Part 4

After examining the bushes through your telemeter, approach the probe and then follow it.

Eventually you’ll get to a chasm. Report it to Novik and then cross the chasm.

Continue following the probe for a good while.

Eventually, you’ll reach Point 5, where Gorsky found the bushes. Note three point of interest on the screen to report your findings to Novik.

Proceed into the tunnel ahead and make your way to the bushes to trigger an extended, unskippable memory of the past.

In this memory, interact with the control panel to your right and get up once Hopper has landed.

Exit Hopper and go straight ahead toward the ocean in the distance.

From the rocky outcrop here, look down on the beach to find a field flag. Look at it with your telemeter.

After this, follow Novik’s instruction and go east toward the camp. The path east diverges in two, but then re-connects, so it doesn’t matter which path you pick.

On the way, you’ll come across the black bushes again. Continue and Yasna will begin to feel nauseous. After the nausea passes, climb up the rocks to end this flashback.

Back in the present, continue past the bushes and through the caves, until you find a rope hanging down from a rocky ledge.

Interact with the rope and start making your way down. When you’re at the end of the rope, look up at the ledge, then the wall to your left, and then the ground, following the interaction points as they come.

As the conversation progresses, interact with the probe. You will then be able to make a choice between either jumping off the rope or descending with the probe.

After getting to the floor by either way, continue on to discover ‘the City’.

At the City, you can inspect the field flag in the distance, the depths below, and height above.

Once you’re ready to move on, you can choose to go either to the left or to the right.

If you choose to go to the left, go up the slope and then pass through the gap in the wall.

If you choose to go to the right, shimmy along the ledge. Going this way will also cause you to get stuck in the metal structures sometimes, and you will be taught to use your Detector to identify fragile sections and avoid them.

Either way, inspect the abandoned things once you get to the field flag.

A little ways from the field flag, you’ll find boot prints. Follow these prints to where the probe is, and then continue down the ledge.

Just after this ledge, the path will split three ways. The path to the right is a dead-end. The path in the middle will take you to a ledge and show you some abandoned equipment that you can report.

To proceed, take the path to the left and onto the metal floor. If you use your detector, you can avoid the fragile parts of the metal floor. Otherwise, you’ll fall through.

Either way, Continue until you pick up Gorsky’s signal on your tracker. Pass through the gap in the wall.

Follow the tracker’s signal to find Gorsky’s backpack, and then look through the gap in the wall near the backpack, where you’ll find the man himself.

Turn right and make your way around the rock wall to get to where Gorsky is. Follow the interaction prompts to help Gorsky get out of his predicament.

During this section, you will have to make the quick decision of whether to evacuate Gorsky immediately or to provide him your oxygen first. The choice is up to you.

Once you’re carrying Gorsky, follow the probe to the open area. After laying Gorsky down, approach the very end of the metal floor and place your relay there.

This will trigger a non-controllable section, and Yasna will find herself in a predicament of her own.
