The Highest Point

As you start the chapter, the save point will be on your left and a Crafting Bench on your right.

Head straight ahead towards the structure. You’ll find a Journal: Lease on the railing on your right. Pick it up.

Go back down the steps and head towards the lamp post on the left.

Follow the path to find a set of stairs leading down. This is your main path.
How to Find the Miner’s Armor (Optional)

In this area, there are four wind vanes spread out in the environment that you can shoot with your Pistol. They are pretty hard to see, but if you manage to shoot all four, you can get a powerful Armor.

From the base of the steps leading towards the structures, look up, and you’ll spot the first wind vane.

Take a few steps back and turn right to spot the second one.

From this spot, do a 360-degree turn to spot the third one.

Get to the stairs at the end of the area to spot the final one.

Head across the bridge to find the Miner’s Armor. Pick it up and return to the main path.

Go down the stairs and open the door on the right.

When you drop down and move forward, you’ll face a tough enemy up ahead.

You can fight it if you want. Or you could just run past him through the gate behind him.

Keep running to spot an elevator. Go inside and use the panel to head to the lower levels.

After exiting the elevator, continue forward to find the next save point.

Take a few steps back from the save point and turn left to find some wooden beams. Break them and head through.

At the end of the corridor, you’ll come across a fork. Go right.

Go down the slope, and on your right, you’ll see a room with some writing on the wall.

Head left and enter the room at the end. Take the monster down and pick up the Tunnel Key from the table.

Return to the fork and take the other path this time. You’ll have to fight a few more Brutes along the way.

Use the Tunnel Key to access the switch and open the shutter.

Continue forward till you find the next save point.
Coastline

Head through the door straight ahead to see a bridge in the distance breaking down. The mysterious voice will tell you that you need to make your way through the forest.

This area is filled with those invisible monsters you found in the previous chapters. You can toss any throwable at them to make them explode. Alternatively, the Harpoon Gun is excellent at taking them down.
After taking care of the monsters, take the path on the far left side of the section. We’ve marked the path in the above image.

There’ll be some more monsters for you to fight up ahead.

After taking down the first group, take a U-turn to find another path. There’s another enemy here that you need to take down.

Keep moving forward, fighting the monsters as you go.

You’ll find a bridge with some invisible monsters. This leads to a Harpoon Gun, but if you already have it, there’s no point fighting them.

Instead, continue on the main path along the right and drop down.

As you enter through the gates, you’ll spot a Glare. Take it down.

Continue along the path, and you’ll hear the mysterious voice call out to you again. He’ll mention the Library, but to enter it, you’ll first have to find two keys.

You’ll find the save point for this area up ahead, along with a Crafting Bench. This area is called the Intersection.
Finding The First Library Key

From the save point, head left. Go down the stairs and straight ahead, and take down the Nightmare coming from the left.

Follow this path and fight a Brute up ahead.

Go right and drop down the steel walkway to the wooden floor below from the right.

Continue along the narrow path on the right. There’s a Brute waiting for you around the corner. Take it down.

You’ll reach a large room with a bunch of monsters for you to fight.

After taking them down. Take the stairs on the left side of the room to unlock a shortcut back to the upper section.

Then return to the previous area and follow the path with the pipes.

You’ll have to cross a narrow bridge up ahead. Go to the other side and hug the ledge on the left to keep moving.

This leads you to an area with two Spiders. Take them down and then use the save point up ahead.

Use the elevator next to the save point to reach the next section.

The elevator takes you to an underground area. Go out and head right. You’ll spot a path up ahead.

This leads you to some more Spiders. Take them down.

Go forward, and you’ll spot a few more Spiders in a narrow corridor on your left.

Head through the corridor. Unlock the gate on your left for a shortcut.

Then move forward across the wooden planks. Use your throwables to get rid of the exploding invisible monsters standing on the path.

Make your way all the way to the top and head towards the altar at the end. You’ll find the Wheel Key here. Pick it up. Then return all the way to the Intersection save point.

You’ll have to fight a few new monsters along the way, but the path is pretty much the same.
Heading to the Underhalls

From the save point, head up the stairs.

You’ll get ambushed by a Nightmare. Take it down. Then head through the gate up ahead.

From the first fork inside the building, head right and through the door on the left.

This takes you to a room with a couple of Spiders. Take them down.

Then go down the ramp and take the stone corridor all the way to the end.

This takes you to the forest. This area is filled with Spiders. Fight them off as you progress.

You’ll eventually reach a closed shutter. Use the switch to open it and take down the two Spiders on the other side.

Stay on the path and keep moving forward. There’ll be a bunch of Dogs up ahead.

Take them down and continue progressing till you reach a door. Head inside to find the next save point. This is the Underhalls.
Finding the Second Library Key

Go forward to find a drop-down up ahead. Note the fan spinning on the wall on your left. This will blow out your Lighter if you’re using it. Keep this in mind for the coming section.

Keep walking, and soon the light in the area will go out. You’ll want to pull out your Lighter at this point.

There’s a closed shutter up ahead. Next to it, you can see red light coming through the grill. Remember this spot.

