Entering The Convenience Store

Frangin's location in Welcome to Doll Town.

The first mission that you’re tasked with is finding and entering the convenience store in Ningyomachi. Head in the opposite direction of the bus that you arrived in to come across a strange NPC named Frangin. She automatically takes you to the location of the convenience store.

Vending machines outside the convenience store.

As for unlocking the entrance, the keys are actually located under the vending machines, which can be found on the left side of the store. Enter the store and turn on the lights by interacting with the cash register.

A doll will be blocking your path to the register. In order to move the doll, circle around the last row of snacks, which should clear the way. Interact with the register to power the lights and open the back room entrance.

A cutscene starts playing after you interact with the freezer, and this leads to the game’s first flashback section. You play as Tsumugi and must find Mio, which is pretty easy. All you have to do is move left, and you will catch her.

Another cutscene plays here, and after it ends, you will need to find a hiding spot. Just move to the right, and you will find a great hiding spot next to a vending machine. Actually, you will enter a building that houses a freezer that can be used as a hiding spot. This will start another cutscene, which ends the first flashback in the game.

Entering The Hanabari Manor

With that coin in your inventory, head back to the convenience store. The right side of the building houses a Gashapon machine where you need to use a coin. You will be rewarded with a LEGO piece, which is needed to enter the Hanabari Manor.

Entering The Habanari Manor.

From the convenience store, head right, followed by another right, and then finally a left at the end. You will arrive at the entrance of the manor here. Use the LEGO piece as a button on the keypad and type the code 58008 to enter the Hanabari manor.

Exploring The Hanabari Manor

Getting the key from the enemy.

After entering the manor, go straight inside and fight the doll in the second room. The doll will drop a key, which is needed to further explore the manor. Head back and use the key on the locked door inside the manor. This will allow you to start a boss fight with Mrs. Hanabari. The boss is not particularly hard to beat, and she has a limited moveset.

In order to fix the power supply, you must turn on the five breakers in this section. Make your way back to the entrance of the school, and the first breaker can be found next to the first set of stairs.

Location of the second breaker.

To reach the next breaker, start by moving down the stairs again. After coming down, instantly move back, but don’t climb the stairs. You will find your second breaker here, which must be turned on.

The third breaker can be found as you are entering the next room. When you are descending the third set of stairs, you will spot the breaker on your right.

Location of the fourth breaker.

The fourth breaker can be found in the right corner of the room that you enter after climbing down the stairs. You won’t see it until you move to this corner of the room.

Location of the last breaker.

As for the last breaker, just head towards the main power supply room, but don’t enter it just yet. Your final breaker is waiting to be turned on in front of the door.

Entrance of the main hall.

Once all the breakers are working, you can head back and turn on the main power supply. This will allow you to access the main hall, which can be found on the opposite side of the hall that contains the main power room.

Mio’s Locker Room Flashback

The locker room in Welcome to Doll Town.

The first thing that you access in the main hall is the locker room. You must interact with three things here to start the flashback section. Mio’s locker is the first thing that you should examine – it can be found in the last row of lockers.

Next is the note that can be found on the left side of the locker and the doll, which can be spotted on the right side. This begins the flashback, and you just need to move right to uncover more of the story. After the flashback ends, you can finally use the stairs to reach the roof.

Mio’s School Flashback

Finding Frangin near the roof.

As soon as you access the stairs, go to the third floor and speak with Frangin. Once you are done speaking, move to the second floor to find a classroom that you can enter.

Entering Classroom 2-B.

Escaping the school.

Once you pick up the body, use the stairs to descend to the ground floor and enter the locker room again. On the opposite side of the lockers, you will come across an exit that can be used to escape the school.

Hide And Seek Flashback Revisited

Hiding from Tsumugi.

The previous flashback ends with another flashback section, but this time you play as Mio instead of Tsumugi. You have to follow Tsumugi and use the terrain to hide from her. Interact with the freezer at the end and leave the room to end this flashback.

The Cat’s Flashback

Unlocking the first door in manor.

Our walkthrough of Welcome to Doll Town continues with another flashback sequence, but this time you play as Mio’s cat, and your main goal is to escape. Interact with the lever in the room to open the door and unlock your way forward.

Unlocking the second door.

There is only a single path ahead, so keep following it and stick to the left side. You will eventually come across some stairs, but don’t use them just yet. Just keep heading forward and take a right at the end. Eventually, you will arrive at another lever that you need to use.

Using the stairs to descend again.

Now you can go back and use the stairs to descend. The door that should have been blocking your path here will now be unlocked. Follow the road ahead, and you will arrive at another set of stairs on your right. Use these to descend again and enter the room on your left.

Small hole for traversal.

In this room, you need to jump on top of the shelf to reach the small opening which allows you to enter the next room. Here, jump on top of the piano to get the attention of the students. Next, exit both of the rooms the same way that you came in.

Finding the police car.

Follow the hallway in front of the stairs and use the exit at the end to escape the manor. Keep following the road ahead until you spot a police car. Once you get close to the car, take a right, and a cutscene will start playing, which ends this flashback.

Reina’s Flashback

Starting Reina's flashback in Welcome to Doll Town.

The story continues with one final flashback, and this time around, you will play as Reina. As soon as the flashback begins, go left to start a cutscene. The game gives you a choice after the cutscene. Here, you should choose the dialogue option that suits you.

Meeting Frangin one final time.

Another cutscene plays here that ends with you back in Ningyomachi, but the scenery has shifted. Exit the bus and head in the opposite direction to speak with Frangin and end the game.
