Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for En Garde! This guide covers all the points of interest and secrets in the game, along with a general walkthrough of how to proceed through a level.

Episode 3: Midnight Mischief
Point of Interest 1: From where you start, look left to find a map on the table. Examine it.
Point of Interest 2: From where you start, turn around and examine the very tall portrait of the Count-Duke.
After checking out the points of interest, go forward and drop down onto the roof ahead. Go down the stairs to the small market below.
Point of Interest 3: Near the closed gate and the grocer stalls, check the wanted poster of Zaida.
Go through the narrow alley near the stairs you came down from.
Point of Interest 4: Examine the poster of the keys just opposite where you exit the alley.
Proceed left and take a right through the narrow alley next to the drinking fountain. On the other side of the alley, jump up the wooden platforms and then use the bar to proceed onto a rooftop.
Turn right and use the rope to swing to the next roof. Use the set of three bars to cross the canal and proceed along the roof to find an open window. Enter through the open window.
Here, you’ll meet a new enemy: the Elite Soldier. Take him down.
Point of Interest 5: Examine the knocked-out soldier sitting on the floor, next to a sofa, on the left side of the room.
Proceed through the open door into the garden area. Go up the slanting rock and use the bar to go up to the roof. Take a right and climb onto the balcony with the broken railing.
Go through the double doors to meet a friend. Proceed through the open door to reach an intersection of two corridors.
Secret 1 (A Real Pineapple!): At the intersection, go straight ahead and look to the right for a portrait of the Count-Duke on a horse. Interact with it and jump through the hole. Interact with the painting on the other side and hop through.
Point of Interest 6: Examine the pineapple on a pedestal to complete this PoI and the first secret.
Return to the intersection and take the stairs down to find Zaida. Hop off the railing here and take out the enemies here. Proceed through the open doors when done.
Point of Interest 7: In this room, examine the pistol mounted in a glass frame on the wall to the right (from where you entered the room).
Proceed to the closed doors and open them. Go straight ahead to talk to Zaida.
Point of Interest 8: Go up the stairs to the enclosure housing the giant golden keys. Interact with the front part of this enclosure.
When done, proceed through the marked purple double-doors to the right of the keys.
In the next area, you can go straight ahead for a two-round fight.
Point of Interest 9: From where you start, go down the stairs and turn left for a notice written in blue ink, affixed to a notice board.
After the fight, pass through the open window.
Head straight ahead in the next area towards the fountain.
Point of Interest 10: Examine the broomstick leaning on the fountain.
Now go right to where the chairs and sofas are.
Point of Interest 11: Examine the thick book on the sofa.
When done, go to the crate with the candle on it and jump onto the open window above it.
Defeat the enemies in this room and proceed through the open doors. Turn left and go up the stairs, then turn around to find a bar (a lantern is hanging from it).
Jump up to the trellis from the bar, and then use the next bar to enter a bedroom with a lot of portraits of the Count-Duke. Defeat the soldiers here.
Point of Interest 12: Examine the open book on the blue trunk to the left of the bed.
Proceed through the open doors and take a left at the end of the corridor to find a bar you can jump to.
On the trellis-and-roof area ahead, go right to find a rope you can jump to. Go to the open window now and jump through.
Go left, then take another left instead of passing through the next open window.
Point of Interest 13: Examine the papers at the far end of the room, near a pot.
Jump through the open window when done. Go a little left and drop down to the shingles below. Drop down into the courtyard from here to battle the soldiers.
After defeating the soldiers, go up the stairs beyond the open purple double doors. On entering the room on the upper floor, go left.
Point of Interest 14: Examine the papers on the table near the open window.
Pass through the open window when done.
