Twisted Tower – The Beach Walkthrough

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering the Beach area of Twisted Tower.

The year is 1944, and Vincent has just proposed to Charlotte, asking her to become his wife after watching the Twisted Tower movie.

Little did he know that this happy moment would mark the beginning of a strange and terrifying journey, one that will take him into the mysterious world of Twisted Tower to rescue her.

The Beginning

The game starts with a movie being displayed on the big screen outside, with a bunch of cars parked watching. The movie comes to an end, and we see the two couples in one of the cars.

The man proposes to his girlfriend, puts a ring on her finger, and they kiss.

In the next scene, after they get separated, the phone starts ringing, and this wakes the man from his sleep. The caller seems to have kidnapped his fiancée, as she screams for help through the phone.

The phone call ends, and there is a knock on the door. Whoever was knocking slides a ticket under the door to enter the Twisted Tower.

Wasting no time, the guy, Vincent, takes the boat to make his way to this mysterious tower in order to save his fiancée from this mysterious madman.

This is where the gameplay starts, and you will find yourself at the docks. You need to progress forward to enter the tower.

Find Your Way Up The Beach And Into The Twisted Tower

The objective is straightforward, but keep in mind that you can loot containers and pop balloons in order to get some tickets or some treats later on. It is best to make a habit out of it starting now.

Just to the left of the carousel, you will find a hammer lying on the ground. This will be your first weapon to use in order to defend yourself.

Take the stairs up, and you will notice that the tower itself emerges from the ground. Keep following the stairs until you reach the resort door, which you will find blocked.

Use your hammer to break the wooden planks and then crouch to pass. Here, you will encounter your first enemy, so use your hammer to kill it.

When you’re done there, there will be another blocked path, but you can slide through, which you can do by sprinting and then crouching.

Immediately after, look to your left, and behind the little tree, you will see some tickets. Approach them to get a Secret Area checkmark. There are more of these as you progress.

Welcome To The Twisted Tower

After you’ve collected your tickets, you will find a TV at the entrance of the Twisted Tower. The owner will speak to you through this TV.

He welcomes you to his tower, and then a brief scene of Charlotte being held in a cage will be shown.

Vincent has no other choice but to go inside and find his way through and save Charlotte. There is a lever to your right. Interact with it to unlock the gate.

Take the stairs up and move forward to go to the next area. The first thing that you will notice is the hanging enemy, which you can loot, and then a curtain with a word.

All you need to do is walk through these curtains, and they will change, each having its own word, until you come across a window with Charlotte painted on it.

It looks like a dead end, but turn around, and you will see a mysterious man waving at you. Go to him, and this door will be closed. Once again, go back to where you were, and the platform will suddenly start moving.

It is called the Twisted Tower after all, and this is just the beginning of all these tricks and twists, so get used to it.

Welcome To The Lobby

The platform will take you to the Lobby area, where you will find multiple routes, but most of them are locked due to progression, so don’t worry about not reaching a specific location or a locked door from here.

The Real Boy Station, Upgrade Weapons

Drop down and take the stairs up to the first floor, where you will come across the Real Boy Station. This machine allows you to use the tickets that you’ve collected and upgrade your weapons.

This is why we mentioned getting into the habit of opening containers and popping balloons to get any additional tickets you can find.

By now, you might not have enough to purchase an upgrade for the hammer, which is fine. You will find more of these machines as you progress.

Go To The Elevator

Take the stairs to reach the next floor, where you will find an elevator, and next to it, there is a poster of the Twisted Tower movie, which happens to be the same film Vincent and his fiancée were watching before she got kidnapped.

Before you enter the elevator, there are a few tickets and treats that help you recover your health scattered around that you can grab.

Don’t worry if you missed something here because you will be back to this Lobby later on.