Up ahead, you’ll spot another closed shutter on your right with the word Exit written on it.

Continue along the path and enter the altar that comes up on your right. The narrator will tell you that the Key is fractured, but the fragments can be found in this zone. Note the Crafting Bench in the area.
Opening the Shutters

Turn around and head right along the path.

Run through the dark corridors till you spot a fork. You can see a red glow up ahead. Go toward it. The light will go out because of the fan. But if you’re crouched, you can make it past the fan without the Lighter going out.

Continue along the path, and the light will go out again. Quickly light up your Lighter. You’ll spot a bunch of monsters rushing towards you, walking along the ceiling. As long as you have your Lighter out, they can’t attack you. However, if the light goes out for any reason, they’ll rush at you to attack.

Move forward, and you’ll spot some light coming from a vent. Go into the vent.

Exit the vent from the other side and continue moving forward along the corridor. Crouch down to get across the monsters up ahead. You’ll spot the Security Key on the console on your right. Pick it up.

Go left from this point till you reach a closed shutter. Use the switch on the right to open it.

You can spot another switch at the far end of the room. Head toward it.

Use the Security Key to open the lock and use the Switch to open the shutters in the zone.
Finding the First Key Fragment

Go right and take another right to get back on the main path.

Head straight ahead towards the red light to spot an open shutter that you can head through.

Stay on this path and keep moving. There’ll be some pipes up ahead that blow out fumes that can turn your Lighter off. Wait for them to stop blowing before you move.

Up ahead, you’ll reach a narrow corridor with a fan blowing from the left. Crouch down to pass by it with your Lighter safely.

Go to the end of the corridor to spot the first Key Fragment lodged into a growth on the wall. Pick it up.

Backtrack all the way to the start of the shutter. Then make your way back to the altar with the Crafting Bench. This is a safe zone.
Finding the Second Key Fragment

From the altar, head left this time. Continue moving till you spot another open shutter.

This takes you to a broken steel walkway. The pipe on the left will blow fumes.

Make your way forward, then loop around to the right side of the walkway to reach a wooden bridge.

Follow the bridge while avoiding the fumes to make it to the other side.

Then cross the long corridor, again, while avoiding the fumes from the pipes.

You’ll find the second Key Fragment on a table at the end of the corridor.

With both Key Fragments in your possession, make your way back to the altar. Use the Crafting Bench to create the Knot Key.

Doing so will turn the lights on in the facility. Head out of the altar and go left to spot a new path. Head through it to return to the Intersection area.
The Library

From the Intersection save point, go all the way up using the stairs to reach the entrance to the Library.

Place the two Keys in your hand into the empty slots. This will open the door to the Library, and you can head inside.

Keep moving along the narrow corridor till you make it to a large room. You’ll find a save point on your right. Use it. Then check the panel up ahead.

This is the start of the final puzzle of this chapter. There are five Name Plates in front of you that you can interact with to choose which name is active at each panel. Under each Name Plate, there’s a distinct symbol. The sixth Name Plate is missing.

On the left side of the panel, you’ll find a Journal. Pick it up to see that it’s a poem. But each line has a unique symbol, similar to the symbols under the Name Plates. To solve this puzzle, you need to figure out the correct order of the Names to set up in the panel.

On your left, you’ll spot a narrow corridor leading deeper into the Library.

Follow it to the end, and you’ll spot the door on your right. There’s a huge monster roaming the area beyond this door. You can’t kill it, so your only option is to run away from it if it chases you. Thankfully, it’s pretty slow and won’t follow you as long as you get inside a room with a ceiling.

Head through the door and keep walking while hugging the right side of the area. You’ll spot a room with light inside it. Check the symbol above the entrance before you head inside.

You’ll spot a book on the table at the end of the room. So now you know which symbol refers to the name in the book. You’ll have to keep note of any name and symbol you see in this zone.

Exit the room and continue along the right side of the zone. If the monster spots you, head back inside the room and wait for it to go away.

You’ll reach a safe area with a roof. Continue forward beyond this point.

Take a left when you reach a fork and follow the path till you reach another safe point.

From here, keep heading right, and you’ll soon reach another room. This room has a shortcut leading back to the chamber with the panel. Activate the shortcut and save your progress from back in the panel room if you want.

Exit the room and head straight ahead. Keep following the path till you spot a small area where you can hide from the monster on the left.

When the monster goes away, keep following the path to make it to the next room. There’s another shortcut here that you can unlock to return to the room with the panel.

Retrace your steps, and you’ll find a path going right, next to two signs. Head through it.

From here, you’ll have to keep running, across a wooden bridge, into a safe zone up ahead.

Once the monster goes away, get back on the bridge and continue following the path. Use the safe zone up ahead if you have to; otherwise, keep moving.

You’ll spot a white light in the distance. Go to it.

Pull the switch on the wall and pick up the Name Plate from the ground. This will unlock a shortcut back to the panel chamber of the library.

Insert the final Name into the panel and set up the Name Plates in this order.
Rowell | Adle | Mathos | Roca | Elena | Rytle

This will trigger a cutscene. When it ends, interact with the gate up the stairs to complete the chapter.
