Trails In The Sky: 2nd Chapter – Walkthrough Chapter 7

Trails In The Sky: 2nd Chapter Walkthrough

Trails In The Sky: 2nd Chapter focuses on Estelle Bright’s story as she’s forced to deal with the evil Society who call themselves the Ouroborus. After reuniting with Joshua, there’s still a lot to uncover about the Society’s plans. Estelle will have to work with her fellow Bracers and friends and challenge the Enforcers who are trying to spread chaos in Liberl.

The Tetracyclic Towers

After you reunite with Joshua, Estelle and her party will board Arseille. Each of the four towers has become unstable and surrounded by monsters. Signs of an Enforcer also appear on each tower.

Before you can disembark from Arseille on the first tower, you should head to the lowest floor and access the Orbal Factory for upgrades. Once you’re done with the Orbal Shop, talk to Fey. She’ll drop the elevator down so you can access the tower.

Esmelas Tower

As you step into the tower, you’ll be teleported into another dimension. Each of the towers has multiple levels, and the higher levels can have multiple floors in them.

You’ll have to navigate the tower by going through these glowing platforms, which will teleport you to the next level or floor.

On the 4th Level, you’ll find several blue markers on the minimap. If you approach them, you’ll find certain data crystals.

Obtaining them isn’t necessary, but you’ll be passing through these paths anyway, so picking them up is a better choice, as they’re useful for lore.

Once you reach the top floor, you’ll have to face Blueblanc, the Phantom Thief. As the battle begins, Blueblanc will summon two Balancing Clown enemies.

He’ll also turn your party members into lamb-like creatures. You can escape this debuff by using overdrive mode.

As the battle goes on, Blueblanc will create multiple copies of himself. You should try to get rid of them as quickly as possible using attacks that affect the entire arena.

Blueblanc’s S-Break deals heavy damage to a single character, but you can avoid it using Earth Wall or an Invulnerability shield.

After you’ve defeated Blueblanc, the party will immediately return to Arsielle and depart for the next tower.

Carnelia Tower

For Carnelia Tower, you’ll have to keep Zin in your party. Like Esmales, you’ll have to traverse the tower in another dimension.

You can also find up to four data crystals on this tower as well. The upcoming battles are quite tough, so you should try to level up in the tower before heading to the top.

At the top of the tower, you’ll find Walter. Walter will summon two Steel Cougar enemies to fight alongside him. These enemies can survive a fatal attack, so you’ll have to deal them one more blow to finish them off.

Walter himself is quite a challenge. The invulnerability shield doesn’t work against some of Walter’s attacks, so you’ll have to rely on healing and revive any fallen characters as soon as possible.

One strategy is to use Zin to cast taunt on Walter and the rest of the enemies early on, and Sylphian Wing is also quite useful as it raises your evasion rate.

After you’ve defeated Walter, you’ll be able to return to Arseille and head to the next destination.

Sapphirl Tower

For Sapphirl Tower, you’ll have to put Scherazard in your party. Unlike the previous two towers, as you progress, you’ll encounter a data crystal pedestal on the way to the top.

As you approach these data crystal pedestals, you’ll have to fight a group of enemies.

Keep going straight in the tower, and you’ll eventually reach Luciola at the top. As the battle begins against Luciola, she’ll summon two large fog monsters and several smaller ones, similar to the battle at Mistwald.

One of the two large fog monsters, Jubokko, can only be harmed by Arts, while Zaqqum can only take damage from Crafts. You also have to worry about Luciola because she can create a clone. If you deal damage to a clone, one of your team members will take significant damage.

Confusion status effect is a big problem in the battle, as the smaller fog monster can easily inflict this status effect. You’ll have to equip accessories that provide resistance or immunity to these status effects.

Once you’ve defeated Lucolia, you’ll be able to head to the final tower.

Amberl Tower

The Amberl Tower is the final tower and is quite similar to the first two towers, as you’ll have to thoroughly explore the other dimension to find a way to the top.

The data crystals in this tower are also optional, and there are a ton of treasure chests that you can find here.

At the top of Amberl Tower, you’ll find Renne. Unlike the other Enforcers, Renne immediately unleashes her S-Break as the battle begins.

Renne hits very hard, and you should bring Kloe in your party for the extra heals and revives. Invulnerability doesn’t work with some of her special skills, and she can also inflict All Cancel to remove your buffs.

If you want to fight here, you’ll have to get rid of the bots as soon as possible. Spread out your team a little in the arena so you don’t get hit by some of her skills.

Make sure you have lots of revives and healing items in your inventory. Use Kloe’s ultimate very wisely because getting Combat Points with her is quite challenging.

Once you’ve defeated Renne, you’ll have to battle against Pater-Mater, the giant Archiasm. It is quite slow, so moves that can enforce delay work well in this battle. All of the characters will have their HP and EP restored after you fight against Renne.

Make sure you cast Earth Wall frequently for the shield. When the boss buffs itself in Rage Mode, use Anti-Sept to dispel.

After the battle, the chapter will end shortly as Professor Weissman manages to succeed in his plans.
