Dordogne Collectibles Walkthrough – Chapter 2

Welcome to the Into Indie Games collectibles walkthrough for Dordogne. This guide covers all the collectibles in the game, including stickers, words, tapes, and letters.

Chapter 2: The River
Once you regain control of Mimi, go to the living room and kitchen and interact with the windows to let some natural light into the house. You only need to interact with one window in each room to light up that room.
Letter: Go to the lower-level bathroom, which you can access by walking towards the camera in the screen with the staircase. Once in the bathroom, interact with the books to the left of the toilet and below the wash basin. Interact with all of the books in the box and you’ll find a letter in the back.
This clears the lower level, so go upstairs and enter Mimi’s room, which you entered in the previous flashback. Go over to the window and interact with it.
With the window open, interact with the dresser where Mimi had previously put her clothes in the flashback (i.e. the dresser to the right of the window).
Here, you’ll find a tape, a letter, and then a compact camera. Pick up all three items and when you pick up the camera, follow the on-screen instructions to unfold and use it.
This takes you to another flashback, so back we go.
When you control young Mimi, go left towards the side of the bed to put on your clothes (the spot is marked by a star). Then, exit the room.
Sticker: Go to the right of the screen, past the staircase, and interact with the mirror here to find a sticker.
Sticker: Enter the upper level bathroom (the door to the right of the mirror) and examine the black bath tub to find another sticker.
Word: As you approach the staircase on the upper level, you’ll find a word (“Sunbeam”). Pick it up before going down the staircase.
Once you have the two stickers and the word, go downstairs.
Word: Follow the same instructions as the letter above – go to the lower-level bathroom, examine the box of books under the wash basin, and interact with the books until you find a word.
Tape: Right on the screen where you found the word, look to the left for a yellow tape. Pick it up.
Once you have the word and tape, go to the living room.
Sticker: This one is on the coffee table, so it’s fairly straightforward to find.
Word: Go to the back of the room, to the table with the white tablecloth on it. The word is “Warmth”.
You can now go to the kitchen, where Nora is waiting for you.
Tape: Pick up the tape on the right side of the dining table.
Sit down on the stool to the left of the dining table. Now follow the instructions to prepare your breakfast, picking whichever word options you prefer.
After this segment, you’ll find yourself outside the house.
Word: You’ll find a word to the left of the screen, on the steps leading up to the garden. The word is “Lavender”.
After collecting this word, follow Nora down the path and to the river.
Sticker: Right from where you enter the riverbanks area, go a little to the right to find a sticker.
Talk to Nora now and you’ll get the same camera you found in present day before. Go to the rocks in the river and hop your way to the bottom-right of the screen, which is the middle of the river.
Follow the on-screen instructions here to take a picture of the river. When Nora mentions the balloons, take aim up and take a picture of them.
Once you’re done taking pictures to your heart’s content, go back and talk to Nora.
Soon after, you get to create you own binder page – follow the on-screen instructions and your own heart’s desire to make the binder page just as you like it.
After the binder page, you will return to the present day and after a cutscene, the chapter will end.
