Chapter 15: A Security Risk
You are now in a computerised world that represents the lair’s security protocols. Or something like that. Proceed far left and then down, avoiding the purple corruptions as you go. You don’t have a gun in the cyber-world, so you can’t shoot them down. Your objective is to navigate the lair as you would in real-life, and get to the ‘VR’ room where you actually are.
Go down the slope, then left, and down again. You’ll reach an area whose background is an email that states some sections are corrupted, and that ‘k’ will fix them up when they’re back from Fiji.
Jump on the block jutting out to the right here, and sprint-double-jump onto the wall to the left. Then wall jump upwards. Proceed to the left, then down, and through the shaft heading right. Beware the annoying corruption here! Proceed downwards to the next checkpoint.
Continue right and up, wall-jumping ahead of the corruption following you, and past the next checkpoint. Pass the altar and keep going until you finally reach the VR room. Go right, past ‘Subject_B’ and also past the red door. When you hit the green switch, the door will be unlocked, both here and in real life.
Chapter 16: A Lair Insecure
After returning to the real world, head to the big room you just unlocked. Jump into the gravity-changing field to the right, which will make the gravity go right. Wall-grab the ceiling and continue wall-jumping against the lower platform, so that you get to the gravity field going left.
Now go upwards and wall-jump off the ceiling again, so that you hit the bit gravity field going down, restoring your gravity to normal.
Go to the right and jump up from the yellow button to enter a blocked corridor. Teleport Ben into this corridor, near the locked crates.
As Dan, jump down onto the yellow button to clear the way for Ben. Once you’re clear of the block (a good indication is the panel with four lights pointing downwards), teleport Dan to Ben’s position.
Head into the next room as Dan. This room is a little tricky. You need to clear the red stuff while also flying around due to the gravity rips. You can avoid the first gravity rip – just clear out the red stuff, jump to the right and up the platform. Use the second gravity rip, which points upwards, and you’ll get inverted.
Now proceed right, and before ‘jumping off’ the platform, use your aim to figure out where the spikes end and where the safe zone begins. Jump off the platform by walking to the right and quickly keep going left so that you land to the left of the spikes.
Go left and be careful when jumping into the gravity rift pointing right. You have a chance of being flung into the spikes to the far right! Try approaching the rift from the left, so that you end up in the inside wall.
Wall-jump to the left, avoiding the laser as you go, until you reach the safe platform to the right of the gravity rip. Jump into the rip pointing up, avoid the laser, then double-jump to restore gravity. Head left and stand in the very corner to avoid the laser up ahead. When the laser disappears, go forward until Dan comments that he’s made it.
Teleport Ben to Dan’s position and make him stand right over where the RAM is. Have Dan jump on Ben’s head, and voila, you have the RAM chip now (thanks to the ever-present bug). Step on the yellow button to open up the door, and head past the familiar room, destroying red stuff as you go.
