Wax Heads Walkthrough Part 3 – Track 16-19

Welcome to Part 3 of the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Wax Heads, covering tracks 16 to 19.

Wax Heads is a narrative sim where you work in a record store that is struggling to stay afloat. As an employee, you have to sell records to different types of customers, all of whom are vague about what they want. For more information, head over to its Steam page.

Wax Heads Walkthrough – Track 16

It seems the previous track in Wax Heads was just a nightmare, and on Track 16, you will be back in Repeater Records. You will then have a conversation with Morgan and the rest.

When the conversation is over, you can leave the staff room and open the store.

Interact With Kaz (Delivery Man)

Kaz, the delivery man, is back with yet again some very vague hints. So you need to find an album that reads like B something something Sun King. This has to be the album Sinking by Brick Dog. You can find this album where the Sister albums used to be before.

Interact With Vinnie (Spoon Promoter)

Vinnie Spoon is looking for a trashy indie rock band that is on the soundtrack for a rom-com remake. The album you are looking for is Hair Flops by The Old Knots. If you check the album’s description, you’ll see that their music has appeared in the film remake of “Why don’t you love my love”, a very rom-com-sounding title for a film.

This album can be found in the room where you open the store.

Interact With Chloe (Marco’s Sister), Marco (Chloe’s Brother), And Eduardo (Chloe and Marco’s Dad)

You now have to pick three different albums, one for Chloe, Marco, and Eduardo each. Chloe wants a new punk album, Marco wants a new twisted rap album, and Eduardo wants a criminally loud one.

For Chloe, pick the new Sister album Cave Coven (found to the far right on the ground floor, which is the new section for Sister albums).

For Marco, pick the new Nia Pixel album Bust Base, as Nia Pixel is a rapper.

For Eduardo, pick the latest Jarhead album Pit, as Jarhead is a loud band with ‘criminal’ association due to their murder case, and Pit is their most recent album.

Add all three albums to the cart before checking out.

Interact With June

Just like the previous ones, June is a repeat customer and is looking for a copy of the most famous Willow album.

Although you don’t have a Willow solo album specifically, you can give her the most famous Becoming Violet album, as Willow was in that band. The most famous album from them is Faces in Faces, “a multi-platinum selling behemoth” which can be found in the basement.

Interact With Winston And Rashida

Two more repeat customers arrive in the form of Winston and Rashida, but Rashida will leave, so you will only have to deal with Winston. He is looking for an album with a robot on the front, but its lyrics should be enough to make him blush. The album he is looking for is Fundam by Minnie and Minx (you’ll notice that one of the songs on the album has a swear word that is censored).

You can find this album in the room to the left of where Mimi’s albums are.

He is going to be the last customer of the day, and when Winston leaves, you will have a conversation with Hank and Morgan. Then you will be at The Apple Bed at night.

The Apple Bed

After a series of conversations, you will have to select a drink for Paul. He wants something that’ll “mix it up” but also have no citrus flavors.

Choose A Certain Tipple from the bottom row, as that is a mixed drink with no citrus flavor.

Then a conversation will happen between some people, and Track 16 in Wax Heads will be over.

Wax Heads Walkthrough – Track 17

As you enter the store, you will have a conversation with Matteo and Abi. When the conversation is over, head out of the staff room and open the store.

Interact With Ali

Ali and Patri broke up, so now you have to find a sad record for Ali that will make her ache with every breath. You need to give her Tense Glass by Lea Webber, whose description mentions “…every breath, every longing ache uttered…”.

Interact With Billy

For Billy, you need to find two albums from a couple of local bands signed up to “Sick, Sad World Records“, the new record label by Sister. What you are looking for are Girl Junk by Girl Junk and Stay in Bed by Da Knees. These can be found on the upper floor.

You can go there either from the last room on the ground floor or from the elevator, which is in the room to the right of where you open the store.

Remember to add both albums to the cart before checking out for Billy.

Interact With Margarita

Margarita is looking for a record by the artists Burt Evershine, Maurice Teya (or Maurice Tay, she isn’t sure), and Stella Novak. She isn’t remembering the names properly, though, so none of these artists exist.

Give her the album Gifted by Maria Estrella, (she mistook Stella for Estrella).

This album can be found in the basement.

Interact With Daisy And The Boys

Daisy is looking for an album with a name containing a body part, but signed on to ‘Sick, Sad World Records’.

The correct option is Stay in Bed by Da Knees, which can be found on the upper floor. The band is signed on to the right record label, and of course, the knee is a body part.

Interact With Patri

Before Patri, the mascot dad with his daughter will come, but the dad will be without a costume this time. They will talk to you for a short time, and then Patri will appear.

Patri is looking for a familiar record with an inextricable feeling of loss hanging over it.

