Welcome to the final part of our walkthrough for Total Chaos.
The Hazmat Suit‘s protection allowed you to traverse the gap, and the path to the mines is just up ahead. But it’s still too soon to let your guard down. You’ll face dangers unlike any you’ve faced till now as you race towards the conclusion of your journey, for better or for worse.

Reaching The Central Chamber

The chapter starts with you looking straight at the entrance of the mine. Start moving forward and follow the path through the mine.

You’ll spot an elevator at the end of the tunnel. Get in and activate the elevator to head down.

Keep moving forward till you reach a fork. The path on the right leads to a dead end. So continue left.

You’ll reach a large chamber. You’ll spot three Fuse Slots on the right side wall next to a locked gate.

There’s another path heading left. Go around the mine carts and continue along the path.

This will take you to a steel gate. Head inside it and loot the shelves. You now have a Revolver and a Double-Barrel Shotgun, along with plenty of ammo and healing items. You’ll also find three Fuses inside.

Equip the items to your quickslot and retrace your steps to the wall with the Fuse Slots. Insert the Fuses and open the gate. Pick up the three Fuses before you head in. You might need it later.

Head through the gate and continue moving. Head up the wooden path to enter another area.

You’ll find the first save point here. Save your progress and drop down to the lower floor.

From here, continue moving forward. You’ll spot some green flares on the ground.

This leads into a tunnel. You’ll drop down to a large room with a red glow. You can spot a shadow of a person up ahead. Head towards him.

The lights will go out for a second. When it comes back on, you’ll get ambushed by swarms of enemies from all sides. Take them down.

Once the fight is over, you’ll see a path with a white light. If you didn’t meet the prerequisites for the True Ending, you’ll see some Forgotten Ones standing here, blocking your path.

Take down the Forgotten Ones and pull the switch to open the shutter. There will be two more enemies on the other side for you to fight.

Continue forward to find the next save point. Pick up the Journal: Switch Order pinned to the gate. This is a clue for the puzzle that you need to solve in the next section. The Central Chamber of the mine lies just past the gate.
Activating The Switches in the Central Chamber

Open the gate and go forward. You’ll spot the path on the right blocked by some Forgotten Ones. This leads to the Central Chamber.

Instead of heading towards the Forgotten Ones, continue left, along the path you’re on. There are two Nightmares, one straight ahead, and one coming from the left when you move towards the door. Take them down.

Open the door and head inside to fight a few more monsters.

Continue moving through the building, fighting off monsters as you go. You’ll eventually reach a room with a switch.

As you enter the room, the shutters will open, spawning more monsters for you to take down.

Once they are defeated, use the save point in the room. Then pull the switch next to the shutter to open the way to the Central Chamber of the mine.

You’ll also find a switch here next to the Om sign on the wall. DON’T USE IT. This is the Third Switch that you’ll have to pull.

As soon as you exit the building through the shutter you opened, you’ll spot a wave of enemies charging at you. Take them down.

Take some time to explore the area. On the right side of the Central Chamber, you’ll spot another switch with the Omega symbol painted next to it. Don’t use it just yet. Instead, head through the tunnel marked in the image above.

At the end of the tunnel, you’ll see another room below with some Forgotten Ones standing there.

As soon as you drop down, a guantlet will trigger. Defeat the enemies.

Once you’ve taken care of the enemies, head down the ramp in the middle of the room and go down the tunnel.

Take down the three Forgotten Ones and walk to the end of the tunnel to find another switch with a Ship Wheel symbol next to it.

Go back to the main section of the room and take the left exit. You’ll have to fight another enemy up ahead.

The tunnel where the enemy came from leads back to the Central Chamber.

Take the stairs to fight some more Forgotten Ones.

Continue forward to reach the control room. You’ll find the final switch here, next to the Sword symbol.
The Correct Switch Order

Now that you’ve pinned down the location of all four switches, activate them in the order below:
Ship Wheel | Om | Sword | Omega
Once all four switches are activated, head toward the panel near the Om switch building. You’ll find another switch here.

Activate it to trigger a cutscene.

