How To Craft Sandstone Axe

You now need to craft a Sandstone Axe to get even more materials from the world around you. You need the following materials
- Twig
- Pebble
- Flax Fiber
You will find these materials lying around near your home. Don’t venture too far or you will get cold. While you are out you will also spot crafting recipes in the form of scrolls. Head towards the path above and then left, and you will find one for Twig Bed near the water.
How To Craft A Simple Bed

The little mouse now needs a place to sleep, so craft a bed in the workstation after gathering the following materials. The beech wood is a new item here, but you will run into some if you go a little further right. You need
- Four Twig
- Three Flax Fiber
- Two Beech Wood
Since you have the axe, you can use it on the branches to obtain a twig. Place the bed anywhere inside your burrow. After completing the quest, you are now able to craft planks.
How To Improve Dusty Armchair

You now need to fix your worn out Armchair. Gather the following materials.
- Three Beech Plank
- Four Twig
- Ten Flax Fiber
To get the Beech planks, you just need to craft them at the working table using the beech branches you gathered. To get more beech, break down the thick brown branches with your axe. Flax Fiber can be obtained by using an axe on tall plants. You will find plenty of them, south of your home.
Once you complete the quest, you will get new crafting recipes, including warmer clothes. You shouldn’t work too late, as you will get colder exploring at night, so you can end your day here if it’s late.
How To Knit Linen Coat

The Dusty Armchair, which you repaired on the previous day, can now be used to knit fabrics. To make a linen coat, you need six pieces of flax yarn.
You need 12 flax fibres to craft them. Then, just make the Linen coat to complete the quest. It will make you more resistant to cold, so you can travel farther. You can go ahead and craft other linen clothes to keep yourself warm, but it’s optional. You will unlock the recipe for flax rope here.
How To Find Aunty

If you check the quest menu, you are given a hint that your aunt lives in the east after you cross the wooden bridge. You need to repair the bridge first. It requires five beech planks and five flax ropes. Both can be crafted at the crafting table.
The Aunty will give you a key to your basement and a recipe to craft yourself some shoes. You will get mushroom seeds, which you now need to plant.
After planting it, you can water it and then talk to Aunty once again. She will teach you some more crafting recipes. You can now make some Twig furniture for your home. Build any of it, and talk to Aunty again.
How To Repair The Stove

To cook in Winter Burrow and make yourself hearty meals for the winter, you desperately need the stove. You can repair it using eight pebbles, and now you can access cooking.
Once that’s unlocked, Aunty will teach you the recipe for Shovel.
How To Craft And Use A Shovel

Crafting the shovel requires you to gather the following.
- Three Pebbles
- Four Twigs
- Two Beech
The Shovel has a higher attack damage than your axe, and you can use it for digging. You can use it over humps of ice on the ground outside. Bring the showel back to aunt, and a cutscene will follow.
