Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Chronique des Silencieux.

Part 1
As the game starts, read the letter presented to you, after which Eugène will appear at the train station.
You can talk to the man at the train station to get some directions to where you need to go. Otherwise, go southwest to proceed.
You’ll reach a big square. On this screen, go northwest to find a street you can go through.
Do so and then go northwest, halfway across the screen. Interact with the blue door next to the establishment with the sign “Le Pays de Galles”.
Once inside, interact with the blue door near the entrance and interact with the keyhole screen a few times to knock on the door.
After the conversation that follows, go up the carpeted stairs.
Another conversation follows, after which you can talk to Madame Solange in her room.
You’ll be presented with four topics to talk about – go through all four of them to unlock two more topics, “Pays de Galles” and “Lessons”. Going through “Lessons” unlocks yet another topic, “Gallants”.
Once you’re done discussing all the topics with Madame Solange, you will enter another conversation scene.
After the conversation, go down the stairs and out of the establishment by going through the blue door.
Proceed southeast and go all the way to the south, where you’ll find a street going southwest. Go through this street.
Pass through the open gate and enter the police station.
Inside, talk to the gray-haired man at the desk. As the sequence continues, you’ll be presented with the police report regarding your uncle’s arrest.
After the sequence, you’ll be taught how to point out contradictions. Then, talk to Uncle Flavio and as before, go through all the topics you have on hand (including any new topics that pop up).
Once you’re done, exit the interview screen and pull up your case. You’ll go through another tutorial here, after which you have to point out your first contradiction.
Switch to Uncle Flavio’s testimonies and then select the topic One-Armed Hervé. Select the line “Small world huh? I met him in the market…” and then connect it to the line in the document that begins with “The young woman who was attacked received a slap…”.
With your first contradiction done, you’ll discuss the matter with Uncle Flavio again, and then be taught how to make hypotheses.
When you’re in control again, pick the following combination: One-Armed Hervé + Threaten + Madame Solange.
After the next conversation, leave the police station by going southeast.
Return to Le Pays de Galles by going the same way you came and then go upstairs. Interact with the mauve door here to enter into a conversation with Madame Solange.
A sequence follows this conversation, which concludes with the front page of a newspaper.
