The Millers Storage

As the chapter begins, go forward and use the save point to save your game. There are a few throwables on the table that you can pick up.

There’s a Lead Pipe on the door up ahead. Pick up the Pipe to open the door.

As you move along the corridor, you’ll find a monster standing by a burning barrel. You can sneak up on him for a charged attack.

Keep moving forward. You’ll drop down to another area. Pick up the Glas Shiv on the table up ahead.

You’ll face three more monsters in the room up ahead.

Continue along to reach a courtyard area filled with candles. There are three paths from here. The left path leads to a dead end.

Go forward first to reach another save point. Save your game and pick up the crafting items inside. You’ll find a Craft Blueprint for Glass Shiv and Metal Shiv on the barrel here. Use the Crafting Bench in the room if you want to create some weapons for yourself.

Then return to the courtyard and break the wooden beams to go in through the path on the right.

In the next room, you’ll spot a narrow corridor that leads to a shutter. This leads to the surface, but to open the shutter, you need the Blue Block Key.

Head left and loot items on the shelf. Continue forward to encounter a few more enemies.

Past the enemies, you’ll come across a fork. The right path leads to a dead end. So head left.

Use the save point to save your game and continue forward to face three more enemies.

Go forward and right. Defeat the monster that ambushes you. Then head to the small passage where the monster came out of to find another Craft Blueprint and a Broken Knife.

Back out of the section to spot some wooden beams blocking the path forward. You’ll find a map for the Utility Tunnels on your right. Break the wooden beams and continue moving.
The Utility Tunnels

You’ll reach a room with a few more enemies for you to fight. Take them down.

There’s a steel gate in the room that you can open. This unlocks a shortcut back to the courtyard area from earlier.

You’ll also spot a locked switch along with some Shotgun Shells on the ground if you go through the shortcut gate. This requires the Miller’s Key to access.

Return to the room where you just fought the monsters and move along the corridor. You’ll get jumped by an enemy as you make your way through. Take it down.

You’ll find the Journal: Letter from Alistar on a shelf up ahead, along with a Wrench and some handy items.

As you enter the narrow passage, you’ll be ambushed by a Nightmare.

Just past the enemy is a save point and a Crafting Bench.
Garbage Disposal

After saving your game, continue along the path. You’ll spot a Scissor on the shelf on your left as you enter the next room.

You’ll get ambushed by some more monsters up ahead. Defeat them and continue along the passage.

Another enemy will ambush you. Defeat it and break the crate on your right. You’ll find a Wood Glue and a Pickaxe Head inside the room.

Head into the jail cell on the left up ahead. You’ll find the Journal: Garbage, along with some other health items.

Follow the passage to the end to reach a fork. Go forward to find a Blue Compound and a steel gate. Then come back to the fork and go right.

Take the first right down the tunnel to spot another Crafting Bench. Return to the location shown in the image above and go forward. There’s a hole here that you can drop through to enter the Garbage Disposal tunnels.

This tunnel can be tricky to navigate. Also, you’ll constantly be attacked by Spiders as you progress. Defeat the first set of spiders and continue down the passage on your right.

In the next section, take the door shown in the image above. You’ll have to defeat a few more monsters.

You’ll find a switch here that you can pull. Then stick to the left path from here to reach a room where you’ll find the Millers Key along with a crafting blueprint for the Sledgehammer. This is entirely optional, but still worth picking up.

Return to the area where you dropped and go left. You’ll find some Army Rations on the table on your right in the room. Pick it up, then head left. You’ll drop down another hole.

Move along the passage and defeat a Spider monster to reach a crate. Break it using your Pickaxe. Then pull the switch just past this point to open the shutter.

Continue forward to reach a fork. Go right.

You’ll get ambushed as you take a few steps forward. Defeat the monster and turn left. You’ll spot a piece of wood that you can break to reveal a hidden path.

Follow this path to find a crafting blueprint for Hookshiv and a Gas Cooker for cooking food. Open the steel gate here.

Defeat the enemies and pull the switch up ahead to open the shutter. Follow the path to reach a room where you get ambushed by two Brutes.

There are two paths from here. The right path leads to a shortcut gate to the Crafting Bench. The left path leads to outside towards the Graveyard. Go to the Crafting Bench if you have to. Otherwise, go up the left path.

You’ll see a steel gate on your right that requires the Blue Block Key. Keep following the passage to find a save point along with a Red and Green Compound.
The Graveyard (Outer Area)

From the last save point, keep moving forward till you reach an outside area. Head toward the chair up ahead to find a Cassette Tape. Pick it up.

Then continue following the path till you find a switch. Use it to open the shutter and head through.

You’ll reach a section where the path splits off. The left area is entirely optional, but gives you an weapon that’s very useful. So let’s go left first.

