Welcome to part 4 of Into Indie Games’ walkthrough for Tukoni: Forest Keeper.
After following the delicious smell, we find the She-Bear hard at work getting everything together for the coming party. So we decide to give her a hand and get everything sorted.

The She-Bear and the Maybug
After the starting cutscene, talk to the Maybug sitting on the tree. They are playing with a Paddle Toy.
To get the Paddle Toy, you’ll have to find a Yo-Yo for them.
Head right and near the picnic table, you’ll find the She-Bear with their basket of apples. Talk to them, and they’ll ask for five items.
- A Grinder
- A Strainer
- A Mortar
- A Dough Bowl
- Baking Ingredients
It’s up to you to find them all.
Head right, past the She-Bear. You’ll find a Grinder on the bench. Pick it up. Unfortunately, it’s missing the Handle.
When you’re ready, head inside the She-Bear’s Hut.
Inside the She-Bear’s Hut
After entering the hut, you’ll see a Strainer on the top shelf. You can’t reach it. Pick up the Cookie Jar from the table.
In the basket of apples, you’ll find a Wooden Handle. Pick it up.
Then combine it with the Grinder in your inventory to complete the object. Also pick up the Tea Recipe from the nearby stool.
In a basket nearby, you’ll find the Licorice Root Tea Herb. Pick it up to add it to your collection.
Keep going forward to spot a Mortar Bowl on the chopping board. Pick it up. You’ll need to find a Bat for it.
There’s a locked chest just past it. You don’t have the key to open the chest.
From here, go down a bit, and you can enter the underside of the table.
This is where you’ll find the Yo-Yo. Pick it up.
There’s also a Cooking Book on the left near the large book shaped like a tent. Make sure you pick it up.
Head back to the kitchen area, and on the right you’ll spot a ladder.
The ladder will take you to the roof. Pick up the Dough Bowl. For now, the Telescope can be used as a Cozy Spot. But we’ll come back here later.
Finding the Strainer and Mortar Bat
After leaving the hut, go back to Maybug and give them the Yo-Yo. You’ll get the Paddle Toy in return.
Go back inside the She-Bear’s Hut and use the Paddle Toy on the Strainer to collect it.
Leave the Hut again and head right. Pick up the Bat. Then combine it with the Mortar Bowl to complete the item.
Opening the Locked Chest
Interact with the bookshelf on the right.
The curtain is drawn for now. But on the right, you can see the She-Bear holding up a book with a question mark.
Drag the cooking book from your inventory and drop it on the shelf. This will open the curtains.
Check all three books. Inside the book on the middle shelf, you’ll find a Key. Pick it up.
Head back inside She-Bear’s Hut and use the Key to open the Locked Chest.
Grabbing the Baking Ingredients
Interact with the cabinet inside the chest to open a puzzle window.
There are a bunch of items on the three shelves. Look at the image on the left to figure out which three ingredients you’ll need.
Check the image above for the correct answer.
With all 5 items gathered, head outside and talk to She-Bear.
Then interact with the picnic table to set them all up.
Baking the Pie
Interact with the table with all the items to start the baking process. You already have the main ingredient in the center bowl. Follow the steps below to prepare the Pie.
- Drag the Wheat into the Mortar Bowl (left), then use the Handle to turn it into powder.
- Open the Grinder’s drawer and insert the powder. Turn the handle until the drawer pops out.
- Take the Strainer and place it on the center bowl.
- Take the grinded Flour and place it on the Strainer. Interact with the Strainer until it’s ready.
- Add the ingredients from the top into the Flour. Then keep interacting with it to prepare the Dough.
- Take the Dough Bowl (bottom right) and place it on the Pie Dough
You can see all the steps by clicking on the piece of paper on the bottom left corner of your screen.
When you’re done, talk to She-Bear again, and they’ll ask you to place it into the oven.
Head back inside the Hut and drag the Pie Dough into the oven.
Interact with the Pie once more and add the decorations. It’s an organization puzzle.
Here’s how we solved it.
Brewing the Special Tea
After baking the pie, we now have to prepare a Special Tea for the party. Go all the way to the right and head up the ladder to get to the roof.
Interact with the Telescope to trigger a cutscene.
Use the Cookie Jar you picked up earlier on the Yellow Star to collect it.
Open your Tea Screen, and you’ll find a special kind of Stove.
The Notebook will show you a unique recipe called Your Own Blend.
Use three ingredients of your choosing to prepare the tea.
Leave the She-Bear’s Hut to trigger the final cutscene of the game.
