Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough of VirtuaVerse!

VirtuaVerse is a point-and-click adventure game, so it’s best to explore on your own. Pick up what you can, interact with things, talk to people, and examine all the things you can! But if you’re still stuck and don’t know what to do to proceed, find out in our walkthrough guide.

For more information on VirtuaVerse, check out the official website here.

The Blade HQ

Head to the right of the closet and use the Lorraine 500 computer (it looks like a keyboard with a mouse to the right). You need a monitor for this, which is located on top of the closet.

Go to the right of the Lorraine 500, where you’ll find a ladder propped against the wall. Pick it up. Use the ladder from your inventory on the closet, so that you can reach the monitor. Interact with the monitor to grab it.

Use the monitor on the Lorraine 500 to put it in place. Now, you need to connect the monitor to the computer.

Use the cardboard box to the left of the closet and to the right of Ramirez. Keep using the inextricable tangle of cables until the cables can be picked up. Try picking up these cables, and Nathan will comment if the cable can be used for the Lorraine 500. If it doesn’t work, mess up the tangle of cables and try again. Keep trying to pick up the cables, and at some point, Nathan will identify the right cable and pick it up.

Once you have the cable, use it from your inventory on the Lorraine 500.

After getting the system running and showing display, you will be taken to zoomed-in view of the monitor. Open your inventory, and use the floppy disk on the floppy disk drive to the right.

This will start up the video on the floppy. You’ll have to watch it to the end.

After the video ends, a conversation will follow. After the conversation, you’ll be handed a key.

Use the closet key on the closet and then open it up. The dial-up modem is located on the middle shelf. Pick it up (make sure it is highlighted, or you might end up closing the closet instead).

Use the dial-up modem on the Lorraine 500. This will give you your next clue: a place called Satnasjokull.

Another conversation will follow, which will lay out your plan going forward. After you’re done conversing, head left and use the exit.

Head left on the next screen to exit to the station outside. Head into your Tour Bus.

To travel, go to the front of the bus, past the entry door. You’ll find a prompt saying ‘Travel’.

You now have two destinations ahead of you: Nuwaka and Satnajoskull. You cannot proceed in Satnajoskull without an item that you need from Nuwaka, so you’ll have to go to Nuwaka first.

Select Nuwaka to go there.
