Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Fort Solis. This is a story-oriented guide, so we recommend exploring the game by yourself first and only using the guide when you’re stuck!

Chapter 2: Let There Be Light

Head back through the Stairwell/Elevator door. You can now either go down the stairs to level B1, or you can use the elevator to do the same.

On Level B1, take the door marked ‘Drill Bay’. Go through and continue straight ahead through the corridor.

In the next room, the way to the Main Hangar will be locked. So instead, enter the Restroom.

Look to your left to find an i5 Cell in the hand dryer. Pick it up.

Exit the Restroom and use the i5 Cell on the door to your left, i.e. the office of N. Tout. Inside, you’ll find the Level 3 Keycard. Exit the office and go to the main hangar, which is a Level 3 door.

After the sequence in the hangar, approach the rail-car and interact with it to step on.

Then, return to the platform that tried to attack you, and interact with its battery panel to pull the battery out.

Use the battery on the rail-car to power it up and then use the rail-car’s control panel to get moving.

When you are blocked, go down the rail-car and interact with the door’s manual controls, which are right next to where you get down from the rail-car.

Do the quick-time events to get the doors open, then get back on the railcar and use the control panel to get moving again.

At your next blockage, repeat the process above to get the door open. When the door opens a crack, go through it directly (i.e. don’t bother with the railcar).

Go straight ahead, and open the next door the same way you did the other two.

Once you regain control, go left, then towards the ladder, and climb up the ladder.

Once you’re up, go towards the open storage unit.

After you’re out, take a left and follow the bluish-white lights to reach the Maintenance Unit door. Open it.

Post-decontamination, enter the “Storage – Emergency Supplies” area to your right. Interact with the first unlocked locker from the left (L-02) to find an i5 Cell.

Now go for the Stairwell door and use the door’s access panel here to gain entry (thanks to your i5 Cell). Go down the stairs and enter the Generator Room.

Here, take a right and go straight ahead, then look left for the control panel in the Generator Room. Interact with it to investigate, and then you will start a sequence automatically.

When you regain control, exit the vehicle and follow the on-screen instructions to proceed to Chapter 3.
