Pill Street – Getting the Battery

Our objective in Pill Street is to fix Nathan’s AVR headset. To do this, we need to find certain components.

Start by heading into the magenta-shaded alley in the far back of Pill Street, which is Backstreet. Talk to the bouncer standing to the right. Ask him about hardware components, and then about really needing to get inside.

Once he rebuffs you, look at the blue address sign to the left side of the screen. Now go back to the main Pill Street.

Use the multi-coloured terminal located straight to the right of where your bike is parked. Tap the ‘Food’ icon along the bottom and then tap any of the pizzas. When the terminal asks for your credit card, use it from your inventory. When asked for an address, respond with ‘Chestnut Street 1’. Exit the terminal and after the drone talks to you, go back to Backstreet.

After the bouncer goes indoors, follow him into the shop.

When conversing with the shopkeeper, show him your Ultra Glove to impress him. This will let you access the shop freely.

Talk to the shopkeeper about buying AVR headsets, and then repairing AVR headsets. You’ll learn that you need lenses and a battery for the headset to be repaired.

Now in the centre of the shop screen, there’s a bunch of items you can buy. You should buy all of them, except for the Neon Goggles (which you can’t afford). Simply interact with the item to have Nathan buy it.

You will need to buy the Holographic Statue, the Old Mobile Phone, and the Screwdriver Kit.

Now that you have the Screwdriver Kit, you can easy get your battery. Open your inventory and use the Screwdriver Kit with the Hoverboard to extract the battery.

Getting the lenses will be more complicated, and will require you to explore more of Pill Street.
