Welcome to the first part of our walkthrough for Witchy Business. In this part, we’ll start our magical adventure as a witchcraft shop owner and play through the game until Day 4.
We’ll break down everything that happens, the upgrade paths we took, the potions we crafted, and the thoughts behind our every choice in this walkthrough.

Difficulty Choice

When you start the game, you’re presented with three Difficulty options.
- Cozy: Take it slow and enjoy your craft. No rush.
- Classic: A balanced experience. Light challenge and easygoing pace.
- Chaos: For the brave! Higher tempo, higher stakes.
We decided to go with the Classic difficulty option for this walkthrough. If you’re after a more laid-back experience, consider turning it down to Cozy. Chaos brings in more customers each day, and at the same time, you also earn more money since you’ll be completing more orders.
Day 1
Shop

The Day cycle in Witchy Business always starts at the Shop. So the first part is mostly about accepting orders, cleaning up stains, warding off thieves, and feeding our pet familiar. If you want to get the most orders, hit the Conche every chance you get.
If Thieves spawn in your shop, use the Wand to hex them down. Mechants can be a good source of supplies, so keep an eye on their wares. Our Merchant brought a Jade for 23 Coins, but at this point, it’s a bit too expensive.

We received six potion orders for the first day:
- 2x Luck Potions
- 2x Inspiration Potions
- 2x Happiness Potions
We also earned 33 Coins from Fortune Telling, bringing our total to 183. As for supplies, we found a Maple, a Belladonna, a Goblin Eye, an Obsidian, and a Gold.

Before closing up, we decided to invest in the Music Box upgrade. The upgrade costs only 25 Coins. But it makes it much easier to handle customers later on.
Let’s head into Town by clicking the Map button in the top left corner of the screen.
Town

Our first stop in Town is the Sanctuary to see what free Plants or Minerals we get from the Floating Geodes and Lake. Click on the objects with the exclamation mark.
We got a Gold, an Obsidian, and a Fairy Dust.

Also, this is a good time to build a Statue of Acolyte in the Sanctuary. This passively gives you some Coins and Reputation each day.

Next, go to the Alchemy Station to see which Potions you can brew for your shop the next day. We have three next-day deliveries and three due the following day. But we want to brew everything to give us a good influx of Coins when we open the Shop the next day.
We have just enough ingredients to craft a Luck and 2 Inspiration Potions.

For Luck Potion, use a Clover in the cauldron, grind a Gold in the Mortar and toss it in, and then start brewing. Keep the meter in the green while brewing to receive 5 stars on the potion.
For an Inspiration Potion, use a Rose and a Fairy Dust and mix them in the cauldron. Like before, aim for 5 stars. We brewed two Inspiration Potions.

There are three more Potions we have to make, but we don’t have enough ingredients for them. So let’s head to the Bazaar next.

Before you buy anything, you’ll want to check which ingredients you actually need. To complete all the orders, we need to brew one Luck and two Happiness potions. Take a look at what ingredients you currently have and what you’re missing for the potions. We need to buy two Laurel and one Clover.

Luckily, the Bazaar already had a Clover in stock for 4 Coins. So we can pick that up. Click Restock if you want to refresh the shop’s inventory.
We were unlucky and had to Restock multiple times to get the materials we wanted. Our total Coins came down to 72 by the time we were done shopping. Let’s return to the Alchemy Station and craft up the remaining potions.

Once you’re done brewing the potions, click on the open book above the cauldron. This is your Grimoire that contains recipes for all the potions. Click on one of the greyed-out potions. The one you see in the image above requires two Plants: Sage and Laurel. Unfortunately, we don’t have it, and we don’t want to spend more Coins in the Bazaar at this point.

Return to the Sanctuary and choose one of the empty garden plots in front of the large tree. Choose Laurel for one, then click on another plot and choose Sage.

