Monument Valley Walkthrough – Chapter 10, Purple Area

Chapter 10

Hub, 3

Rotate the frame 90 degrees clockwise and have Ida return to the blue-tiled block. Rotate the blocks 90 degrees counterclockwise.

Step onto the next blue-tiled block and rotate the blocks 90 degrees clockwise. Now go to the rightmost red-tiled blocks and rotate the blocks 90 degrees clockwise. Rotate the frame 90 degrees counterclockwise and step in through the final door in the frame.

Purple Area

Grab the circular handles and rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise. Go to the end of the path, to the dead end.

Rotate 180 degrees and then go to the end of this path as well.

There’s a door at the end of this path – rotate the structure 180 degrees to see the door and enter it.

Now you’re on the second floor. Stay where you are and rotate the structure so that Ida is on the right side of the screen and you can see the closed door she just emerged from.

Head towards the central pillar again and stop at the dead end. Rotate 90 degrees clockwise, and then proceed through the door in the central pillar.

Rotate clockwise 90 degrees and go to the end of the path, that is, on top of the central pillar. Rotate 180 degrees and go to the end of the new path. Rotate 180 degrees once more and go through the door right in front of Ida.

Now Ida is on top of the structure. Rotate clockwise 90 degrees and step onto the path ahead, towards the spiky dead end. Rotate 180 degrees and – finally – step on the middle button.

With the light turned on, step towards the crow until you hit the spiky dead end. Rotate 180 degrees. Proceed through the door at the end of the path.

Now we need get to the pedestal that marks the end of the level.

Return to the red-tiled blocks and rotate the blocks 90 degrees counterclockwise. Head over to the blue-tiled blocks on the middle path of the structure.

Rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise and voila, you have a clear route to the very end now. Head on to the pedestal.

And with that, your Monument Valley journey is complete!