Give Patri the album Sinking by Brick Dog. As Patri is a fan of Brick Dog, the album will be familiar to her, and furthermore, the album has the vocals of Tar O’Deele, who served as Brick Dog’s first vocalist until his death (hence the feeling of loss).

With that, Track 17 in Wax Heads will be over.

Wax Heads Walkthrough – Track 18

As Track 18 in Wax Heads starts, you will have a conversation with Tee and Paul. When the conversation is over, open the store.

Interact With Delivery Man Zak

This time, the delivery man will be different. Zak is Kaz’s cousin, who is looking for a copy of the album Glassed Tense, which he’s obviously got wrong.

The album you are looking for is Tense Glass by Lea Webber. You’ll find it in the basement.

Interact With Mimi Superfan

Before the superfan arrives, Dan Luffy will come to make a scene, but Paul and Tee will handle him.

Mimi Superfan is here to get the newest Mimi track on record.

As Mimi has contributed a song to the album Glorf: The Movie Soundtrack, that’s the correct answer for this one. (Thanks to an anonymous reader for pointing this one out!)

Interact With Tony (Cheapskate)

Tony is back, and this time he is looking for the most expensive album you have, which is honestly quite surprising. The most expensive album you have right now in the store is Eye Tried by Snarl. This is a collector’s edition, and you’ll find on Phonogram that it now retails for even higher than the printed price (£65.00 instead of £49.99).

So select it and give it to Tony. With that, he will give you the best rating.

Interact With Chip Lennington

Before Chip arrives, Chloe will come to talk to you. When you are done talking to her, Chip Lennington will arrive asking for a local, politically savvy album, one that is vibrant with voting youths.

Give him Chipped Nails by Bad Toes, which is described as ‘politically incisive’. You’ll find this one at the store entrance.

Interact With Willow

When Chip leaves, Willow will arrive and have a conversation with Paul. Then she will ask you to give her an album that will surprise her.

Now, what can surprise her more than the fact that Morgan had a copy of her album all along? So, head into the basement and select the Dove Can Still Fly album by Willow.

Then Morgan and Willow have a pretty long conversation.

After that, Live with Clive will begin. With that, Track 18 in Wax Heads will be over.

Wax Heads Walkthrough – Track 19

As you start Track 19 in Wax Heads, you will have a conversation with Paul and Morgan. Then you will have to perform a small task.

Once you are done with that, open the store, and you will get the first customer.

Interact With Teddy Tom

Teddy Tom is looking for something that would fire him up like when he was younger. Give him The Best of You by Teddy Tom and The Two Stans from the basement, as that’s an album Teddy Tom recorded in his youth.

Then you will have a conversation with Abi, and a new customer will arrive.

Interact With Winston, Rashida, And Ryan

They are looking for three records. One that is rare for Winston’s friend Rita, another album for Rashida that is by a celebrated and now-reunited band, and one for Ryan, which is an album by Grip Records.

For Winston, pick Dove Can Still Fly album by Willow, for Rashida, pick Bruck by Brick Dog and for Ryan, pick the newest Nia Pixel album, Bust Base.

Interact With Ali and Patri

It seems like both of them have made up and are looking for an album from an absurd, dry indie rock band that has a comedian in their group.

What you are looking for is Absurd Realities by Gecko Jester, which can be found in the basement. If you check the back side of the cover, you’ll find that one of its members is the same comedian on your Phonogram feed.

Interact With The Mystery Figure

The mystery figure is none other than Mimi, and she is looking to remove the album that has caused her a lot of shame. The only album that has done that to her is Mecha Mimi Meets Mother (due to the accusations that it was ghostwritten).

So select that and sell it to Mimi, and you will get the best rating.

Interact With Linney Hurst

As Linney enters the store, Morgan and she will have a conversation, and after the conversation, she will ask for an album.

Linney is looking for a new album from an old flame of hers. She is looking for Stay in Bed by Da Knees, as we have learned earlier that Hank was dating Linney at one point, and Da Knees is Hank’s new band.

Interact With Clive

Clive is looking for an album by “the sad person who just reunited with his old band”. That would be Gareth Gringle, so simply head into the basement and select Going Gringles by Gareth Gringle.

He is going to be the last customer of the day, and when he leaves, you will have a conversation with Morgan and Paul.

The Apple Bed

You will then head to The Apple Bed. After a very long conversation, a small event where Abi is playing guitar will occur. After that, you will be back in Repeater Records to witness a conversation between Willow, Morgan, and James. Then you will be back in The Apple Bed.

You will then have to choose the lyrics of what Morgan and Willow will sing, just the first parts.

After that, Track 19 will be over, along with the game. With that, this walkthrough of Wax Heads for Tracks 16, 17, 18, and 19 comes to an end.
