Yakuza Kiwami 3 has overhauled the entire combat mechanics of the original game, and it is now much better. However, many fans have complained about the removal of some major content and that the replaced content is not better. Now that you have defeated Majima again, you will become aware of what is actually going on. Further into the story, things are going to get even more intense. So here, in this guide, I will provide you with a walkthrough of Chapters 8, 9, and 10: Conspirators, The Plot, and Unfinished Business in Yakuza Kiwami 3.

Yakuza games consist of many lengthy cutscenes, and you may feel that they are longer than the actual gameplay. However, the cutscenes are extremely engaging and are essential to the story. Yakuza games are not just about the gameplay. The plot is on another level, and to truly experience it, you should not skip any of the cutscenes.

Conspirators Walkthrough – Hear What Majima Has To Say
After defeating Majima, your objective will be to hear what he has to say. On the way, you will meet Nishida, who will tell you about the Coliseum. Once the conversation is over, head to the location marked on your map and select “Okay, let’s go.”
Upon entering, a long cutscene will commence, and you will be filled in on exactly what is going on. After the cutscene ends, your objective will be to help Rikiya.
Help Rikiya
The Snake Flower Triad is in Kamurocho and has taken Rikiya as a hostage. So you now have to save him. Head up, and as you do, you will face some Snake Flower Triad members. Defeating them will be pretty easy, and as you do, one of them will reveal the location of Rikiya.
So head to the marked spot and break open the blocked path. You will have to defeat some more enemies before doing so. After you go ahead, more members of the Snake Flower Triad will appear. Two of them will have more health than the others, so leave them for last.
Keep Moving Forward While Defeating The Snake Flower Triad Members
This fight will not be tough, so take care of them, and then you will get a location from one of them. However, it does not seem like they are giving the correct location. So instead, break open the path ahead, defeat the enemies, and open more paths for yourself.
Do note that the enemies ahead will have automatic guns. So when you see the red sign, dodge away so you do not get hit, as otherwise you will lose a lot of health. Take care of them and then move forward. Destroy more barricades, and you will have to fight even more enemies.
If you do not see the purple sign on the map, defeat the enemies around you. Upon doing so, the sign will appear. After you have defeated several of them and gone ahead a bit, a mini-boss, Zhu, will appear. Defeating him will not be that difficult. Do so, and he will give the location of where Rikiya is.
Head To Nakamichi Alley
The way still will not be simple. You will have to break the barricades and defeat the members of the Snake Flower Triad to continue progressing. Shortly after, you will reach the building where Rikiya is being kept. Enter it, and a cutscene will commence. Then, you will have to fight the head of the Snake Flower Triad, Lau Ka Long.
Defeat Lau Ka Long
Start the fight with a Heat Action in the Ryukyu battle style. Then use Dragon Boost to have the upper hand in battle. Eventually, his aura will be depleted, giving you a chance to go on full offense even without Dragon Boost. However, note that if you fight him without Dragon Boost while his aura is intact, you will be in big trouble.
Staggering him is pretty difficult, as in between your strings, he can perform his own combos. You can quickstep them or even perfect guard against them, but that would be quite challenging. After you have taken out 50 percent of his first health bar, he will fight with his bare hands.
However, fighting Lau with bare hands is more dangerous. He dodges a lot and can even catch your quicksteps. Even his small combos deal a lot of damage. So you will need to be more careful in this fight and focus on quicksteps.
Second Phase
After you have depleted his first health bar, a second phase will trigger, where he will equip hook claws. He will now have longer strings, so quickstepping can be tough. I recommend using the Ryukyu battle style in this phase to guard against his attacks. Perfect guarding would be ideal, as that would give you more opportunities to attack him.
Do not forget to utilize Heat Actions, as the gauge fills up pretty fast. Also, after you have taken out around 30 percent of his second health bar, a scripted event will happen. Give the right commands to avoid getting hit. His aura will be close to being depleted again, so once it does, go on full offense.
