Act 2 (Contd.)

Level 24

Begin by locating the toy soldier box on the upper shelf to the left of the room as you enter it. Open it up.

Allow the soldiers to proceed along the default path, so that they’re all clear of the toy palace on the dining table. This way, you’ll have a free soldier too.

Place puzzle blocks as shown below, so that the soldiers walk in an endless loop.

Take control of the free soldier and drop off the table, onto the chair towards the start of the level. Drop down from the chair as well and go up the ladder, onto the airship.

With the free soldier on the airship, place a yellow block (you can find it on the floor near the broken vase) and place it just after the palace, as shown below.

Pause and aim the cannon at the end of this path, so that it points to the higher-up airship. Then, unpause and let your soldiers hit the cannon.

Return to your free soldier. Head to the balloon machine ahead of you and jump towards the green sofa by the windows. You should be able to just barely make it.

Go to the end of the sofa and climb up the cushions.

Let go of the soldier at the arm of the sofa, and adjust the drum next to the sofa, so that it aims toward the table to its right.

Have the free soldier jump on the drum and land on the table. Now adjust the cannon here to aim at the higher-up airship by the showcase.

Have the free soldier hit the cannon so that the airship is lowered and the next airship is raised. Doing this frees up the toy train for movement.

As the free soldier, head into the balloon machine and jump toward the china cabinet.

Move the toy train to right in front of the china cabinet, and adjust the drum so that it is aimed at the blue vase in the china cabinet.

Aim the cannon on the china cabinet toward the drum on the train, and have your free soldier hit the cannon, so that the cannonball bounces off the drum and breaks the vase.

This gets you your much-needed green puzzle block. Place this block on the dining table as shown below.

Now pause the game and check the soldiers’ projected path – use this path to position the toy train just right. Your soldiers should drop off the table, bounce off both drums, and land on the china cabinet.

Once all the soldiers are through the exit door, have your free soldier join them in exiting the level.

Level 25

In this level, our exit door is blocked by a painting, so we’re going to have to send out our free soldier to raise the painting by the rope it’s hanging from.

You can locate the toy soldier box near the tall yellow lamp. Before opening it up, though, let’s set up the path.

Place three puzzle blocks in the area below the toy soldier box, so that your soldiers will drop onto the lower shelf, then the table below, pass through the palace, and make an about turn at the yellow block.

Wait for the toy soldiers to pass through the palace and for one of them to become a free soldier. As the free soldier, hop off the table and onto the drum below.

On the table with the balloon machine, interact with the ball and paddle to initiate the musical soldier.

Next, go into the balloon machine and jump onto the piano’s key case.

Before heading into the next balloon machine, we need to adjust a couple of pinwheels. Adjust the pinwheel by the piano to aim at the second pinwheel, which is near the partition and harp.

Adjust the second pinwheel to aim for the top of the grandfather clock.

Now send your free soldier through the balloon machine and over the pinwheels’ air currents, so that it ends up on top of the grandfather clock.

Here, you can kick a toy chicken if you wish. When ready to proceed, drop down the grandfather clock onto the shelf with the balloon machine on it.

Get your free soldier ready with a balloon, but don’t jump just yet. Adjust the pinwheel near the partition and harp so that it is aimed for the table between the two armchairs.

As the free soldier, jump off of the shelf and fly to the table you aimed at. From there, proceed to the armchair by the drum and then the drum itself.

This lands you on a mantelpiece. Go up the books to across a couple of shelves to reach a cannon.

Adjust this cannon so that it is aimed for the harp. Then, press the cannon button as the free soldier.

This gets the musical soldier 2/3rd of the way across the piano’s top. Now take control of the free soldier again and make your way across the shelves towards the level’s (blocked) exit.

Go up the ladder and at the end of the final shelf, drop down onto the accordion below. This triggers the musical soldier again, unblocking the exit.

Now it’s time to take our regular soldiers over to the exit door. Adjust the yellow block near the toy palace so that it directs your soldiers to the ladder.

Then, remove the red block from the upper shelf and put it in front of the exit door, so that the way is clear for your soldiers to leap across the room and be directed toward the exit door.
