Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is an open-world RPG featuring a story about the rise of a bloodlord. As this game is an RPG, your actions are going to pave a path for you, and similarly, there are going to be different consequences depending on which path you choose. After you have completed the prologue, the first chapter of the game will begin. Now, as your choices and decisions matter a lot in this game, you can mess something up quite easily. So, to prevent that, in this guide, I will provide you with a complete walkthrough of Chapter One, Hell’s Chasm in Vampires: Bloodlord Rising.

The game also features choice-based decisions that can influence the main story and lead to different outcomes. I generally chose options that result in positive consequences, but you’re free to make any choices you feel are better suited to your playstyle.

Bloodlord Rising Objective
As you finish the prologue, your first objective will be to empower the core. Now, empowering the core is going to be pretty simple, but it is going to take a little time. You will need quite a lot of blood, so hunt animals and start pouring your blood into the core.
You can also get the help of your servants to boost the process. Now, you do not need to fill up the core, as that is not necessary to empower it. Once you are a little above the liquid symbol, press F to manage and then empower the core. If you are a little short, pour blood again. I unlocked Hell’s Chasm, so feel free to do the same.
Note
As you are completing the main objectives, you will also see one about building the castle. Do not neglect that and keep building new things to upgrade your castle. Also, make sure to create one more vampire, as this will not only unlock an achievement for you but will also boost your progress.
Talk To Razvan
Note
Now that your core level is at level two, it can handle a total of nine vampires. So, if you have three right now, you can go and create six more, but for now, I recommend waiting. Creating one or two to get the materials from Hell’s Chasm makes sense, but hold on before making more than that, as we may find some good candidates.
After you have empowered the core, Hell’s Chasm will be unlocked for you and will be visible on the map. The next objective you will get is to talk to Razvan. He will be marked on the map, so head over to him and have a chat.
After talking to him, the Bloodlord Rising objective will be completed, and a new one will begin.
In The Wake Of The Fire Objective
Note
Before heading out, I recommend replenishing your blood and making sure the bar is full. You will need as much as possible to complete the task in this chapter. Also, when traveling, make sure you use the aristocrat form, as it consumes far less blood than the hunter form. Another important step is to obtain some Weak Blood Vials. These can be found in mausoleums, or you may be able to purchase them from the trader.
After you have unlocked Hell’s Chasm in Vampires: Bloodlord Rising and talked to Razvan, it is time to actually visit the place. Head toward the marker on your map, and eventually, the objective will change to finding the village in Hell’s Chasm. On the way, you will notice some inquisitors. Defeat them, and to take care of the ones with shields, perform a charged attack.
Find The Village In Hell’s Chasm
After that, loot their bodies and grab the Vampire’s Tear. You should have enough by now to do a couple of upgrades. Do so, and then go a little ahead to find more inquisitors. There are going to be way more than before, so be careful. Then, loot the area, as there is going to be another Vampire’s Tear here, and keep moving ahead.
Along the way, you will find even more inquisitors and a Shadowrock Boulder. Destroy the boulder to get some Shadowrocks and take care of the enemies. The village entrance will be marked on the map, so you do not have to worry about losing your way.
Note
Wherever you find inquisitors, make sure to defeat them and loot the area, as in every single one of their camps, I found a Vampire’s Tear.
Defeat The Inquisitors And Enter The Camp
As you reach the entrance of the village, you are going to find even more enemies. There are going to be quite a few of them, so try to dodge more, as you may get fewer windows to counterattack.
Note
Opposite the village’s entrance, on the left side, there is the Hell’s Chasm North Mausoleum. Upon discovering it, even if your character is defeated in combat, you will not be respawned all the way back at your base. Instead, you will respawn at this mausoleum, which will save you quite a lot of time.
How To Defeat The Inquisitors
Note
The enemies in this game are quite tough, and your health is extremely low at the start. Due to this, getting defeated in combat a few times is completely normal. If the same thing is happening to you, there is no need to worry. Simply locate the mausoleum closest to where you are fighting. It does not matter how many times your character dies. Each time you return, you can gradually thin out the enemies, as they do not respawn.
Now, this fight is going to be the hardest so far, and you may fail a few times. That is why having the mausoleum as your respawn point near the village is extremely important. Once you reach the entrance, try to defeat the ones without a shield first, especially the one with the crossbow.
