Twisted Tower – The Hotel Walkthrough Part 1

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough covering part 1 of the Hotel area of Twisted Tower.

After Vincent finally makes it to the Twister Tower, he discovers that Charlotte is being held captive by Mr. Twister, the owner of the tower, who deliberately lured him inside as part of his own twisted plans.

With Charlotte’s life hanging in the balance, Vincent has no choice but to venture deeper into the mysterious tower.

Take The Elevator To The Hotel Floor

After you’re done exploring the Lobby, despite most of the routes being locked, enter the elevator. You will find a ticket labeled Hotel. Pick it up and then insert it into the elevator.

This will allow you to use this elevator to take you to the Hotel level. Press Hotel on the panel and wait until you reach it.

When you arrive, you will be able to spot the Hotel sign from the other side of the bridge, and all you’ve got to do is cross it.

Be sure to pick up the Journal sitting on the bench to keep track of your quests and places you have visited.

At the entrance of the Hotel, to your surprise, you will encounter Piper, who will call Vincent Goldfish. It seems that Mr. Twister brought him to the tower as well.

Piper does not seem to take this seriously and is having fun, but Vincent urges him to hide until he figures out a way out of here.

When you’re done with the conversation with Piper, enter the Hotel through the entrance behind Piper.

Enter The Hotel

You will come across the check-in area, and surely you will find an enemy waiting for you to “check you in,” so how about you do the checking with that hammer.

To your right, you will find the Bedrooms door and Piper just outside of it. As soon as you try and get close, the door will lock itself.

Speak to Piper, and he decides that he will help you navigate your way and give you tips on Charlotte’s whereabouts. From his exploration, Charlotte is being held upstairs at the Guest Bedrooms.

Now you need to find a way to unlock this door and reach Charlotte.

Explore The Hotel In Search Of The Bedrooms

Take the path to the left of the Bedrooms door, and you will notice a door here. Before you go through it, look back and follow the way to the right. At the end, you will find a Secret Area. Pick up all the tickets from here.

Back to the door, open it and go through it. As soon as you open the door, a landline phone enemy will chase you. Defeat it before it explodes on you.

Past the hallway, you will come across an open room. You will see a Red Key behind the bars in front of you, a door with a star on it to your left, and the Real Boy Station to your right.

For starters, the star door is a New Game Plus feature that you won’t be able to access during your first playthrough.

It works as it gives you an alternative route to progress through the main story, which enhances the second playthrough so it won’t feel repetitive.

You will find one of these in every new area you come across as you progress through the story, but feel free to ignore all of them during your first playthrough.

Now that you probably have enough tickets, you can upgrade your hammer at the Real Boy Station.

The Wind-Up upgrade will be on discount for only 70 tickets, so you should grab it. This allows you to charge your hammer and release a very strong swing.

If you still have tickets, we highly recommend you get the Increased Power upgrade as well and fully upgrade the hammer. This is because this will be your trusty weapon to use in the long run.

Now, the Red Key is what we need to get in order to unlock the Red Lock Door, but first, how do we get there?

Unlock The Red Key Room

Take the stairs up to reach the upper floor, and you will see the Dinner & A Show door. As soon as you approach, an enemy will burst through the door and attack you. Use your new charged-up attack to one-shot it.

Go inside and slide on the No Sliding door. Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen, just some extra tickets to grab. Go through the door at the front and progress forward.

You will reach the Dining Hall, where another TV will be waiting for you. It will display another message from Mr. Twister, and you will spot a few scenes of Charlotte crying while being held hostage.

It seems that Mr. Twister is doing this on purpose at this point to antagonize Vincent. Anyhow, moving forward, climb up the stage, and you will find a pistol lying around. Pick it up, as this will be your first gun.

As soon as you do, you will be attacked by a bunch of enemies, and specifically, a new type of enemy, the giraffe with the gun. It’s the perfect chance to put this new pistol to the test. Aim for the head and kill these enemies.

When that’s done, make sure to loot all enemies for ammo and tickets, and then press the green button inside the room on the stage. This will flip the Dining Hall upside down.

Now go back, and you will see that the only way is now through the plank bridges, and one step wrong and you will fall to your demise.

Before you head straight, head to the far left, and you will find a Secret Area. Break the boxes here and get your loot.

Now use the plank bridge to head forward, and you will see a man with a suit sitting. You can speak to him for some more insight into the Tower and Mr. Twister if you need.

To the left side, there is a lever that you can activate. Activate the lever to unlock the room where the Red Key is.

Now you don’t have to worry about backtracking. Break the vent entrance to the right and go through it.

This will take you to the start of the path you took to get the key. Go through the exit room, and from here, you will reach the room you need.

A bunch of enemies will be waiting for you, so take them out first. When you’re done, head to the ground floor and pick up the Red Key. With this key, you will be able to unlock the Red Lock Door to the right side.

You can also upgrade your pistol if you have enough tickets for it at the Real Boy Station. Unlock the door and go through it to go to the next section.

Unlock The Bedrooms

You will finally arrive at the Bedrooms section of the Hotel, and Charlotte is supposedly somewhere here.

The first room, you will notice that there is a countertop display case. It has some treats in it, but in order to open it, you need to spend a specific number of tickets.

You will find these a lot as you navigate the Twister Tower, and they are only useful when you are really low on health or ammo. Otherwise, you should save your tickets for weapon upgrades.

Go through the main door, and you will find another display case. This time, it has pistol ammunition. For only 20 tickets, and if you’re out of pistol ammo, it’s worth it.

Moving along, you will reach the dining area, and you need to head down to the Kitchen, which is toward the right. As soon as you approach the door, it will be locked, and enemies will spawn.

Defeat all enemies, and the door will be unlocked. Enter the Kitchen and be aware of the enemies here. At the back of the kitchen, there will be a green button with a stair icon on it. Activate it.

This will move the staircase from the dining area to the other side. Head back there and go to the upper floor. Follow the path here and be careful of the floor trap, which will be marked by a red skeleton on the floor.

You can simply jump over it. After you do, you will notice a letter on the desk to your right. To your surprise, this is one of your letters to the judge, talking about the custody of your ill sister and Piper.

Vincent is confused about how this got here, but there is no time for questions. Continue forward, and you will find a lever. Activate it. This will unlock the Exit door at the ground floor.

Jump down and go through the door you just unlocked. You will find another TV in front of you. Another twisted surprise, it will be a video of Dorothy, Vincent’s ill sister, with a full timestamp.

The video also shows how Vincent and Charlotte first met. It seems that someone has been spying on and filming Vincent’s life. Could it be Mr. Twister? But how?

Follow the way to the right and then take the stairs all the way to the top. Here, you will find a hallway, and at the end of it, there is a lever. Interact with it to unlock the door to Bedrooms.

From here, drop down, and you will arrive at the check-in area, where you can quickly access the Bedrooms section of the Hotel by taking the stairs up.
