Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for En Garde! This guide covers all the points of interest and secrets in the game, along with a general walkthrough of how to proceed through a level.

Episode 3: Midnight Mischief (contd.)
This guide continues from where the first part of Episode 3 left off.
Jump to the rope right in front of you to pass to the other side and then get through the open window.
Point of Interest 15: Examine the envelopes on the table right in front of the open window.
Go left from the table to find a massive bookshelf.
Point of interest 16: Examine the bookshelf.
Point of Interest 17: Opposite the bookshelf, examine the envelopes on the bed.
Secret 2 (The Swash-Duke?): Jump onto the green sofa and then onto the top of the bed frame. Turn around and jump onto the chandelier. Turn left and jump onto the next chandelier. Turn around to find a bar – jump to it but turn right as you do so that you end up on another chandelier (which is half-obscured). Turn around and jump onto the uppermost chandelier, and finally go through the hole in the dome.
Point of Interest 18: Examine the dummies and the board to complete this PoI and the second secret both.
Drop down to the Count-Duke’s bedroom and proceed through the open doorway to the fountain. Take a left.
Point of Interest 19: Examine the paper on the cabinet to the left of the room.
Go up the stairs and defeat the two elite soldiers here. Then, proceed through the room past the bookshelf and take a right through the open doors.
Pass through the open window, take a left, and pass through the open window there. Go through the open doors and then interact with the closed doors.
In the next room, defeat three elite soldiers and interact with the closed doors to enter the next area.
Defeat the enemies in the room ahead and drop down the opened section of the floor to drop down to the lower floor. Defeat the enemies here as well.
Point of Interest 20: Go to the painting of trees that is next to a massive bookshelf. Examine the bookshelf here.
Go through the marked red door when done to proceed to the next area.
Use the lever here and pass through the open doors. Follow the red carpet all the way to the closed doors and interact with them to open them.
Point of Interest 21: Interact with the bouquet of flowers located on a blue trunk that’s next to the red carpet.
Continue to the closed purple doors and interact with them. Go forward and hop off the balcony to engage in a big one-round fight.
Proceed through the open doors and then the closed purple doors when done.
You’ll enter a garden-like area here. Go to the opposite side of this room, i.e. near the barred brown doors.
Point of Interest 22: Interact with the open envelope on the floor near the barred brown door.
Secret 3 (Drunken Confessions): Turn around from the barred brown door and roll through the broken metal grate to drop down into a cellar.
Point of Interest 23: Investigate the stack of papers in the center of the cellar, between all the flasks and bottles. This will complete the third secret and get you the PoI as well.
Jump over the barrels and pass through the open doorway to find several flights of stairs taking you back up. Open the door and you’ll be back in the garden area.
Go up the stairs on the other side of the garden area, and from the broken railing, jump onto the central trellis.
Here, look for a rope and jump to it to make your way to a balcony. Go up the stairs and use the closed purple doors. Go straight ahead and open the next set of purple doors.
The next corridor has you fighting a couple of Elite Soldiers. Defeat them and then open the purple doors at the very end of the corridor.
Go immediately left onto the trellis and look right for a series of bars that will take you to a particularly high-up trellis.
Go to the open window here and enter, then turn right and open the purple doors. Defeat the enemies here and then pass through the next set of closed purple doors.
Take the door on the right and jump at the bar and the rope to end up on the balcony at the opposite side.
Point of Interest 24: Examine the papers on the red sofa.
Go forward and open the closed purple double doors. Use the lever now and turn left to find another set of closed purple doors. Open them and go down the stairs.
Open the double doors to return to the central hall. Turn left and make for the keys.
Defeat the enemies here and then defeat the new enemy: the Duelist.
Once you’re done, proceed through the marked grey doors to the left of where the keys were.
