Chapter 3 (Rats and B-Kon)

Chapter 3 begins with another shift – this one you do have to complete, unlike the last one. Your goal is, apart from not getting an F, to shoot rats at Jüngle Bots to disable them. You should, of course, follow our guide on how to score J-rank if you want to be the best at your job.

Play this shift as usual, but when you spot rats (you can tell them apart by their glowing red eyes), grab them with your Jüngle gun and shoot them at a worker bot. Do this three times and then end the shift without getting an F-rank.

After you complete your shift with three Jünglebots downed by rats, the area will be decontaminated. This means you have to get moving fast. Sprint forwards and take a left at the Recycling point, as the map GPS will show you. Enter the corridor to the left and proceed onwards until you find a lever on the right, next to the last window of three. Use your Jüngle gun to pull the lever down and then use the Hacking tool to hack the puzzle in the window.

Don’t worry about failing to do the puzzle in time as your progress is saved between attempts and you can just try again and again until it’s solved.

Once you’ve successfully hacked the window, grab the B-Kon from inside using your Jüngle gun. Place it on your pod and head towards the locked (red-light) door at the end of the corridor. Just before this door, look right for a small passage. Enter it, which turns out to be a vent, then take a right, a left, and another right to reach a room that you will have to stealth your way through.

Watch the robot on the right that’s making its rounds around a shelf of boxes – there is a marked vent near it. Just as the robot passes, make for the vent and enter it. Proceed through the vent to the other opening.

Again, wait for the robot to pass and take a right as you leave the opening. Hide between the red crates and the metal grate, which puts you in a blind spot for the robots.

From here, facing the metal grate, watch the robot on the right – wait for it to pass to the left and make a run for the right, i.e. the area he was formerly patrolling.

You’ll find a marked vent at the end of this area. Get cozy inside and watch the robot guarding the end of this room. Wait for the robot to pass the exit, and rush in through the exit.

This clears you through to the Security-bot section.
