Understanding The Gameplay
Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis is a great rhythm game, but there’s some depth to the gameplay that you’ll need to understand to progress the story. Firstly, you play through songs with the sole purpose of increasing your denpa and your following.
Denpa can be increased by posting conspiracies online and creating a cult. There are three more elements that act like buffs, which include dokidoki, yunyun, and hype. All of these can be built up by completing songs again and again.
Dokidoki allows you to call your mom, which then results in a buff. Yunyun makes it so that you can discover more conspiracies to post. Lastly, hype allows you to post the conspiracy with the highest level to boost your denpa.
Additionally, the songs unlock eventually by progressing through the story. However, you can also unlock new songs by performing a room search and interacting with the gleaming icons.
The Denpa Transmission
After booting up a new game, go through a few dialogues and the opening movie section. Once the movie ends, click on the load save file option and load the first file to dive into the Denpa Transmission.
Click on Denpa Transmission here, and go through the tutorial for controls after speaking with Yunyun. Press the required button when the tile is on the screen, hold the button when the color follows the tile, and mash the button when you see the golden trail behind the tile.
Once you go through the tutorial, play the first song in the Denpa Transmissions and complete the rhythm game to accomplish your first objective. Play the songs on normal difficulty for now, to get the hang of this game.
Getting More DokiDoki!
Your next objective is to collect more dokidoki, so open up the Denpa Transmissions menu again and play through the second song for now. You should be able to get 20% dokidoki if you combo properly during the second song.
However, once you achieve this goal, Yunyun will ask you to increase your dokidoki even further. Click on the transmissions menu again and play through the third song this time. Don’t worry if you don’t achieve the required dokidoki; just keep playing through the next songs in the list of transmissions.
Once you reach 40% dokidoki, the game teaches you another mechanic to hide the screen when Qtie’s mom comes into the room. Hide the screen in time, or you will lose your dokidoki if your mother catches you playing video games.
Increasing Your YunYun
Once you reach 50% dokidoki, your next objective will be to increase your yunyun by making online posts. Continue to play through more songs in the Denpa Transmissions.
At the end of each level, you will be asked to choose three cards to make an online post. Choose the golden cards that represent yunyun and select three of them to gain as much yunyun as possible after clearing a single level.
Continue to play through more songs and keep making such online posts using golden cards to reach 50% yunyun and complete your current objective in the story. You also need to remember that choosing cards with a higher number of stars translates to more yunyun.
Building Hype
After reaching 50% yunyun, the game demands that you achieve 50% hype next. You’ll need to play through songs again, and a lot of them, to create more posts. At the end of each song, choose the hype post cards to create the post and build hype as fast as you can.

Leveling Up Qtie’s Influence
Your next objective is to increase Qtie’s overall social influence and beat Patootie’s clout on the internet. Once again, you will have to play through songs again and again to post conspiracy theories, which will increase your influence.
You can also use 50% hype to post a conspiracy theory of your choice at the end of a level. If you do decide to use your hype, then select the conspiracy theory with the highest number of stars to post. Keep playing through multiple songs to increase your influence. A cutscene plays after you achieve 70% influence, and this leads into the next part of the story.
Maximizing Denpa
Your main goal now in the story will be to achieve 100% denpa. The percentage is shown at the top right side, and it should be around 30% for now. More songs will also unlock in the transmissions at this point in the narrative.
This objective will require a lot of grinding, as it is not easy to build up denpa. To maximize the denpa that you earn, clear songs at higher difficulty levels, achieve better ranks, and try to get full combos without missing a single input.
You can also build up hype and utilize that to post conspiracy theories with higher stars, and that will also increase your denpa swiftly. All in all, you’ll need to keep grinding, keep getting better scores, and keep posting more conspiracies to achieve 100% denpa.
How To Grind Easily
There is a method of making the grind easier in Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis. Click on the zipfile on the right side of the main home screen. It should be located behind the goals menu. Enter the password “rim de lacent” to unlock the awesome keeb.
Equip the awesome keeb, and the game will auto-play itself, making the grind easier. Just keep selecting songs, and the game will automatically play through them. You just need to post conspiracies and increase your hype at the end of each song.
Additionally, you’ll need to build up yunyun and hunt for more conspiracies if you run out of posting new theories. Hunting for new conspiracies builds up a lot of denpa on its own, too, so it is a really good mechanic, but it takes a lot of time.
The True Ending
When you build up 100% denpa, go to the help tab on the home screen and click on the denpa transmission option. A cutscene plays, and the game gives you a choice. Make sure to select the tune in option here for the true ending.
After the cutscene ends, you’ll be brought back to the main menu with the first option now becoming visible. Click on the newly unlocked start reality mode to progress.
You’ll enter the game with one final objective, and that is to beat Patootie again. Play through songs in the denpa transmissions and keep posting conspiracies till you reach 100% influence again.
Once you beat Patootie, another cutscene is triggered. In that cutscene, the game will ask you to uninstall itself. Keep clicking the no option again and again to unlock the final song. Play through the final song to trigger the true ending.
