Mutropolis Walkthrough – Act 2 (Getting Food for Trevor, Making Lockpicks)

Act 2 (Contd.)

If you haven’t yet picked it up, your red ID card can be found hanging from the same hook where you found your labcoat, i.e. to the right of Cobra in the Lab.

Pick up the ID and take the elevator down to the Hall by pressing on the 1 button.

Now use the vending machine to the left of the elevator door and use your ID card in the slot.

Return to the Laboratories floor and enter Carlata’s office. Give her your ID card.

To get your ID renewed, you’re going to need your paycheck, which Totel was supposed to have given you before he got abducted.

Enter Totel’s office and examine the folder lying on the floor right below the green mask. Give the folder over to Carlata.

With your renewed ID, return to the vending machine on the ground floor. Use the card with the slot to turn the machine on and then order absolutely anything your heart desires (to give Trevor). You can carry two snacks with you at a time.

Return to the Lab. Offer any of your snacks to Trevor’s cage and then with his hands waving outside the cage, offer him the Clip.

Ask him to turn it into a Star, then pick it up, then the star back to Trevor and ask him to make it flat. Pick up the weird-shaped metal wire.

Now give Trevor your S-shaped metal doodad from behind the mask. This time, turn it into a heart and then flatten it.

Return to the Main Corridor and combine the two pieces of metal together to form a lockpick.

Use the lockpick on the Security Cupboard.

This bit is very tricky to do. First, move the upper “heart-shaped” pick into the lock until it sets into place. You kind of need to do a hooking motion from the inside-to-out.

Next, move the lower wavy lockpick into the lower part of the keyhole. Here, you need to move the lockpick so that you get sparks fly out three times. This will take some trial and error.

Once the cupboard is open, you’ve got your survival kit and completed one of the three main objectives of this act. Next up, we’re going to secure us a ride.
