After ending the war in Lapwing Village, you’ll have access to several quests in Lapwing Village, The Outskirts, and Uptown areas. We’ll go through them in that order.

Lapwing Village

Salamander in Lapwing Village

From Lapwing Village’s save router, go north up the slope and then east. Dig through the rubble blocking the fallen log and then pass through the log.

Immediately after the log, you’ll find a piece of rubble to dig through. Underneath is a green salamander.

Lapwing Parkour

From where you find the green salamander above, go east and jump onto the wooden planks.

Continue east up the blue mushroom, onto the next set of wooden planks. Then, go to the southern edge of the wooden planks and jump right from there to reach the lapwing there.

Talk to the lapwing here to get a Snowstorm Battle Card for Defend.

Mushroom Cargo

Talk to Sammy, the lapwing nearest to the entrance to the Lapwing Village to initiate this quest. Sammy needs to find a barrel full of mushrooms that they lost in the forest.

To find the barrel, go south to exit the Lapwing Village. In The Outskirts, go all the way south and then go west.

Go northwest a bit to reach an area with traffic cones. Sammy’s Barrel can be found behind one of the cones.

Return to Lapwing Village and talk to Sammy to conclude the quest.

Forest’s Bounty

This quest can be found in the Forest of Roots. Go southeast of Lapwing Village and cross the bridge that takes you to a broken tree trunk. Talk to the woman inside to get this quest.

Rita needs three signature dishes of this region to be satisfied. You can find out which dishes she wants by checking the Quest log.

Specifically, she wants a Shroom Jelly, a Shroom Skewer, and Mushroom Gravy. You might already have these items in your inventory due to exploring and battling, but if you don’t, you can easily find them in the market at Lapwing Village.

Turn in all three of these items one-by-one and then talk to her again to complete the quest. Your reward will be a Discount on all shops in the Forest of Roots.

The Outskirts

Go all the way south in The Outskirts and then east, up a ledge (thanks to a green mushroom).

Here, you’ll find a lighter-colored broken tree. Jump on the blue mushrooms near the tree and then onto the piece of land to the north.

Jump on the green mushroom here to go up onto the tree trunk.

Up here, jump on the green mushroom toward the right to get on the same platform as Professor Beryl. Talk to him to get a map.

Uptown

Escorting McKook

Coming into Uptown from the Forest of Roots, talk to the lapwing with the black hat on. This is Winston McKook, and he would like to be escorted to the the Lapwing Village.

After receiving the quest, talk to McKook again to begin the journey. McKook will start following you, so take him west into the Outskirts, and once there, north into the Lapwing Village.

Once you get there, the quest will be resolved and you will receive the Fish Hammer.

Eight Legged Freaks

To start this quest, talk to Snowstorm, who is standing in front of the Savers’ Guild in Uptown.

Snowstorm needs you to take out a Spidust and bring him its corpse. You could follow his advice and go all the way to Badger Mines to hunt a Spidust – or you can simply complete the nearby quest [INSERT], which will have you fighting a Spidust in it anyway.

Bring the Spidust Corpse back to Snowstorm to finish the quest and gain the Crowd Pleaser boon.

Luna’s Circlet

To start this quest, talk to Luna, who is near the stairs in the Savers’ Guild.

Now to find Luna’s circlet, go west from the Savers’ Guild and enter the Royal Castle, which is north from where Papa Baker is caged.

Once inside the castle, go east to enter the dungeons.

Here, go north into a passage spanning east-to-west. Approach the barrel with the mustached face on it and interact with it.

Then, go west to find a cabinet with blue mushrooms in it. Interact with it and speak the word Honey.

Inside, you’ll find a Spidust to fight – very handy for completing the “Eight Legged Freaks” quest.

You’ll find Luna’s circlet by going to the north-eastern end of the study.

Now backtrack all the way to Luna to turn in the circlet and gain the Lint Palette Boon.
