail cells and looting the items inside. You’ll find some ammo in one of the cells. Two of these cells will contain monsters that you need to kill. In the jail cell at the end, you’ll spot a piece of paper on the bed. Pick it up to collect the Phone Book Page.
How to Get The Cursed Book

In one of the jail cells, you’ll spot a bed frame without a mattress. Pull it out to reveal a hole in the floor. Interact with the hole to enter The Crypts.

Go through the steel door and continue moving forward. You’ll be able to light a few candelabra along the way. When you reach a corridor, the camera will start to go wonky.

Head to the other end of the corridor and enter the room to spot the Cursed Book on a pedestal.

Interact with the pedestal. Pick up the Cursed Book. Then, place the Holy Bible from your inventory onto the wooden board where the Cursed Book was placed.

Make your way back to the Prison and head out of the area to return to the Basement. A few enemies will spawn along the way, but you can just run past them. The rotating spike pillars at the starting section of the Prison will also activate after you pick up the Cursed Book. Be careful not to get hit by them.

Once outside, return to the Crematorium to trigger another conversation with the NPC. He tells you that you need the tears of a saint to get past the curse blocking the door to the Lady Chapel. He also talks about a statue at the Museum that sometimes cries tears of blood. At the end of the conversation, he gives you the Museum Key.
How To Get to The Museum

With the Museum Key in hand, you can now head out of the Basement and return to the upper floor. Take out your map and take a look at where you have to go. The door to the Museum is near the Cloister’s southern entrance. We’ve marked it in the image above.

Make your way to the southern entrance of the Cloister. You’ll have to fight a few more enemies here.

The area in front of the Museum is dark now. You’ll find the power lever in a corner. Use it to turn the lights on. Then, go down the stairs next to the lever and open the door downstairs to unlock a shortcut back to the Basement corridor near the Workshop.

Go back upstairs and interact with the door to the Museum. You’ll spot three buttons where you can use the Museum Key. Using the key causes the locks on the latch to react in a specific way. To open the door, interact with the switches in this order: middle, left, right. Click the latch once you’re done to open the door and head inside.
How to Get The Jade Ornament

After entering the Museum, walk up and inspect the painting on the wall between the two lamps. Note the lit candles around the mirror inside the painting. This is necessary for a puzzle you’ll encounter later on.

Head down the stairs and go up to the platform with the statue. Inspect the statue.

This is the statue that the NPC in the Crematorium was talking about, which occasionally cries tears of blood. You’ll note that it’s holding a stone scroll in front of its chest.

Back away from the statue, and head down the main stairs at the central section of the room. Loop around the staircase at the bottom to find the Jade Ornament hung up on a wall between the statues of two nuns.
How to Get The Rotary Dial

Return to the front part of the bottom staircase and go down the corridor to find a door. This one will take you to the Torture Museum.

The Torture Museum is filled with torture devices that you can inspect to learn more about them. Head down the small wooden stairs and go into the section with the dangling chains.

You’ll find a Recording Tape on the chair. Unlock the door and walk out. This takes you to another area of the Basement that was previously inaccessible. The Rotary Dial is on the table right next to you. Pick it up.
How to Get the Jade Disk

Now that we have both the Rotary Dial and the Phone Book Page, let’s head back to the Library. Interact with the old telephone near the entrance and install the Rotary Dial on the number plate.

Inspect both sides of the Phone Book Page next. You need to figure out the number you need to dial on the old telephone by looking at the scribblings on both sides.

The correct number is: 3890*. Once you dial it on the telephone, you’ll hear the voice of Anna.

After the short conversation, a nearby painting will move, revealing a hidden compartment. Pick up the item inside to collect the Jade Disk.
How to Get The Plant Sprayer (Empty)

Examine the Jade Ornament in your inventory and flip it over. Install the Jade disk in the empty slot on the bottom right.

The four buttons on the edges of the panel rotate the four discs with lines. Your goal is to rotate the discs so that the image inside forms a complete square.

Once you complete the mechanism, head back to the Calefactory to the door with the weird green lock that you saw earlier.

Inspect the door and use the Jade Ornament on the lock to unlock it. Enter the door to reach the Chapter House.

As you take a few steps in, a demonic barrier will appear on the door, blocking your exit. There are a few ammo and health items in the room that you can pick up, along with a note.

In the dark area of the room, you’ll find an item on a large wooden chair. This is the Plant Sprayer, but it’s empty at the moment. Pick it up.

