Twisted Tower – Tower Top Walkthrough

Vincent has finally made it to the top of the Twisted Tower, and there is nowhere left to run. It’s time to confront Mr. Twister, defeat the Twisted Beast, and finally rescue his fiancée, Charlotte.

After chasing Charlotte through every twisted corner of the tower, Vincent is finally at the end of the road. Everything has led to this final confrontation, and now it’s time to put an end to Mr. Twister’s plans and save Charlotte once and for all.

Go Through Charlotte’s Castle

Just when you get outside of the Lightspeed Land, you will reach what we can tell from the sign is Charlotte’s Castle, and of course, yet another TV from Mr. Twister.

Mr. Twisted is impressed by how far Vincent has made it and says he will be waiting for you.

Follow the way to the right and defeat the enemies around. Look to the edge on the right side, and you will be able to see a caged torch on the other platform.

Jump across and activate it, then quickly backtrack to the gate and look to the top left. Grapple here to reach the upper floor.

More enemies will be around here, and you need to defeat them. When you’re done, jump to the upper battlement and platform your way to the battlement where you spot the caged torch.

Activate this caged torch, and then keep platforming through the battlement until you spot the grapple point on the other side. Grapple there.

Jump using the trampoline and make your way up until you reach the battlement here. You will find a Real Boy Station, so make sure to get any upgrades you need because this is the last one you will encounter.

Drop down and keep working your way through the battlements until you reach the elevator. Just outside, you will be able to pick up the ticket, and there is another TV here, the last one from Mr. Twister.

Strange enough, Mr. Twister is speaking to Vincent as if he is his son, and calls him Vincent Twister. This cannot be. Vincent never knew his father and only lived with his mother; this has to be another trick.

Go inside the elevator, insert the ticket, pick Tower Top, and be prepared for a fight.

Defeat Mr. Twister

You will reach the very top of the tower where Charlotte’s cage is there. Vincent runs toward her, and just as he tries to figure out how to get her out, Mr. Twister himself arrives on a hot air balloon.

He will hook Charlotte’s cage to the balloon and float around. It will shoot projectiles at you, but they are easy to avoid.

The whole boss fight requires you to find the caged torches around and activate them. This will reveal weak points on the balloon, marked by red dots, and you need to shoot and destroy every one of them.

If you upgraded the Cannon’s secondary fire, this will make your life easy since all the projectiles are tracking, so you won’t have to aim. Otherwise, the Marble Gun and the Slingshot are perfect for this.

Sounds simple enough. However, Mr. Twister will change the placement of the caged torch and mess around by changing the tower formation, so you need to be mindful of where you step and jump accordingly so you won’t fall.

Halfway through the fight, the balloon will station itself at the center and emit rotating crosshairs of laser beams. You can simply avoid these by jumping or double jumping if needed.

That’s pretty much the whole fight. After you destroy all the red dots on the balloon, it will fall, the cage holding Charlotte will be broken, and she will be free.

The Twist Of Mr. Twister’s Twisted Tower

Just as Vincent approaches Charlotte, he urges her to leave this tower once and for all.

But to his surprise, she holds his hand, and he notices that both of her hands are intact. If you remember, they cut off one of her hands during the Mermaid Palace.

This is when Charlotte reveals the whole thing. Numerous cameras are recording the scene as they start rolling, with Charlotte delivering her final line: “My heart, my lips, my body. They’re yours.”

Right after that, Mr. Twister will shout “Cut!” and deliver the final scene. It seems that Vincent was played by every single person he met, including Piper, his grandma, and even Charlotte.

They just wanted to help their father, Mr. Twister, make another banger of a movie, just like his first one, The Twisted Tower. And yes indeed, Vincent is his son.

And that’s all. Quite the twist, but it leaves quite a few plot holes and unanswered questions.
