Part 5: Railyard

As you approach the railyard, lower your mast so that you don’t hit the roof. Dive into water and swim right, under the half-sunk oil tanker car.

Push the box with the blue handles to the right, then climb on it and jump past the obstacle into the next area.

Here, you’ll find a steam engine and learn how to operate it. Pick up the fuel item inside the engine, stand on the bellow and release the fuel item as close to the empty chamber as possible. This will fill up your fuel a bit.

Jump to press the button on top and then jump on the bellows three times to get a fire going. The steam engine will start, and you can see how intensely it’s going by the meter above the fire.

Wait for the steam engine to rise and connect with the train above.

Then, go to the upper floor and climb the ladder to reach the railyard’s upper floor. Enter through the window.

Go on running left to find a bunch of fuel items (they’re all different-looking, but serve the same purpose). Attach them to the hooks and press the button to send the items to the train one by one. Of course, you can also carry them by hand if you prefer.

Once you have a bunch in the train, set the blue lever inside the train to the right. Repeat the steam engine procedure from before: fill up the fuel, jump on the button above the bellows, and then jump on the bellows repeatedly to get the fire in the firebox going.

This will get your train moving to the right (provided you moved the lever as instructed before). Eventually, the train will connect with a bogie to the right.

Now turn the lever inside the train engine to the left and continue operating the steam engine to move the train (and the connected bogie) to the left.

Keep going until the train reaches the left-most limit. If you look at the bogie on the right, you’ll find a funnel-shaped device with a blue button, and the rail below it now has a hole.

Jump onto the blue button on this device to lower a core into the ship. This will enable the ship’s steam functionality. Before dropping down, you should drop as much fuel as you can to power the ship.

Once you’re down on the ship, press on the blue core near the front of the ship to install the core.

You can now operate your ship by steam power!
