Xenon Racer speeds to an early 2019 release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

Xenon Racer will be launching early next year, and publisher Soedesco has revealed the game’s box art. Find out more about the game here.
There’s an awfully small cohort of indie racing games, let alone arcade ones. Milan-based studio 3DClouds has stepped up to the plate, however, and it’s serving up a futuristic racer called Xenon Racer. In it, you can take to the streets and beat your friends or the computer at high-speed racing.

According to publisher Soedesco, Xenon Racer will launch sometime in early 2019 across PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. The console versions of the game will have both physical and digital versions. PC players will have to be content with a digital copy.
The game lets you race in seven locations across the world, of which three have been revealed so far: Tokyo, Dubai, and Boston. Tokyo features six tracks, Dubai features four, and Boston features three. You can effectively double these numbers, as the game lets you reverse the tracks as well.

In Xenon Racer, players can race against the AI in Fast Race and Elimination Mode, and unlock new cars, parts and maps in the singleplayer championship. To practice their racing skills and to break personal records, players can hit the tracks by themselves in Time Attack, Checkpoint Attack and Free Mode. There’s also a local split screen mode and an online multiplayer to challenge others to a race.