When the cutscene ends, you’ll find yourself transported to a different place. This is the start of the Epilogue.
Epilogue: The Labyrinth

Use the save point on the ground up ahead and continue down the long passage. Head all the way to the end and turn right.

Go to the far end of the corridor and turn right again.

As you walk to the end of the corridor, you’ll spot a large figure slowly gliding along the path. Hide in one of the areas on the side of the passage and wait for the figure to pass by.

Once the figure moves away, continue along the path and head right, through the steel gate to enter a small corridor.

Run to the end of the corridor, and you’ll see another figure gliding across to the left.

Exit the corridor and follow it. You’ll spot a path on the left up ahead. Continue along the path till you spot another narrow corridor on your left. If you see blood slowly rising from the ground, you’ve come to the right place.

Continue down the corridor and drop through the hole to escape the Labyrinth.
Epilogue: The Gauntlet

After dropping down, you’ll spot a Shotgun along with some Shells on the ground. Pick them up.

Then continue down the passage. You’ll reach a room with shutters on both sides.

As you head inside, the shutters will open, spawning a group of enemies for you to fight.

Take them down and use the switch to trigger another group of enemies to spawn behind the center wall.

You’ll find another switch after defeating the enemies. Activate it to fight another wave of monsters.

Once they are defeated, head towards the room where you found the Shotgun. You’ll see that a new path has opened up for you.

Continue along the steel walkway.

You’ll have to fight a few more enemies. But there’s a save point just beyond them.

From the save point, continue forward to spot a large figure sitting in despair. Don’t worry, it won’t attack you.

Continue along the path, and a few more enemies will spawn.

Take them down and continue along the path through a tunnel. You’ll find some Scientific Medkits on the ground. Use them to heal up if you’re low on health.

Continue moving forward, and you’ll drop down to another room. There’s a closed shutter in front of you. Head towards it.

Defeat the monsters that spawn from the two sides.

Once you’ve dealt with the enemies, pull the two switches on the two sides of the room to open the middle shutter.

A few more enemies will spawn.

As you fight them, the voice screams out, “Enough,” and you get teleported to a different location.

Continue along the passage. You’ll reach a place with a Pickaxe lodged into the wall. Pick it up.

Keep moving forward till you reach the next save point.
Epilogue: The Final Battle

Continue forward and drop down into the arena below. Tyler will spawn in the room as soon as you step forward. The first fight against Tyler is actually pretty easy.

You want to equip your Pickaxe and some throwables. Throw a throwable at the boss to stun him for a few seconds.

You can also parry his attacks. Keep hitting him when he’s kneeling, and he’ll go down.

But this was only the first phase of the fight. As you get transported to a different place, continue moving forward.

You’ll reach a bridge with Forgotten Ones all around you. Walk to the end of the bridge to find a Revolver.

As you enter the door, you find yourself in a snowy forest. Walk forward and pick up the Upgraded Small Axe from the tree trunk.

You’ll also find a save point just past this point. Save your progress.

Continue forward, and you’ll be able to drop off in a new area. This is the start of the final phase of the boss fight. Make sure you’ve got your quick slots sorted out before you start the fight.
How to Defeat Tyler

After you drop down to the boss arena, Tyler will walk in from the opposite direction. The first segment of the fight is pretty much the same as before.
Keep circling him and hitting him till he goes down.

However, once he goes down, the boss will spawn some triees from his face. The trees will chase you and try to stomp you.
Use your Revolver to shoot the yellow targets on the trees to break them. Once you break all the yellow targets, the trees will disappear.

You have to fight Tyler again, but this time there will be a bunch of Forgotten Ones attacking you at the same time. When you get his health down, he’ll spawn trees once again. The steps are the same as before.

The third time he spawns trees, you won’t see any yellow targets on the trees. Instead, it will be on Tyler’s face as he moves around the forest. The trees will also be a lot more aggressive this time.
Use your Revolver to shoot Tyler’s face a couple of times while avoiding the trees to defeat the boss.

After defeating Tyler, head toward the door at the end of the arena.

Run to the end of the corridor to see a scene. We’ll leave the rest for you to see for yourself.