Head towards the exit. Three monsters will spawn from the hole on the ground in the middle of the room. Take them down to destroy the barrier on the door.
How To Get to the Other Side

Return to the Torture Museum and go to the other end to find a locked gate. Interact with the gate and use the Hammer to break the Padlock.

Enter the room to spot an old mirror with 10 candles attached to its frame. Interact with it.

You need to light up 5 candles. The clue is in the picture you saw at the Museum. The image above shows you the candles that you need to light to solve the puzzle.

This triggers a cutscene, and the mirror turns into a portal. This is your entry way to the Other Side, a dark and twisted version of the real world.
How to Get The Ornate Stone Heart

Once you arrive at the Torture Museum(Other Side), walk up the stairs and interact with the torture device up ahead. Interact with the handle to pull the straw figure and cut it in half.

Take the stairs on the right first. You’ll get attacked by an enemy. Take it down and continue heading forward. Follow the corridor to encounter another enemy.

This area has two more mirror portals, but one of them is blocked off.

Use the other mirror portal, found in a narrow corridor, to return to another location in the Museum in the real world that’s not accessible from the Convent.

Go forward, into a small chamber, and light up the candelabra by the entrance. Whip out your Shotgun and take out the three monsters up ahead.

Continue forward to spot a bull statue. Interact with it and open the hatch in its belly.

Pick up the item inside to collect the Ornate Stone Heart.

Before you leave the area, there’s another corridor in the area that leads to a lever. Use the lever to unlock a shortcut connecting to the main area of the Tortured Museum.
Interact with the torture device that you used in the Other Side to cut the straw figure. You’ll spot a Metal Pipe stuck in the body. Pick it up.

Examine your Shotgun in your inventory and use the Metal Pipe in one of its empty barrel slots. This will convert the weapon into a Double-Barreled Shotgun that can fire two rounds before having to reload.
How to Get To The Lady Chapel

Return to the area of the Torture Museum (Other Side) where you used the torture device, and head up the stairs on the opposite end. You’ll spot a door. This takes you to the Museum (Other Side).

Head up along the corridor. The Iron Maiden on the side will shoot out its spike if you stand in front of it for too long.

This is a pretty dark area, so use your Lighter to progress. Head up the stairs in the central section. You’ll get ambushed by an enemy. Take it down.

Go up the stairs, and you’ll spot the Other Side’s version of the saint’s statue that you saw earlier. Interact with it.

Use your Lighter to burn the thin paper scroll that it’s holding. You’re done with the Other Side for now. Return to the real world by heading through the mirror that you used to get here.

With that done, return to the saint’s statue in the real world and inspect it. You’ll see that the stone scroll it was holding has disappeared. Place the Ornate Stone Heart in the empty cavity on its chest. The bowl in front of the statue will fill up with blood. Use your Plant Sprayer with the bowl of blood to fill it up.

Head back to the entrance of the Lady Chapel. We strongly recommend saving your game before you do so. Examine the Plant Sprayer in your inventory and click on the top pump to pressurize it.

Use the Plant Sprayer on the three barriers to remove them one at a time. Enter through the door to trigger your first boss battle in the game.
How to Beat The Iron Maiden

Once you enter the Lady Chapel, you’ll trigger a cutscene. This cutscene is, in fact, a hint of how to defeat the boss that you’re about to face.

After the cutscene, make sure you get some distance between you and the boss. Fire a few shots with your Shotgun or Nailer, but your primary focus should be to dodge its attacks.

There are two tied-up bodies at opposite ends of the room. Examine both of them and you’ll spot a Dagger lodged in their chest. Pick them up as early as possible. You can’t defeat the boss without them.

After firing a few shots at the boss, it goes down on its knees and opens its helmet. Run up to the boss and interact with it.
Then use the Dagger from your inventory and stab its eyes. You need to do this twice to kill the boss.
How to Find the Compressed Air Canister (Small) – Optional

After defeating the boss, a cutscene will trigger. Once it ends, explore the chapel to find a set of stairs leading to the upper floor. Go up and head through the door in the middle of the upper floor to enter the Library.

Pull out your Lighter and continue heading down the corridor to reach a storage area. You’ll find the Compressed Air Canister (Small) in a table in this area. Open the door before you leave to unlock a shortcut back to the main Library area.
How to Get To the Town

Return to the Lady Chapel and head through the large wooden door on the side of the lower floor. This takes you outside.

There’s not much to do here apart from picking up a health item (Povidone) and a note. Continue following the path, and you’ll eventually make it to the Commercial District part of the Town.
