Unbeatable Walkthrough: Episode 2

Unbeatable is a stunning hand-drawn anime inspired rhythm adventure game. Follow Beat & her bandmates through their journey of self discovery blending live song performances, spectacular set pieces and quirky rhythm mini games. In this second episode, Beat and Quaver meet Clef and Treble and arrange a prison break.

Watch the talk show segment play out for Clef and Treble. The next scene will show Clef and Treble in the police station. The following scene will be a mob outside H.A.R.M and a news report. The scene then switches to Beat and Quaver watching the news report about Clef and Treble’s arrest. Once you have control just play through the dialogue choices for Beat. These choices are inconsequential.

Beat and Quaver will discuss about helping Treble and Clef. And once that discussion ends they will be inside Clef and Treble’s cell. The conversation will lead to a rhythm battle between Beat and Clef.

The sequence is easy enough. Once done, the introductions take place. Clef will ask if you are a crazy person. Answer him as you please.

A cop will show up to take everyone for processing. Once you have control run to the left to the large central area, ignore the stairs going up for now.

Turn to the right to head to the yard.

The guard at the yard will tell you the rules of the yard. Pick any dialogue choice to reply to the guard.

Attaca will run into the yard and get shot at. You will be back inside now, so go to the left to head to the Cafeteria. Watch the scenes play out inside the cafeteria. Pick whatever dialogue choices you want for Beat, they don’t matter in the grand scheme of things. You will soon meet Penny.

Watch the scenes play out. Soon the game will transition to the next morning. Once you are out of the cell head to the right to get to the factory. Follow the cop to your work station.  This mini game is basically you having to approve or reject the products that come across your station. To test the product quality, you have to use the three white buttons on the right side of the green “Approve” and red “Reject” Buttons. Faulty products will either fail the Assembly test, as something will fall off or the Stability test, by being unstable. If the product passes both tests, use the third switch “Tension” to set the Tension to 5 and Approve the product.

Once the shift is over, you will return to the cafeteria. Pick any of the dialogue options. Watch the story unfold as Penny explains how the dampeners work. You will next be back at the cell and soon DC will be interrogating Clef. Back at the yard now, run towards the monkey bars and you will get in a fight with the muscle guy.

Once the fight is done you will be back at the Factory. Go to the right. You will enter a memory sequence. Beat the silence here by hitting the correct notes. Once this memory is over, you will wake up in the cell the next morning. A cop will show up and take you back to the factory for out work shift. The same as yesterday. You can steal the blueprints from the table, if you take them when the guard is distracted.

After the work shift is over you will be back in the cafeteria. Watch the cutscene play out and soon you will have to go look for Penny. Inspect the cell by moving the camera and then focus on the broken wall. Crawl through the vent.

Check the documents on the floor and chat to Penny. After the cutscene you will be back at the yard again. Complete the next battle. You will be now in the Rec Room. You can play the minigames here. When you finish any of the minigames, return to the main cells and select “Bedtime” near the stairs. Soon another dream sequence will occur. Complete the memory fight sequence. Next morning, you wont need to go to the factory but instead will be given Play Time. For the Baseball minigame, you need to hit the ball in time to the beat. If you miss all the balls you will get a Game Over. Once the baseball sequence is over, you can talk to all the inmates in the Yard to discuss the plan. A cop will be here soon, asking you to follow him. Watch the scenes play out. Soon you will be back at the Rec Room again. Speak to Clef and then fight her.

Back at the Factory floor again. The idea for this shift is to create a distraction so everyone can escape. Keep going like normal till the guard is distracted. Select the options in order – Hit the Computer, Hit it harder and Deliver a massive blow. Now adjust the tension on the product until its two lines long and press Approve.

Watch the cutscene play out. Break your headphones in half and tie them to your shoes. Now watch the prison break play out as you grind the rails. Jump at the right timing for the diamonds and dodge obstacles the crosshairs.

You will now have to fight DC and once you beat him you will join the other on a train. Take a photo for Quaver. After taking the photo, another cutscene will play out. This will be followed by another rhythm sequence. You need to beat the drones with the right timing – just like every other fight sequence so far. This will end episode 2.