From the stairs take a look toward the Graveyard. You’ll be running straight for the points marked in the image above. As you enter the area, you’ll be attacked by a Screamer. These are invisible enemies that deal massive damage. But as long as you dash straight for these two spots, you should be fine.

You’ll find a crafting blueprint for The Splitter and the PO8 Pistol in these two locations. Once you pick them up, return to the entrance of the area and go up the stairs. The Screamer won’t chase you.

Return to where the path split off and go right this time. We’re heading for the Storage Room next. Stay on the path till you reach a steel gate.

Open the gate and pick up the Barbed Wire from the table on the right. Then go down the stairs.

Keep walking along the corridor (don’t drop down) till you reach a save point. Save your game and pick up the Blue Block Key.
The Graveyard (Inner Area)

Now that we have the key, we can head back to the door from earlier. But before we do that, backtrack a bit and drop down the broken walkway.

This will take you to an area filled with tombstones. You’ll spot the symbol shown in the image above in one of the tombstones. This is important.

In the central section of the area, you’ll find some three Ornamental Poles. You can turn the handle at the base of each poleto rotate them. This will change the shape cast on the screen in front of the room.

Pick up the Ornamental Metal Head and Metal Ornament Pole. Then head through the door on the left side of the room.

As you walk along the passage, you’ll find a Rusty Cog propper up against a wall. Pick it up.

Break the wooden beams up ahead and head left through the door to find a Crafting Bench. There’s an Ornament Tape on the ground near the door. Pick it up and then interact with the Crafting Bench.

Combine all the pieces to create the Metal Ornament. Then return to the room with the all the poles and place it at the empty slot in the front.

Interact with the gears to insert the Rusty Cog in the missing slot.

Use the switches and the handles on the poles to rotate the symbol so that it creates the shape shown in the image above. This will unlock the gate on the left. Go through it to find the stairs to go back up to the save point where you found the key.
How to Find The Shotgun

Run back to the entrance of the Graveyard. Now that you have the key, you can unlock the door shown in the image above.. You’ll have to fight through a bunch of monsters to get here. But the path is pretty straightforward.

Run along the passage and head left, past the Nightmare. Continue forward, and turn right to face two more Brutes. There’s also a Spider behind you.

Head into the room where the Brutes came from and pull the switch on the left to open the shutter and unlock a shortcut. You can use this shortcut to make your way back to the Millers Storage to unlock the gate that you found earlier.

Inside you’ll find the Shotgun on a table along with a couple of other useful items. Pick them up.

Now make your way back to the area where you fought the Spider and head through the gate. Pull the switch to open the shutter and head inside.
The Blue Block

Defeat the two Brutes that ambush you as you open the shutter.

Keep moving along the path and you’ll reach a fork. Another Brute will attack you from the right. Take it down.

Then take the left path. Keep moving forward and defeating the monsters as you go. Look for Blue Block signs and follow them to eventually make it to the shutter shown in the above image. Pull the switch to open it and head inside.

Move along the passage and turn right to reach a room with red lights. Use the Save Point to save your game.
How to Reach the Surface Area

Head thorugh the open door on the right. You’ll find some items on the table on your right. Pick them up.

Go toward the area with steam coming out of the pipes. There’s a valve right next to you that you can use to turn off the steam.

Note the writing on the wall. This is your clue to dealing with the monster that’s waiting for you up ahead.

Take a few steps forward and turn left immidiately. You’ll suddenly get affected by the Panic status effect. Don’t worry, this just means you can’t sprint.
You’ll notice a monster standing oddly still. As long as you keep your eyes on her, she won’t move. However, as soon as you look away, she’ll start walking towards you. If she gets close enough, she’ll explode killing you instantly. And no, you can’t kill her. The next part will require some careful movement on your part.

Your way forward is through the shutter behind the monster. However you’ll need to find a key to unlock it. While looking at the monster, head right. There’s a door here. Make your way to the end while staring at the monster.

From this position turn right and quickly sprint toward the crate. Break it using your weapon and then run as far as you can. Look back immidiately so that the monster can’t catch up to you.

Head right and immidiately turn left into the small chamber with a pillar in the middle. Look back so that the monster can’t reach you. There’s a key on the table that you have to pick up. This is the Surface Gate Key.

Go as far into the room while keeping an eye on the monster as possible. Then go right and loop around the monster. Make sure to look back.

From this point, make your way back to the area where you saw the monster.

There’s a path on the left that you can go through. Unlock the gate using and head inside.

Then quickly pull the switch and look back immidately afterward.

Unlock the gate on the left and loop back around to the room where you saw the monster the first time. The shutter that was locked earlier is now open. Head through it quickly and pull the switch.

Continue along the path to find a save point.

The path on the left leads to a shortcut. Take the other path and follow it to the end to find an Elevator. Head inside and interact with the panel to complete the chapter.