Use the watering can on the left to water the patches. These will bloom into herbs that you can use the next day to craft a Mysterious Potion.
With that done, click on the Map icon to return to the Town and click on Shop to start the next day. We’ve crafted all the orders, and currently have 72 Coins and 52 Reputation.
Day 2
Shop

The second day brought in a lot of profit for us, even though we didn’t get too many orders. Since we completed all the orders the previous day, we can deliver them for some bonus Reputation and Coins. The Merchant brought in a Sage for only 4 Coins, which we decided to buy.
We received the following orders on the second day:
- 1x Happiness Potion
- 1x Luck Potion
For supplies, we managed to pick up a Goblin Eye, a Spider Silk, an Obsidian, a Rose, and a Nightshade.

We earned a total of 121 Coins and 27 Reputation, bringing our total to 197 and 79, respectively.
We don’t need to make any Shop upgrades, so let’s head back to town.
Town

Let’s start by visiting the Sanctuary first. Click on the Statue of Acolyte, the Lake, and the Geode for your free rewards for the day. We received a Quartz, an Imp Fur, and some Gold and Coins. Also, make sure you pick up the Plants (Sage, Laurel) that you watered the previous day.

We could visit the Alchemy Station, but we don’t have the right ingredients for the two Potions we need to craft, so let’s go to the Bazaar first.
We’re looking for two Gold to complete our order. But the shop doesn’t have it in stock. But there are a few items that are on a discount. We decided to pick up an Imp Fur and a Toadstool. We’ll check if we can make a Mysterious Potion out of them later.
But we still need Gold. So let’s hit Restock.

Bingo! We bought the two Gold for 12 Coins in total. Let’s go to the Alchemy Station.

Start by brewing the one Luck and Inspiration Potion for the next day. You’ve got all the materials you need for it. Just make sure you’re stirring the Cauldron properly to get 5 stars on the orders.

Once you’re done, take a look at your Grimoire and see if there are any Mysterious Potions you can craft. We found one that we have enough ingredients for right away. It requires a Toadstool and an Imp Fur.

Click on the Cauldron and choose Mysterious Potion. Drop the Toadstool first into the cauldron and then add the Imp Fur from the Oddities pot. Click on the Start Brewing button under the ingredients.

Stir it to perfection to end up with a Mysterious Potion in your inventory.

We’re all done for the day. Head back to Sanctuary and plant two herbs before you start the next day. We decided to plant a Laurel and a Toadstool. We currently have 172 Coins and 81 Reputation.
Day 3
Shop

For Day 3, we want to get as many orders as possible. That means we’ll keep activating the Conch every time it comes off cooldown to bring in a new customer. Luckily, we didn’t have to fight any thieves this day, and could focus on Fortune Telling, Catching Fairies, and cleaning up the stains.
We received the following orders on the third day:
- 1x Inspiration Potion
- 1x Luck Potion
- 2x Love Potion
- 1x Happiness Potion
- 1x Fire Wand
We also gathered two Obsidians, a Nightshade, a Goblin Eye, a Witch’s Nail, and a Rose.

Our earnings for the day were 68 Coins and 8 Reputation, bringing our total up to 240 and 89, respectively. Let’s head into Town.
Town

Let’s gather the free items first. We got an Obsidian, a Fairy Dust, some Gold, and Reputation from the upgrades we have in the Sanctuary. Also pick up the herbs you planted the previous day.
Since we have a decent bit of Coins saved up, we’re going to get a new upgrade for the Sanctuary. The best choice for us at the moment is to build either a Wishing Well or a Whispering Well. You can only have one of these active at a time.

The Wishing Well grants some Coins each day, and the Whispering Well grants Reputation. Since we’re doing pretty well on Coins, we are going to go with the Whispering Well. Click on it to gain your bonus Reputation (+5) for the day.

Head to the Alchemy Station to start brewing the potions. We have enough ingredients to craft an Inspiration Potion and a Love Potion. After preparing them, make a list of ingredients that you need to buy from the Bazaar. You can hover your cursor over each potion in the Orders menu to see which ingredients you need to craft them.

For our orders, we’re going to need the following ingredients:
- 1x Clover
- 1x Rose
- 3x Gold
Let’s head to the Bazaar next.

Luckily, the Bazaar had a Gold and a Laurel in stock. We picked those up and hit Restock. Eventually, we managed to get everything we needed.

