Nine Witches: Family Disruption Walkthrough – Part 3 (Section 1)

Stuck in Nine Witches: Family Disruption? This walkthrough will guide you through the third part, covering contacting the Resistance.

Welcome to the Into Indie Games Walkthrough for Nine Witches: Family Disruption! As this is an adventure game, we encourage you to first explore the game by yourself. Examine and interact with every object, talk to every character, and if you really can’t make any headway, feel free to consult this solution guide.

Part 3: Sundäe

After arriving at the Sundäe checkpoint, head to the googly-eyed guard and use your passport with him. After reviewing the passport, he will ask you some ‘security questions’.

To answer these questions, you must either memorise the passport numbers, or take a screenshot of them on your system and consult them. You can view your passports in the inventory at any time (outside of conversation).

Note that the passport numbers are randomised for each playthrough, so we cannot provide you with answers directly.

Following the cutscenes, you will find yourself on the overworld map. Here you can explore the various points in Sundäe.

You have two objectives for now: to contact the Resistance by talking to the child violinist, and to obtain the permit from Sauerkraut.

Head north to enter the town.

Near the first house in the town, you will find a can on the ground. Interact with it to learn about the boy. Head back out of the town and go to the market, which is to the east of the town (and next to the river).

In the market, go to the far right to the latrine and interact with it. Once the boy is out, go back to the town and talk to the boy near his can.

Use your coins on the can. If you have no coins, you will have to explore the locations in the overworld and pick ups coins where you find them.

When the boy asks you what to play, ask for a “very very special” piece of music. You’ll notice a man in sunglasses head into the nearby alley. Head over to him and talk to him. A cutscene will follow.

Head out of the town again and go south past the West Bridge. When you reach the church, go West to the viewpoint.

Here, you will meet the Resistance. Talk to them and exhaust the dialogue options. Another cutscene will follow after you have done so.

You will now have a load of new objectives, but first, be sure to pick up the coins lying around at the viewpoint. You should find two. Leave the viewpoint when you’re done.