When your ultimate is charged, use it on the ones with the shield. Then repeat the process until you emerge victorious. This is going to be a little tough, but it is doable. Do not just focus on counterattacks, as there are going to be way too many attacks that you cannot perform this mechanic on.
The red ones can only be dodged, so you will need to be attentive and ready to dodge those attacks.
Loot Everything
After you have defeated the enemies, loot all of them and then enter the camp. Inside, you will find a Vampire’s Tear and a chest containing some loot. Grab everything, and to the left of the scaffolding will be an entrance to the cave. Enter inside, pick up the Jasnara Pearl, and on the right side is where you can find the village.
However, before heading there, go left and unlock a shortcut. Then, head right, and you will be inside the village.
Gather Rumors About Reveka In Hell’s Chasm
Now, before asking the villagers about Reveka, make sure to change your form. Once you have done that, you need to speak to the villagers, and three of them will tell you about Reveka. Do note that not all of them are going to share details about Reveka, so you will have to talk to more of them. With that, the In the Wake of Fire objective will be completed.
Grace Within Shadow Objective
Now, if you want to create more vampires, you can do so in this village, as there are some good candidates. Once you are done, your next task is to get to the mine. So, start heading toward the quest marker, and along the way, you will find some Fire Crystals and Shadowrocks.
Find Reveka’s Hideout
As you reach inside the mine, your objective will change to finding Reveka’s hideout. Go ahead, and you will notice a path to the left. Head there to find a chest, and then come back to continue progressing further. Head down the stairs, and there will be some debris on your left.
Note
If you do not have enough blood and cannot find any blood vials, there is no need to worry. Simply teleport back to your castle and hunt some animals to replenish your blood. Once you are done, return and complete the task.
Break the debris using a charged attack and continue ahead to find Reveka’s hideout. There will be an ancient chest in the room, so loot that and then interact with the three serpents. You now need to fill these serpent statues with blood, so if you do not have blood vials, you may not be able to progress further.
Awaken Reveka
Once you have filled all three of the serpent statues with blood, head to Reveka’s coffin and interact with it. This will trigger a cutscene featuring the awakening of Reveka. After you awaken her, a conversation will begin. After the conversation, the Grace Within Shadow objective will be completed.
Reveka’s Wrath Objective
This is the third and last main objective of Hell’s Chasm in Chapter One of Vampires: Bloodlord Rising. Now, to make her loyal to you, you need to find Inquisitor Luliu’s camp and defeat him.
Find Inquisitor Luliu’s Camp
To find the camp, head out of where Reveka is and then take a left. From there, follow the quest marker. On the way, on the left side, you will find the Hell’s Chasm West Mausoleum. Head inside it to set it as your respawn area. Then head over to the quest marker, and as you get near the camp, the objective will change to defeating Inquisitor Luliu.
Defeat Inquisitor Luliu
As you enter the camp, you will face quite a few Inquisitors. Follow the same strategy again and defeat everyone. However, be careful of the one wearing heavy armor. Your attacks will not stagger him, and while you are attacking, he can hit back.
After defeating everyone, the objective will be completed. Once you are done with that, loot the camp to find some useful items and then head back to Reveka. After talking to her, the quest will move forward.
Do note that, inside the camp where you defeat Luliu, you will find a note. Read that to get an extra dialogue option with Reveka. Also, you will get four Vampire’s Tears from this area. So, make sure to explore it and loot everything before you head out.
Rebuilding The Hell’s Chasm Stronghold
Now, you may remember the Rule All Lands pop-up that appeared after clearing the prologue. One of the lands you have to rule is Hell’s Chasm, and that can only be done by rebuilding its stronghold. You can see a red colored mark on the map, and that is where the stronghold is located.
You will have to go around the village from the right side and head upward. There will be some Inquisitors along the way, so defeat them and continue forward to find the stronghold. However, you may not be able to rebuild it right now, as it requires a large amount of materials.
Note
Rebuilding a stronghold is necessary to rule the land, and it also allows your servants to gather the resources that are available only in this land. Also, after rebuilding the stronghold, the maximum core blood capacity will be increased by 1,000.
Right now, it will say that you need a lot of gold, but do not worry. As you continue building the stronghold, the amount of gold required will also be reduced. As you build the stronghold, the amount of gold will also reduce. You will need 1,136 Limestone, 249 Shadowrock, 322 Chiseled Limestone, 188 Mortar, 6 Glass, and 24 Planks.