Head back to the alchemy station and finish brewing the remaining potions. When you’re done with the potions, click on the wand box to start crafting the Fire Wand.

To craft Wands, you need to first trim the leaves by clicking on them. Green leaves require three clicks, while yellow and red leaves require two and one click, respectively.

After that, you need to polish the Wand by moving your cursor over the wood.

Then click the mouse button at the right time to finish up the Wand.

Finally, you need to fit the Crown at the top of the wand. Do everything properly, and you’ll end up with a 5-star wand.

We’re all done with the third day. We have 50 Coins and 96 Reputation. Hopefully, day 4 will help us recover the Coins that we spent crafting the orders. When you’re ready, hit the Shop button to start the next day.
Day 4
Shop

Day 4 went by quickly. We still haven’t seen a Potion Junkie, which means our Mysterious Potion is still sitting in our inventory. But we did manage to pick up eight more orders for different potions.
Here are the orders we received on Day 4:
- 1x Luck Potion
- 1x Inspiration Potion
- 1x Love Potion
- 2x Happiness Potions
- 3x Health Potion
We didn’t get as many items as in the previous days. We bought a Laurel from a Merchant for 3 Coins, and gathered a few additional ingredients from different events.

We gained 112 Coins and 27 Reputation, bringing our total Coins up to 162 and Reputation up to 123. That’s still not enough to invest in any additional Shop upgrades. So let’s close up shop and head back to Town.
Unlocking The Coven

As soon as we entered the Town, we got a massage from the Welcome Witches Committee. We managed to unlock the Coven for reaching 100 Reputation. It’s a new building in Town where you can find other Witches and also complete some additional objectives to gain some bonus Coins and Reputation.

Go to the Coven to see what’s inside.

You can talk to the two witches here by clicking on them. If you respond with the right dialogue option, you’ll gain +1 Relationship with the specific witch. You can also lose a Relationship point if you choose the wrong dialogue.

Clicking the open book in front of you shows you the current relationship progress with the different Witches you’ve discovered. Hovering your cursor over the portrait of a witch gives you an idea about their personality. Choose the dialogue that best matches the personality of the witch to increase your relationship with them.

Clicking on the bulletin board on the left side wall, on the other hand, brings up the quests window. You can see different quests that you can complete here to claim rewards. We can claim 66 Coins for entering the Coven.

Before talking to the witches, click on the contraption in the middle of the table with the solar system on top. This gives you a random free item each day. We got a Rose.

Speak to the Good Witch, on the left, and choose “Hah, you’re Cute!”. This gives you a +1 Relationship Point with her.

The witch on the right couch is Solis. Choose “The Great Solar Witch!” to increase your Relationship with him. When you’re done looking around, return to Town.
Town

Head into the Sanctuary first, as always, to grab your free goodies for the day. We forgot to plant some herbs the previous day. So we’re going to take care of it right now, in case we forget it again. We decided to go with Oak and Toadstool. But you can choose any other options if you want.

Go to the Alchemy Station next. We have eight potions to craft, but only enough materials for two Health Potions and an Inspiration Potion. So let’s finish brewing them and make a list of the missing ingredients.
Here are the items we’re missing to finish our orders:
- 1x Rose
- 1x Laurel
- 1x Clover
- 1x Silver
- 3x Gold

Hop into the Bazaar to gather the required ingredients. We got lucky with a Clover, a Silver, and a Gold without pressing the Restock button.

Laurel was on sale once we pressed Restock, so we picked it up as well. We now need a Rose and two more Gold. It took a few tries, but we finally got all that we needed. We still have 127 Coins left in the bank.

Return to the Alchemy Station to finish brewing the remaining potions, then head to Sanctuary to see if you can make any Upgrades. We got the Straw Basket upgrade to make Restocking cheaper since we’re using the Bazaar so much each day. It’s a bit expensive, costing us 100 Coins, but hopefully it will pay off in the long run.

At the end of Day 4, we are doing well with 130 Reputations. But we only have 27 Coins. It’s not ideal, but delivering the orders should get us back on track.
This concludes this part of our walkthrough for Witchy Business. Keep an eye on our main hub for the game for more walkthroughs and guides.
