Features

  • Hook up the gaming condenser microphone to your PC, computer, laptop, Mac, or Android phone with the included USB-C to USB/USB-C 2 in 1 cable. Start gaming, streaming, podcasting, or online chatting in no time.
  • The gain control on the microphone allows you to customize the microphone’s sensitivity to pick up sounds from various distances and volumes. To have real-time monitoring of your sound and adjust accordingly, plug in the mic’s 3.5mm jack.
  • The USB gaming microphone comes equipped with a one-key noise cancellation function, which allows it to effectively suppress background noises. Additionally, the microphone’s cardioid polar pattern is designed to focus on sound coming directly from the front of the mic while filtering out unwanted background noises.
  • The microphone includes RGB lighting, with various lighting modes including static solid colors, breathing light, or dynamic multicolor modes. The RGB lighting can be customised to suit your preferences.
  • The microphone is equipped with a one-click mute function, which ensures that you have easy control over your gaming audio. The green LED light indicates that the mute function is active, and the red light tells you that it’s off.

The microphone is a superb compliment to the entry level gamer’s setup. Easy to use we had the microphone setup in minutes. Overall we found it really added to the gaming experience, so much more than just using a headset’s in-built microphone. We enjoyed experimenting with the mic’s gain control, we found that the audio was super clear and the RGB lights are a nice touch.

Conclusion

With the The MAONO DGM20 GamerWave Gaming Microphone you get exactly what you pay for, an enhanced audio experience to compliment your existing gaming setup.

There are many microphone options on the market and within the $50 price bracket the The MAONO USB Gaming Microphone is certainly a good option, though comparable to many other options in the market.

We tried the mic while gaming but also gave it a go recording vocals and something similar to a podcast recording, it didn’t struggle in either scenario and for a device at such an affordable price it would enhance any basic audio setup.

We think this is an excellent option for an entry level mic, which will improve your audio recording – though it does have its limitations, it’s all about how much you want to invest in this area of your gaming experience

You can pick up the MAONO DGM20 GamerWave Gaming Microphone online, it’s currently priced at under $50 and well worth taking a look at it in our opinion.