Use Dragon Boost again if it is available and finish the fight. After that, a cutscene will commence, and then Chapter 8 Conspirators in Yakuza Kiwami 3 will be over.
The Plot Walkthrough – Send Rikiya Back To Okinawa
After Chapter 9, The Plot starts in Yakuza Kiwami 3, and a pretty interesting cutscene will commence. Mine will also make his appearance, and when the cutscene ends, you will be tasked with sending Rikiya back to Okinawa as things are getting brutal in Kamurocho.
Head out of the area, and a cutscene will commence. Once it ends, your objective will be updated, and you will need to head to the Millennium Tower.
Head To The Millennium Tower
Now you need to head to the Millennium Tower, and as you reach there, many members of the Snake Flower Triad will be waiting for you. Among them will be the new boss of the gang, here for revenge. So you now have to take him down along with the other members.
Defeat The Snake Flower Triad Boss And His Men
There will be a lot of enemies with bigger health bars, so this fight will be a little brutal. Take care of the ones with guns first, and then move to the ones carrying weapons. Also, if the other members are being a nuisance, you can stun them using a Tonfa to get a little time.
It will be enough to finish off at least one of the opponents. Also, as there are more enemies with bigger health bars, you can use Heat Actions on them too. When you have used a Heat Action, I recommend using Dragon Boost to take care of the rest, and your Heat gauge will be filled again.
Then, when you have taken care of all the side enemies, you can focus on the boss. Start the fight with a Heat Action and then begin attacking him. He will not be anywhere near as strong as the last boss of the Snake Flower Triad, so do not worry. Defeat him, and a cutscene will start featuring Date-san.
Head To The Car
Then, head to the car Tamiya sent for you, and another cutscene will commence. Once the cutscene ends, interact with Tamiya again to listen to more of his story. His story will be pretty long, but it will reveal a lot of important information, so do not skip any of it.
When the conversation is about to end, Tamiya will notice that many of the Suzuki men are outside. So now you will have to fight them.
Defeat Suzuki Security Personnel
Take care of Nagasawa first, as he has a gun. Do not worry, even if he has the red aura, you can easily stagger him. Once you have taken care of him, deal with Yasui and the rest without shields. Now, to deal with the ones using shields, switch to Dragon of Dojima style and use charged attacks.
This will blow the shield away, and you will be able to beat the enemy. You can also grab the opponent even if they have a shield in front of them. You do not have to defeat every single one of them. Once you have defeated enough, Majima-san will come to your rescue. With that, Chapter 9, The Plot in Yakuza Kiwami 3 will be over.
Unfinished Business Walkthrough – Return To Okinawa
As the cutscene ends, Unfinished Business, the first objective in Yakuza Kiwami 3, will be to return to Okinawa. Head to the marked taxi on your map and make your way to Okinawa. Then, your objective will be to head to Morning Glory, where a cutscene will commence. When the cutscene ends, your objective will be to find Toma.
Find Toma
To find Toma, head to Downtown. For more information, you will first need to go to Chura Bar. Talk to Miy san, and he will tell you some important information. After that, you will have to head to the Grand Cabaret. Talk to the man standing in front of the cabaret.
Speak to him and select the first option. Inside, you will find Toma, and a cutscene will commence. After that, you will have to fight Joji Kazama.
Defeat Joji Kazama
As usual, start the fight with a Heat Action in the Ryukyu battle style. He is a tough opponent, but he may not be as troublesome as the previous bosses you have faced. However, he will throw you many times, so you will have to be careful. Use Dragon Boost to take out his first health bar.
After you have taken out a portion of his second health bar, a scripted event will happen. Press the correct buttons to avoid taking damage and then finish the fight. After that, a cutscene will be triggered, and with that, Chapter 10, Unfinished Business in Yakuza Kiwami 3 will be over.
