Part 2

You receive a new document, which is the front page of a local newspaper. After talking to Yves, you’ll be in control again.

Go southwest down the carpet and then upstairs. Once again go southwest on the upper floor and proceed through the green door.

Here, talk to Blanche and interview here on all the topics you have at present. After you’re done, approach the chest of drawers to the left of Blanche.

Pull the drawer open and interact with the share certificate in it. This will add the certificate to your document inventory.

Now exit Blanche’s room and go two floors downstairs.

Don’t leave Le Pays de Galles just yet – go through the blue door next to the painting of the fox first.

In this room, go to the northeast and interact with the jackets hanging on the wall here. Slip your hand into the pocket of the blue jacket to find a key.

Return to the corridor and go to the northeast to find a pair of double-doors. Go through to find Victor Dousvalons. Interview him regarding all the topics you have at present.

After you’re done, go to the northwest of this room and interact with the table that has a few papers on it. Pick up the “Lesson Notes” document here. The other side of this page has some clues you’ll need.

Now exit the room and go down the stairs to the basement kitchen. Here, talk to the chef, or the “Admiralty”, if you prefer. After you’re done conversing, interact with the table to the south of the screen.

Here, pick up the purple leaflet to add it to your document list.

Go back upstairs and exit Le Pays de Galles, then enter the furniture shop which is next door (and actually under the Le Pays de Galles sign).

Interact with the cupboard in the back and open the two doors. Here, if you knock on each panel of wood, you’ll find that they all sound alike except the one on the top-left. Drag that panel to the left to reveal a bag.

Now return to the main square by exiting the shop and going southeast. Here, we need to find and talk to four older gentlemen.

Two of them can be found to the northeast of the grocery stall (one has a brown jacket on and the other is sitting on a bench). Talk to both of them.

Now go south and you’ll find the third gentleman sitting on a bench to the west of a shoeshine with a radio. Talk to him.

Finally, go northeast to find the final gentleman sitting on a bench outside the “L’Heure Bleue” building. He has a red jacket on. Talk to him.

This will get you a testimony of all four old men, and you will also be taught how to record melodies. Follow the instructions to record the melody the old man is whistling.

Once recorded, stop playing the melody for now.

Head over the police station, the same way you did before. Once inside, talk to Yves Maleski, the Inspector. As usual, interview him on all the topics you have at present.

You should unlock the final topic of discussion here, “Jojo’s Drug”, assuming you’ve unlocked “Reynaud” by talking to the old men before this.

Once you’re done grilling Yves, go upstairs and interact with the magazines on the chair. Interact with the magazine in the back, the “Paris Flash”. This adds it to your document inventory.

Now talk to Uncle Flavio while you’re here and finish interviewing him about the topics you’ve unlocked since talking to him last.

Now go downstairs and exit the police station. Return to Le Pays de Galles and wrap up your interviews with Victor Dousvalons and Blanche by discussing the new topics you’ve uncovered.

Now that this is done, we can draw a first contradiction.

Go to Uncle Flavio’s testimony on Jojo Mandolina and highlight the line starting with “What was the place called again?…”. Switch to the purple leaflet you got from the kitchen and connect to the “Golden Anchor”.
